Chara smiled as soon as they heard Vin's stomach rumble. It seemed the human was human in that respect for well. "Omnilium is currency here." Chara stated with a smile. "Simply summon a little to your hand - it should come naturally to you. Most things that you can buy cost just a little. It is the currency in every area of this world."
The young mage raised a little smile, though. It was a little surprising to see the woman show weakness such as that after their first meeting. Initially, Vin was very closed off and stoic, determined not to show vulnerability. She seemed to be coming to trust Chara enough to show herself just a little bit. Chara's smile faded as they thought about who they were dealing with, though, as she asked her next question.
"Perhaps? How would I know?" The young Dreemurr answered. Like all humans, she was still worried about the accumulation of her power. It could be just a matter of time before her LV sparked to dangerous levels, before she found the strength to play with their lives like so many others had... Chara might have given away too much information as it is, to an enemy she might have to face one day. They wouldn't make the same mistake they made with Frisk. They'd keep on guard.
As Vin asked about the primes attacking Darkshire, though, Chara shrugged and put up a hand. "I am just a kid. You would have to ask someone a bit more knowledgeable about that. I might know their names, but you can find out the details on the bounty list." They added. "As for my... uhh, mancy..." Chara added. "Like I said, I am no mancer. I simply have a few abilities I have learned. Where I am from, they would have called me a mage." Chara finally admitted. "here, such things are common, and often without the use of any magic at all. Primes and secondaries alike come from many worlds here. Some have powers you couldn't imagine." Chara added, focusing on keeping themselves calm. This human dug at him, though they had to admit that it had more to do with their race than their actions so far. Still, the actions of a human were quite able to change on a dime... he saw a frown appear on Vin's face, as though the woman was deep in thought, and Chara had to admit that at least this one was not nearly so good at concealing their intentions, though.
Chara's smile reappeared, though there was a little less friendliness to it. The human had a chance, but she would be judged, and if Chara found her lacking...
Well, that was then.
