The more Bob explained the job, the more Bill realized how far a rabbit hole he had fallen into, out of all the jobs that were advertising online, 'package deliverer' sounded the most normal and safe, mind you, it's not hard when the competition was stuff like 'dragon slayer', 'professional fire-eater', 'torture camber tester' and 'zookeeper'.
"A WEEK!" Oh no, there was no way that he was going to stay in a van with a total stranger for a week, except he was case it was in the contract, he should have probably read it first.
Bill's sudden outburst seemed to be ineffective on Bob, the man just acting like he just got out of bed despite it being 8 in the morning, with the messiness and the multiple guns that man was toting, he so wasn't making it easy for Bill to get a good first impression, and then the spider came.
"A-are you nuts? M-me, shot a gun, IN HERE!" The more muscular of the two replied, the other not even having the courtesy to listen. 'Oh crap, Oh Crap, OH Crap, OH CRAP!' Bill closed his eyes and prepared for an almighty impact, except it never came. Instead, all the man could feel was an attack at his pants pocket. Opening his eyes, Bill saw that the spider was just trying to get the chips that he had sneaked in. "Oh, y-your hungry, l-let me open the packet for you." Nervously the abbed man reached to his pocket, the spider let him pass as if the creature knew what he was doing.
The bag opened with little force, making a satisfying op as it did. Reaching into the bag, Bill pulled out a handful of chips, dropping them into the mouth of the spider, finally starting to calm down. "You like it?"
