It startled Asriel to know that there was another Flowey out there in the man. He was someone with the ability to turn his emotions on or off, so he could disable his mercy and compassion during fights. But at the same time, Asriel knew in the Omniverse, as a Prime you could never truly die, so technically he wouldn't be killing anyone unless they were a Secondary. And also, he had to try to accept different philosophies and ways of thinking out here in the Omniverse.
"I'll go first." Asriel announced.
"All right." 13-Jzall said.
"Before you say anything," one of the stormtroopers interjected. "we aren't going to give out our past to you."
"OK." Asriel said. "Anyway, as you all heard before, my name is Asriel Dreemurr. In my universe, thousands of years ago, before 0 AD., the humans and us, the monsters went to war. The humans made the first attack against us because they were afraid of a monster going crazy and stealing a human's soul by killing them. Oh yeah, human souls also last long after death and continue to stay in the physical world unless very specific circumstances occur. If a monster absorbs a human soul, they will become a god-like being. A human can absorb a monster soul, but this has never happened, since monster souls usually are destroyed as soon as they die. Only boss monster, the type of monster I am, souls are different. Even so, our souls only last for a few seconds before destruction.
"The humans ended up winning in the war. Not a single soul was taken. Probably because in my world, an ordinary human could be a multiverse destroyer if they harness their DETERMINATION. Only a few monsters are that strong. Anyway, they took mercy on us and instead of destroying us, banished us in a mountain's cave systems instead. Their best sorcerers created a barrier, which people can fall through, but no one can leave unless they’re a being with the power of at least one human and at least one monster soul. Also, the barrier can only be destroyed if someone with the power of 7 human souls uses their god-like magic on the barrier. Anyway, thousands of years later, I was born to my parents, King Asgore and Queen Toriel.
"We lived a mostly happy existence underground until one other element came in. My adopted sister, Chara.
OOC: I'm calling Chara a she since Chara is female in the Omniverse.
"Now don't get me wrong, Chara was a good person. Good enough for us and the entire underground to love her. However, she accidentally caused many problems in the kingdom. She was a human who fell through the barrier in order to kill herself since she despised humanity. However, she survived and found us. Since there was no way out at that time, she decided to stay with us and we became siblings. However, that all changed when Chara formed a plan. A suicidal plan. She would eat buttercups, poisonous flowers, and when she died, I would absorb her soul and kill 6 more humans in order to absorb their souls and free the monsters. I didn’t want to go along with it, but she emotionally manipulated me to do it because she only had good intentions for the monsters and hated humanity.”
“When Chara died, I absorbed her soul. We took Chara’s old body and buried it next to the golden flowers in her home village, since she wanted to see them again someday.
“However, some humans saw us, assumed I killed her and attacked us. Chara took control of my body and attempted to murder them, but I retook control just as she was about to do it and I took the beatings without showing resistance.
“We ran back through the barrier because we were injured. But we died and our body turned to dust. Understandably, my father and mother were very sad and due to the stress brewing, they broke up. Also, Chara’s soul mysteriously disappeared.
“You might ask how I know that. Well, it’s because I came back to life some time later and was told this. The royal scientist was experimenting with what makes human souls tick in my world: DETERMINATION. She injected it in a flower to see if it would come to life. It didn’t work at first, so she put the flower back in my father’s garden where it came from. However, after she left. I came back to life. It felt horrifying and weird to be a flower. I eventually met my father again, but there was a cruel twist. I couldn’t feel anything except for negative or evil emotions. When he couldn’t make me feel compassionate, I ran away and found my mother, but she couldn’t help me either.
“Eventually, I tried to kill myself, but due to the DETERMINATION’s time warping abilities, I ended up back in the garden like it was a bad dream. Then, I saw everything the underground had to offer. I saved everyone. I killed everyone. I feel so guilty about what I did as a flower, but without feelings there was no way of knowing right from wrong. But, my ability to reset back to the garden and create new reset points held my life together without feelings.
“But then, something new happened, a human named Frisk fell through the barrier and in hours, they befriended everyone in the underground. I manipulated a skeleton named Papyrus to gather all of Frisk’s friends in one place: my father’s castle. Then I absorbed their souls and the 6 human souls my father had been collecting in order to try to break the barrier once he got 7. All of monsterkind’s souls equal the power of one human soul. I became a god then. But, I slowly regained my feelings as Frisk negotiated with me. I was about to break the barrier but return to my existence as a flower because I didn’t want to keep anyone inside me.
“However, this Omni interfered and ruined everybody’s hopes and dreams. I and the other souls inside me were brought here to the Omniverse. Now, I have to decide the fate of monsterkind.”
Asriel pointed at 13-Jzall.
“I have one plea for you. Please don’t act like I did as a flower. I was so evil and cruel then.”
