If we do the 2v2 format how are you going to decide partners?

Randomly.

I'll write all the names on slips of papers, place them in a bowl, and then draw out names.

If the very first name is Gilgamesh, the next name I draw would be his partner. So on and so forth until the bowl is empty.

Is it possible for one partner to be eliminated while the other proceeds? Mostly in relation to inactivity and such, if one person gets a partner who stops writing.

I mean... that's the downside to doing it this way, isn't it?

As of right now, we'll go with: If a person loses because their partner just up and vanishes, that person would move into the losers bracket, get an NPC, and have to 'go it alone' in their quest to make it to the Final.

In the event of an odd number of people, the odd person out (the last name in the bowl) would be matched with an NPC.

In previous DAs, we would get random weapons to help us. Since we have access to our entire roster, would it be safe to say we're not getting Syntech equipment for this?

Brackets will be finalized right after registration closes on June 8th. You'd then have two days OOC to coordinate before the timer starts for Round 1.

Is there anyway you would be willing to amend that? In order to allow us to roleplay interaction with our partners during the preshow instead? Pretty please?

Regarding NPC prime participation, will they be able to earn artefacts and if so I'm assuming you cant just have them transfer them to your prime can you?

You'd assume correctly. In the event that an NPC prime ranks in the top 3 and gets an artefact, and be subject to all the rules revolving around artefacts as if it were a prime. Has to be a trade-off for those people who are not sending their account prime.

Can we choose to have an NPC Prime be our partner? Like if Trixie wanted to take Nova and tag team with her?

Will damage factor from fight to fight, and if so, will it reflect our chances of surviving the next fight? If so, is Regeneration able to heal these wounds?

...if you actually join and wind up being the odd one, sure, you can volunteer to be the odd-man out.

Damage and SP are restored between rounds.
