Sense and Sensibility and Stormtroopers (PvP)
#2
Trixie could see the smoke rising from her home minutes before they even arrived. Emergency personnel had cornered off the super structure where the massive base was located and had begun clearing out nearby building. For the most part, the fire was under control, but there were sections still giving off thick black smoke. As the dropship prepared to touch down just outside the perimeter of fire suppression vehicles Trixie leapt from the open passenger bay, hitting the ground in a full sprint. If it weren’t for her battle-scarred look and the trooper armor she was wearing Seventeen was sure she’d have been halted at the police tape.

The redhead came to a stop in front a triage station that was treating both Aisha and Terra. Nodding quickly to her Specialist, Trixie quickly turned her gaze to Corporal Terra. Knudal could visibly see that her superior was shaken and holding back a wealth of emotion.

Trixie swallowed hard and righted her jaw, “Is…is she okay?” She asked the medic re-wrapping Nova’s previous injuries.

“She’ll be fine. Just some torn stitches, scrapes, and bruises.” He replied.

Nova looked up at her noncom. Zulenka’s newly acquired youthful appearance was beautiful yet intimidating. Trixie was gorgeous. As the blond got to her feet she was enveloped in a tight hug. Trixie buried her face into her Corporal’s pony tail, tears silently streaming from her eyes. Aisha pulled rank and waived off their medical detail to give them some privacy. She placed her good hand on her noncoms shoulder before taking a walk.

“Trixie…”

“Shush.” Trixie whispered shakily as she pulled back and pressed her lips against Terra’s.

Trixie needed to know November was still with her. That she had her back. Above all else she needed validation. The mistress released the kiss and nuzzled her Corporal’s face. These emotions were new for her. Terra wrapped her arms around Trixie and sat her down.

Lifting her chin with a finger she stared into the mistress’ eyes.

“I…I love you.” Trixie fumbled over her words.

“How do you think I feel? I spent an entire year without you. Knowing you were in some unknown place where I couldn’t reach you.”

Trixie cracked a smile just as she heard boots heading her way. Nova peered over her noncoms shoulder to see the Lieutenant making her way over with Seventeen. Nova pressed her forehead to Beatrix’s and took hold of her face with her hands. Thumbing away her tears she kissed the redhead on the nose and stood up with her superior just as Skleros arrived. Taking a deep breath Zulenka turned around.

“What is it?”

Bianca bit her lip. She knew that the only reason Trixie spoke to her in such a way was because they had once shared a rank. The Sith Warrior knew, and her track record backed it up, that she could outperform her superiors all day long. However, in the interest of keeping things running she took whatever High Command threw at her.

“I’ve got another assignment. This one is down on Tier 5.” Skleros held her breath as she awaited the reply from the Staff Sergeant.

Nova placed her hand on the small of Trixie’s back. Zulenka looked past her Commanding Officer and noticed a Star Destroyer coming in for a landing off in the distance.

“If I do this you give me time off.”

“Deal.”

“And get me a Venator Class Star Destroyer.”

Bianca sighed. “You know those are hard to come by. They’ve mostly been replaced.”

Trixie stared blankly at Skleros.

“Fine. I’ll see what I can do, since I can’t have my on-call team living in the streets.” The Lieutenant sighed and handed Zulenka a data chip before walking away towards a Battalion Fire Chief.

Aisha came back just in time to hand her a data pad. Sliding the SIM card style chip into the side the screen booted up. Several Primes were displayed that had bounties on their heads. Finally, a fellow Imperial Employee by the name of Graowr popped on the screen. They were to be the point of contact. Trixie looked up at Seventeen, who she had assumed been told all of this already, and nodded.

It took five minutes for the 13th Legion to get a drop ship from the hangar over to the scene. Once it had arrived the pilot had turned it over to Trixie and Seventeen who immediately began rearming from supplied equipment. Trixie fastened her belt to her waist again and secured the Dark saber to it. Sliding her helmet on she sat down in the pilot seat and slammed the passenger doors shut.

“Hang on, Sergeant.”

Wrenching back on the controls the force user lifted the landing craft into the air and sped off toward Tier 5.
