Isabelle and Rosie spent the next few hours at the theme park. The mad cat wasn’t satisfied unless he road the rollercoaster at least five times. Izzy considered the ferris wheel a blessing after that.
While the dog was fighting a headache, she quickly learned that her partner may be way too enthused about flying. She had her arms outstretched as if she were the leading lady of Titanic, her eyes closed as the high air ocean breeze rustled her. She wasn’t even paying attention the stunning view the ride was giving her. Then again, neither was Isabelle. She just watched Rosie the whole time, her look of bliss was awfully cute.
Afterwards, the pair had corn dogs for dinner as they merged back onto the beach. As Rosie bit into her breaded sausage on a stick, she got a few words out between chewing.
“Thank you so much for today, Izzy!” She said. She swallowed it all with a big gulp, then gave Isabelle a side hug. “This has been the best day I’ve had in a long time!”
“Thank you, two for letting me come along!” Said Usopp, causing the pair to jump.
“Captain? Since when did you come back?” Cried Rosie.
“Come back? I’ve been with you guys the whole day?”
“The whole day? I don’t remember you when I passed out!” Retorted isabelle.
“I was getting you guys waters at the time!”
“You weren’t on the rides!” Rosie added.
“Well, yeah, I waited outside for her guys, didn’t look like my thing.”
There was silence between the three, Isabelle and Rosie just stunned that they had a third this whole time.
“D-did you seriously forget I was here? You even bought me dinner!” He said, pointing at his corn dog.
The two still didn’t respond, just dead eyed at the apparently lack of perception. Finally, Rosie broke the silence.
“Hey look! A volleyball game!” Called out the cat.
“Don’t change the subject!”
“Let’s see if we can join the game!” Called out the dog.
“You guys totally forgot me, didn’t you?!”
The pair run up, hand and hand over the protest of their pirate friend. The two approached the net.
“Hey! Can we join?” Called out Rosie.
“Oh, sure!” Responded Gildarts. After Ambrosia, he wasn’t phased by cat and dog people anymore. “If you’re fine with being on separate teams!”
“That’s fine.” Isabelle said.
The two looked each other in the eyes, smiled and then parted their hold hold, going to separate sides of the nets. Rosie took the side of Molly, and Isabelle took the side of Gildarts.
