Doom's Dimension
#1
Rain dropped from the ebony sky, the bitter tears of the gods pelting Doom's armored body with a vengeance. Panting hard, Victor pulled himself up from his castle floor, raising his metal-clad hands to summon energy from the stolen powers of the god Odin. Resonating with immensely powerful energy, his hands began to glow; greenish flames flickered and sparked off of them as he raised them to the heavens, only then turning his burning gaze toward his enemies.

"Fools! You have accomplished nothing," Doom said, his voice resounding off the stone walls with such power that it seemed to rival even the steady roaring of the thunderclouds high overhead. His hands were poised for the finishing blow to at last wipe those intolerable heroes off the face of the planet when, suddenly, like the flame of a candle blown out by a simple breath, the power that had been coursing through his very being vanished.

"DOOM!" A deep voice boomed from up above. Frantically, Doctor Doom’s eyes scanned the clouds through the pouring rain, squinting against the occasional fork of lightning flashing across the sky.

"Odin! You can't be free!" he exclaimed, looking around in a panic.

"Your wretched scheme is undone and your black soul is mine."

Doom jerked his head up to the sky and glared, his fists raised in defiance.

"NOOO!"

A blue bolt of lightning struck Doom, leaving only smoke and the imprint of his mask emblazoned onto the ground.

"An eternity of suffering is the fate of those who challenge the gods."

-

Doom picked himself off the ground, awakening to realize the he was no longer in his castle or in Asgard. Looking around, he realized that he was floating, limbs listless and trailing against empty space, in a sort of void. A dark pit of nothing… was this to be Doom's eternal suffering? To be stuck forever in an endless expanse of absolute stillness, to never see his mortal kind again, to be in a silent hell forever? Doctor Doom took a few steps and studied the void of blackness, discerning that his attempts to walk were meaningless when trapped in a plane of nonexistence.

"Odin! I will be free; you will not be able to stop me from my return as I am DOCTOR DOOM!"

It was strange, for his words did not seem to carry very far within the pocket of unreality he was contained in. Not even echoes answered him. It was almost as if they hadn’t been spoken at all.

Victor shot his head back to the sound of energy discharging. Folding his arms, Doom analyzed the large figure that stood before him. The being was large with pure white skin and an unsettling smile. Doom found himself unable to speak, but how could that be? It was no easy task to control the great and powerful Doom, but the real question was, who was this being?

The strange entity began to speak.

“My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.”

Doom was troubled by the way this Omni spoke to him, as if he were a mere child and unfamiliar with the subtle patterns of the cosmos. Bah, Doom is no one’s toy— unhand me from this pity hold!

Before Doom could do anything,— if he could have done anything, anyway— Omni placed a colorful orb into his gloved hands. The orb glimmered with all the colors of the rainbow, vibrant greens, purples, yellows, reds and blues palpitating within.

What is this? Doom examined the orb in his hands with great distaste. A cheap orb intended for measly parlor tricks, no doubt.

But, Omni was not finished with his explanation. “This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most.”

Fool, you have ensured your own undoing in transporting me here! But, I must admit that you have interested me. Are there others in your plane of existence such as me, brought outside of their own free will?

The being did not acknowledge or seem to have heard his words, but answered his question nonetheless. “You will not be alone in the Omniverse. There are others. Of course, they, too desire Omnilium. Do not fear death. For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn."

Hah! Doom did not fear death even before being brought to this… Omniverse.

“That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough. I’ll be watching … and waiting.”

Indeed, we shall meet again, for you have invited the wrath of DOCTOR DOOM!

Before Doom could do anything else, his vision was overcome by total blackness. The smiling entity vanished from his sight, and the feeling of falling chased him down into the dark.

Doctor Doom gasped awake, pulling himself to his metal clad feet. His eyes widened and his brow folded beneath the eye slits of his metal mask before what stood in front of him, it was an impressive feat to have the all powerful Doom ensnared in a trap, but a foolish one at best, for the wrath of Doctor Doom is not a kind one. The indestructible sovereign ruler of Latveria had been standing in between a fountain, which seemed to have a what would be a bronze statue constructed to look like him self and a white plan of nonexistence. It was just as the void he was in earlier only in contrast Doom's feet were firmly to the ground and the black emptiness was replace with a white emptiness. Victor raised his metal-clad right hand to the air and looked to the pure white sky.

