Wouldn't my chainsaw be loud enough to alert most of the soldiers if I tried to make an entrance and am I also getting a vibe that we may try to do this in a stealth manner?

In case people didn't get it yes it would be loud I meant for it to be loud so that it would draw attention away from the main entrance.

But if people prefer Celestia's plan that is fine.Ill post later on today if people are happy with that.

In theory it could be done stealthily, but I'm not sure all of us have stealthy combat options. I shoot fire for example, so there's not a whole lot I can do while trying to keep a low profile. So, I don't think this group can do stealthy unless we're willing to have some people sit the battle out, which carries its own set of risks. I'm also not sure we'd want to leave a large number enemies behind us, as they might prove a hazard on the way out, that would present its own hazard.
I would be happy to discuss stealth as an option, but as things stand I'm not sure it's the best approach for us.

To be fair, my plan is fairly loud as well. My thinking was that, if we only get one surprise action before the whole town notices our presence, we should spent that removing the forward guards from play.

I agree stealth is not an option we have too many loud people.
That is why I suggested Yu Kanda Chara and I attack the front.
But if this is the plan you guys prefer I'll make that post.

So the current plan is just to cause absolute chaos? (guessing as long as were in the base verse we still have all our abilitys) this should not be a problem due to my shield and glitching.

In general I agree with the idea of splitting up enemy force as much as possible and fighting them piecemeal.
I feel like cutting down a part of the wall would draw too much attention however, and that we would lose the element of surprise. Flying or teleporting over the wall might still get some attention earlier than we'd like, but it would be less than knocking down a part of the palisade.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the squad guarding the gate is a cut above the other minions in the area, and if so the worst thing that could happen is that squad being able to regroup with the rest of them.
My thought was, two or three people who have the requisite abilities jump the wall, then everyone else joins the frontal attack. The two groups attack as close to the same time as they can manage, which should allow the wall group to catch them from the side.
After that, my thought was to push into the ruins, and try to use the terrain there to draw our enemies into bottlenecks, and thus limit their ability to leverage numbers against us. - Celestia

I am going to start planning my second post nowish if anybody has any suggestions again that is fine. I do not however intend for us to charge in straight away, I wanna try a bit of ranged combat at the entrance before doing so. I hope we can get this completed.

I'll give a head's up here as well. I'm going to try to make a second post tomorrow, addressing my part in the battle after we've dealt with the gate guards. I plan to keep it a bit vague again, to allow freedom for people to play around it.
