Stars Proto Man, Cloud Strife, Blink, and Cole.
The four primes fought back against the initial detachment of troopers. They proceeded to withdraw toward the interior of the island as the Bug summoned more troopers to take them out.
Amid their efforts at a controlled withdrawal, they get scattered as Cloud-Blink press onward. They fight off an attack and press onward to more solid ground. Cole and Proto Man get dunked for a moment and resurface to an angry bugman. I ran out of words at that point, but obviously their intent is to retreat back to their friends, rather than fight Sir Hornet themselves.
