I don't think Marcus can counter Dane's super since it's aimed at Jak. He can hit Dane with one in his post, but if you want to counter it Jak has to use his super (which it appears you're doing based on your edit).
So Dane and Jak will hit each other (Dust/Ash needs to do a coin flip to determine if they go through full damage or are both weakened), and then (later at the end of one of Marcus's posts) Marcus can use his super attack on Dane.
