Yuuka looked like she'd been in a tangle with a shredder.
Her breathing was starting to become labored, even pained. The cold air and tiny airborne shards behind the icy attack had torn into her throat like sandpaper, sending her into a weak coughing fit as her lungs tried to adapt to the cold. She asked herself how many times she had frozen to death and died in the winter. How many times, and yet she was still made a fool of like this?
Being kicked while she was down was adding insult to injury. Or, injury to injury. Syn had most certainly broken a couple of her ribs. By the time she was upright, she was coughing blood, though she was unsure if it was from the cuts inside her throat from the ice shards or the massive internal bleeding from her lungs being impaled. She decided on "both, probably," and shook her head as she righted herself to go on fighting.
Rapidly she realized her parasol was doing a grand total of nothing of note against Syn. Still, it was mindless- she continued for far longer than she needed to, given the circumstances. But she was caught off guard by something she had not taken into consideration- the fairy previously summoned by Clownpiece. Yuuka hadn't thought her much of a challenge, but her mistake rapidly dawned on her as both she and Syn were bathed in excruciating flame courtesy of the fairy's hands.
As her arms pulled themselves over her face, she thought grimly that at least maybe this had cauterized those wounds.
When the fire cleared, she could see that the majority of her sleeves had been completely disintegrated by the heat. Syn didn't seem to be faring particularly well either, but he had taken the hit better than she had. However, as he hadn't had time to cover his face, he was still a bit blinded by the light from the fire. This, Yuuka realized, was just about the definition of a chance. Taking it in her teeth, she bit down on the handle of her parasol until she tasted iron.
Not waiting a moment for the fairy to recover from the attack, Yuuka grasped her hard by the wrist. Though muffled, she managed something that sounded vaguely like "Those had best not be from my Garden of the Sun," directed at the fairy, obviously in reference to her sunflowers. She did her best to smile when delivering this question. Yes, she was aware they definitely were not, but she was just teasing.
The fairy, for her part, did a wonderful job of looking just as terrified and confused as Yuuka wanted her to.
Though she struggled and kicked, Yuuka easily grabbed the fairy's feet every time she neared landing a blow. But there was no time to torment her- it would be silly to do so anyway. Instead, Yuuka did the next best thing. She wound up, dug herself into the ground, and whipped the fairy in a throw directed straight at Clownpiece herself.
Once the fairy left her hands, she opened her mouth and caught her parasol in her right. Of course, Yuuka didn't know the meaning of opening her mouth quietly, so she felt the need to say something. "Return to sender." She spoke with a smile that told everyone she knew how bad that one was. And then she immediately started coughing again.
Sadly, the moment she got the sweet satisfaction of the two hell fairies bowling into each other, her train of thought was cut off. By a swing at the side of her head from Syn, no less. Though she caught the punch with her left hand, it still bumped into her a little bit, which was quite unpleasant. "Oh, you're still alive," she stated, almost disappointedly, before adding a "for now."
But she didn't need to wait long. Presumably still outraged from the bow thing, Cirno had found it in herself to fire another couple of icicles at the Shadow Dragon. As he turned to give her another quip about how much he wanted to kill the fairy or whatever- Yuuka had not been paying much attention, finding it laughable he was even trying- the youkai lifted herself into the air once more. With those two in their own scuffle now, there was just one more that she needed to take care of.
Thankfully Clownpiece's outfit amounted to painting herself with a bullseye. More thankfully, she was still bickering somewhat with that fairy friend of hers that had been flung into her. Yuuka smiled as she lined up the shot once more, this time more directly at the two. If it grazed the two below her, that was just a bonus.
"Master Spark."

"Master Spark."
Quote:794 words.
Traded some blows with Syn.
Struck (along with Syn) by Charged Hellfire from Torchlit Fairy.
Grabbed and threw Torchlit Fairy at Clownpiece.
Blocked a hit from Syn.
Used Cirno hitting Syn with Icicle Attack as a distraction.
If it ain't broke, keep using Master Spark. Just aim for Clownpiece this time.
