As Cirno looked at the others she sighed and started to think about her past in full. Sure the foggy memory was a front she put up but she didn’t know if she should come clean. She grew quiet as she was thinking about her past in full after Clownpiece talked about hell.
As the ice fae was next to one of the older fairy’s and was talking to them. “Cirno . . . i know this is difficult for you but please try to talk to the others, who knows you might have fun.” The ice fairy silently shook her head knowing full well what the other would say to her face. Sure she was friendly to them but they only tried their best to keep their displeasure hidden.
The older and taller fairy shook her head as she rubbed her hand in the ice fairy’s hair. “Well you are one of the smartest, cheerful fairy’s i know.” The Fairy touched her forehead to the young ones before walking off. Cirno felt honestly disappointed the other fairy’s here couldn’t pick up a sword, nor fight to the skill she had. Sure they ridiculed her birthright as fairy of the ice age’s.
At that moment she was soon met with a person who didn’t look like anyone she knew. The person was accompanied by two people one was a nine tailed fox and the other was a cat person? She looked at them and wondered who they were and what they wanted. “Are you here to ridicule me also? If you are then please i don’t want to talk to you.”
She was soon met with a chuckle as the person hid there lower face behind a fan. “Fufufu fairy of the ice age’s am i right? Well i didn’t expect you to be here after all the last one was in a land beyond the seas.”
The lady held out her hand to shake the small ice fae’s and cirno took it with enjoyment. “Big sis is the only one that truly cares about me. Her being a Fairy of miasma and all that. Well i guess my biggest problem is that i have lived for too long. Each death from my birthright is like a weight on my chest; or each death is a single drop of water . . . it’s like i’m suffocating under all this weight i carry.”
The gap hag was honestly surprised by this lowering her fan slightly to show a slight frown. She did not expect to hear this sin of time. “Well i think i have overstayed my welcome. But i don’t think you are to blame in all of this.”
Cirno laughed slightly as she remembered the first time she woke up. It was cold . . . oh so cold. Like all life would die by her touch. She remembered the pain she felt; as animals literally dropped like flies around her.
Then something amazing happened she learned how to control and manipulate her powers to a acceptable extent.
Years passed and humans evolved, grew greedy, started to take land that was the natures to use. It was when the first fairies started to die in Scotland that Cirno ran for fear of her life. It was at first simple nature phenomena like fear but soon it was fairy’s like plague; that were on their deathbeds.
It was the 20th century and she was living in the first and second world war. She was playing with herself in the snow when she came across a group of Soviets and waved to them before walking over. She started to talk fluent Russian to them. “How are you today?” The men nodded as they said fine or whatever. She heard a nearby bomb and started to shake as she went to a nearby tree to steady herself. She had to do something to help these men survive. She used up a lot of her innate power to create a horrible winter to help stall the Nazi's in there assault against the Russians.
She soon was met by the same woman she met centuries ago. “Oh your back? Tell me just why i must suffer?” Yukari yakumo the youkai of borders opened her fan while she thought the question through.
“I . . . don’t have an answer for you sadly though i have a offer for you though.” Cirno looked at the youkai and frowned.
“What sort of offer?” Yukari genuinely laughed at that. She opened up a portal and reached in grabbing a bottle of sake. “Well i’m trying something out as a paradise for youkai. I wanted to personally see if you would be interested in coming and living there. Also do you want some Sake?”
Cirno shook her head as she pulled out a bottle of vodka and poured it into a shot glass before stopping the bottle. “I got my own drink i enjoy. Well i don’t have anything better to do so sure let’s go see what this place has in store for me but once this war ends since i do not want innocent men and women to die.” She finished up the shot before shattering the ice in her hand before taking the bottle and walked away to help the fighting on the Russians side. Once the war officially ended she walked into a portal and on, the other side she was met with a lake.
She was soon put back into reality as she heard Clownpiece trying to get her to stop reminiscing about the past. “You ok Cirno? You looked a little pale there for a second.”
Cirno shuttered as she heard the boom of a extremely large animal she covered her ears and shook not out of fear but of something that at least Clownpiece would never understand. Cirno looked around out during her shell-shock, and once the sound grew smaller she sighed taking her hands off and sobbing. “Damn shell-shock.”
She shook her head at Clownpiece talking about Hell. “That seems terrible but not to the extent my natural phenomena is. Hell is a paradise compared to the worst ice ages. It’s a living hell” Cirno looked honestly scary as her ice wings grew in size and her eyes gleaming a crystal blue. “Because your little hell is nothing compared to the hell i live as a fairy of ice age’s. I couldn’t talk to anyone during those times due to my destructive qualities. Did you not think something was off with my ice aura? That is just the tip of the iceberg my friends but now my past."
She laughed sadly at the lives she carries with her mind. “I went from Scotland if you know where that is; over to France hoping to save some fairy’s from there death only to fail. By that point the first great war was in swing pulling the entire world into it. I first met the destructive weapons that are artillery and tanks. I made it to the Russian motherland and rested there for a few years before the second great war started and i was stuck in the middle of it. The Nazi’s had pushed the Russians to there capital before being pushed back by Stalin . . . i may of had something to do with that. Then after the war i came to Gensokyo and have lived there ever since until Omni took me from my home.”
She cried in anger and pain as she looked at the ground as the immense weight of her sins. "Millions dead by my phenomena . . . it feels like i'm drowning. These are my sins laid out for you three to see. Time, and mass genocide of multiple species. Call it survival of the fittest, or just lack of luck but given that there are five major individual ice ages; and five different forms of myself with the memory's of the one that came before, this is unacceptable even for me."
Soon they were met with a lake that was forming mist and Cirno gave a simple smile as Daiyousei put her hand on Cirno as a way of trying to cheer her up. "I don't care about any of that stuff Cirno-chan. I enjoy your company and honestly i wouldn't want it any other way with you." Dai-chan pulled the ice fae into a hug once the two had landed. "Also Clownpiece maybe you should find a doctor or would it be a physician here? Well anyways you should probably head while Cirno-chan sets up her house here. Yuuka you probably have other things to do right now so it’s not imperative you stick around."
Cirno got out of the hug and started to find a nice sandy bank right on the edge of the lake that she started to build her house from scratch. Each ice block made with precision and effort to keep the whole house stable.
After a couple hours the house was done sporting a traditional igloo with the main exception of a fire place and a second floor with a door big enough for most people who aren't incredibly tall to walk through without bonking there head in the frame. Inside has a few cooking appliances, a main dining room with a fireplace. On the second floor there was her room and a guest room large enough for someone like Hong Meiling to sleep in thus making it by far the largest room in the igloo. It really would be a engineering marvel if it wasn't in the Omniverse.
Sure Cirno would have to head to a nearby village to get supplies and stuff but for the most part she was self sufficient with the major pro being fairy's did not need food, or water it is just that they enjoy it. Even the supplies she could summon for herself if she was feeling lazy.
Of course there was always Yuuka who could teach her agriculture but that would require her to learn stuff. Cirno smiled at Daiyousei before speaking. "Thank you. I mean it." She got up and looked around to find the nearest village or town. "Well i'm going to buy some stuff so i'll see ya in a few hours. Cirno took off after that to find the nearest human town.
