Sense and Sensibility and Stormtroopers (PvP)
#11
The wreath of raw power around the hero had faded.

What had once been an almost mortifying display of crimson red energy petered out as Might marched toward his foe.  The hero was undaunted, as heroes are want to be in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds.

Even with his surge in power a thing of the past, Might could still rely upon his impressive ability to rapidly accelerate.  He zipped up into the air as if he were shot out of a cannon, and while the machine-hybrid managed to parry the first two errant swings of the man’s fists, he couldn’t telegraph the third when it went up into his gut.  Spitting up a mixture of saliva and blood, Seventeen was bent over the hero’s fist, and before he knew it, he was plunging from the sky like the proverbial fallen son.

In a plume of smog and debris, the cyborg crashed down into what had once been a parking garage.  While he’d claimed the advantage in their aerial exchange, Might’s blows were softer—the hero had his limits.  Behind that bravado and wide smile, he was simply a man.

Seventeen was back to a fully vertical position when Might touched down onto the roof overhead with a dull thump that splintered the aging concrete structure.  A split-second later, the muscled warrior kicked down through that failing surface and landed a few yards away from his cybernetic adversary.

“How does this end?”  The machine-hybrid asked as he held up a palm and summoned a sphere of energy.  Without waiting for an answer, he hurtled it toward the chest of his opponent, who reacted by making himself scare in the blink of an eye.  The machine-hybrid had angled the sphere to the right, so that was the direction in which he threw himself when he lost track of Might.

The hero swung through the empty space where his adversary had just been, and when he saw the flicker of light from the floor, he could only scowl in the split-second he had before the ki blast exploded against his chest and face.  Although his ears were ringing and his legs felt a little wobblier than a moment prior, Might remained vertical.  He even clenched a fist and started through the haze toward his now unseen attacker.

He had already moved by the time the staggered hero reached his former location, but Seventeen couldn’t help but crack a smile.  With the Power Sword in his hands, he rushed forward and caught his foe in the side with the flat of the blade.  Knocked off balance, Might still managed to lash out with one of his boots as he fell to the floor.  The errant kick caught the cyborg in the chin with enough strength to smacked his teeth together and draw blood from his gums.

Seventeen stumbled himself, and when he caught himself, he reached up and touched a few fingertips to his lips.  The fingers came back wet with blood, and for a strange reason, that did little to sully the grin he wore on his face.  “That’s it, Hero,” Seventeen whispered as he wiped his ensanguined fingers off on his shattered, broken trooper armor.  “Don’t let them down.”  He added as he sheathed the sword and gathered his focus.

Rising once more to the challenge posed by the pale little warrior, Might steeled himself as his foe once more summoned up the fury of the red flame.  Seventeen sprung forward across the parking garage, his body a red inferno as he buried his bloody, bruised knuckles into the side of the hero’s perfectly squared jaw.  A beat later, a swift kick threw Might down to the floor, where he found himself with arm’s reach of a rusted car left to die in the old garage.

Unimpeded by the cyborg’s relentless assault, the muscled warrior rose to his feet and managed to parry an errant swing.  Rather than go for the cheap counterattack, Might instead shifted the other way and grabbed onto the car’s window frame with both of his meaty hands.

“Smash!”  The hero bellowed as he swung with all of his might, lifting the car high enough off the ground to swing it face-first into the cyborg.

For his part, Seventeen threw out his hands and dug his feet into the ground to defend against the bulk of the rusted jalopy.  When the impact came, the front end of the car buckled around him like an empty aluminum can, but that same force also sent his feet down through the concrete floor of the garage.

With a yelp, Seventeen dropped down to the next level of the structure and landed with a dull thud that fissured the floor and threatened to nearly drop him down another twelve feet.

Seventeen used T1 Powered Up Form (Kaioken Untrained) for this post and the remainder of the round -- 2 SP

That should leave him with 1 SP.
