The consequence of mirroring damage and dying/coming close to death if it is destroyed is too severe. like, there will be instances where people would be able to justify taking this thing out within a relatively quick time span, and times when others will need more time to do so (referring to other player characters).
I mean, you can have it mirror some damage (it is a part of Dio after all).
If you don't want Dio to have to control it, then it'd need to be something like a zombie, where you summon it and it just goes after one person or does one thing, having it mirror a bit of damage would make it a little stronger and bit more durable than a regular zombie, but destroying it would still be a relatively simple task, if given time.
I believe I understand. At the very least I appreciate you looking out for DIO's interest of not dying, lol.
Here's another write-up of the move, with some key differences. The main gist now is now about revealing The World sparingly, but using it as an assistance to DIO's own strikes. I don't know if you've ever played the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure arcade fighting game, but this should reflect DIO's playstyle in that game.
The World (requires Ranged Proficiency, Ranged Materialize Proficiency, Remote-Control Proficiency, and Telekinesis) - 600
DIO can summon his Stand, The World, to assist him in battle. The World manifests instantly, and it will always manifest within a 5-foot radius around DIO. The World manifests itself as a muscular, humanoid figure that stands at about 7 feet tall and possesses a physical frame similar to DIO. When manifested, The World can be given simple actions to do, such as strike at a nearby target, retrieve an item for DIO, or other physical actions. The Stand persists on the field for as long as it needs to in order to complete it's action. Once it's 'command' is complete, it will vanish. If need be, DIO can dismiss The World at will before it's order is complete. It's maximum movement range is dictated by DIO's Telekinesis power. It will not move beyond this range.
The World's physical strikes hit as hard as DIO's would. In close range, this makes DIO a terrifying fighter, as he can utilize his Stand to perform additional attacks or lash out at a target that is beyond melee range. (Example: DIO punches the target twice, and attempts to land a third punch from the right. The target manages to strafe to the left and avoid his strike, but The World emerges from DIO and smashes the target across the face with a left hook, sending them stumbling back into DIO's range. The World vanishes before the target realized what had happened.)
(Another Example: An enemy DIO has become aware of manages to catch DIO whilst he's turned around. The enemy charges and attempts to stab DIO before he can turn around and block the attack. DIO smirks, summoning The World behind his back. The World appears facing the target. It disarms the enemy as they're in the apex of their charge, surprising them and leaving them weaponless. The World vanishes as DIO turns around, now able to exploit an unarmed, shocked opponent.)
Although Stands are invisible to non-Stand users in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, the will of Omni dictates that all beings can see and touch The World. If The World is hit or attacked whilst it is on the field, damage and Injuries will be mirrored on DIO. If The World is 'destroyed' (aka, it is hit by an attack that would be enough to kill or destroy DIO himself), it will result in a Stand Crash; DIO will be stunned for five seconds, and will not be able to use The World again for an additional five seconds.