"Curse you! Omni! You and Odin will pay dearly for you insolence to Doom!" His voice echoed threw the nexus of white, with no surprise there was reply to be heard in the Abysmal void.

As science would prove it invalid a gust of wind flew past Doom making his green cloak to flail in the air. Doom clinched both of his gloved hands and took a few steps before tuning back to the fountain and the near perfect statue of himself. How dare the pretending god mock his very presence.

"And you dare mock Doom with his own appearance!" He said bringing his right arm to his chest, drawing yellowish mystical energy that formed around his hand. Aiming his charged right metal-clad hand to the statue. A blast of burning mystical yellow energy smash in the bronze model of himself. Instantly the statue exploded into fire forcing metal pieces to crumble tumbling down into the fountain and white ground.

Doctor Doom stormed off from the once repulsive site and went further deep into the void. The lord of Latveria stopped instantly once he was able to see that there were objects far off in the distance of the barren waste land. A most curious site indeed, perhaps Doom was not swindled into another void and cursed to be forever alone in a white slat. This did not please Doom, however, fore Doom is no ones prisoner or play thing, Omni will not so easily escape the all powerful Doom's wrath.

The objects in the far distance closely resembled  what would be gates, but from his distance they could have been something very different entirely. Doom was sure that the objects were gates and nothing else, fore Doom dose not make mistakes. A surge of curiosity hit Victor with the thought of the gates and he began to ponder of the thought of them.

There could be many possibilities of what these gates could hold in them. Yes the possibilities are endless such as the multiverses is fore the gate could hold grand cites to pitiful waste lands such as the nexus of white, my dimensional prison shall not hold for long. No! before I depart Doom shall know and be prepared for what lives in these verses. So Doom shall wait here in possibility of learning the weaknesses of Omni fore he shall know terror by the hands of DOCTOR DOOM!

Doom paced back and fourth on the white tile of the Nexus, his cloak whipped side to side and metal feet kicked up dust each time he spun repeating his cycle. The wait for a another person was growing tiresome and it would be unwise to explore the endless possibilities that the gates in the far distance held in them. Nevertheless Doom was growing bored of the waiting game, surely another mockery against the immortal Doctor Doom. Omni's bitter defeat was going to have to wait until  Doom gained clarity of what exactly is the Omniveres.

Where to start in learning more of what this Omniveres is, maybe the answer lies in my cloaks pocket or it is behind the gates laid before Doom. What ever it may be, if I were to chose the gates the most logical one to go to would be the one laid in front on me. Yes, Doom  shall depart of the pitiful, useful, worthless excuse of a Nexus, but first. Doom must know exactly how the bauble in my cloak pocket works, there is no doubt that it my hold secrets that may be needed in the near future.

Shuffling threw his pocket Doom pulled the glowing orb that the god handed him in what seemed moments ago. Not like it could have changed, the orb still had it vibrant colors that mixed and matched with all the colors of the spectrum of light. Doctor Doom took the glimmering sphere by his right hand and raised it to the eye level of his metal mask, humming with power. The bright shining colors forced Doom to squint his eyes as he analyzed every detail of its spherical body, looking for any flaw that could have been on it.

As much as it distastes me to even think of this object that this ungrateful Omni has created may have more use then it seems. The fool has given me the tool to create anything that I will, this surly marks him as a childish fool unfit to be a god. Doom dose not respect those who do not use their power properly, entertainment is only for the mere child. Alas he will get what comes to him, but now is not the time for scheming his usurping now is the time to test his "gift ".

Doom pointed the orb to a random area of the empty white plane he began to focus his mystical energy into the orb.

"I Victor Von Doom implore you object of spawning, to bring forth for you to bring death to the one called Omni and the transferal of his powers to me."

The glimmering sphere hummed with energy and glowed brighter. For a few seconds it looked as if it was going to what he said, the humming stopped and colors grew back to its normal state.

Bah, if you can not kill for then what can you do for me? Spawn objects?

This time Victor held his left hand out and aimed the orb toward toward it.

"Doom commands you took make me the finest glass of latverian wine!"

Again humming with energy the sphere grew brighter, the only difference this time was that Doom focused more on what he wanted as the object began to work. with in a few seconds a rich opulent looking goblet with fine reddish wine filled to its top morphed into Doom's metal-clad left hand. Taking a sip of his wine Doom lost himself in his thoughts.

Enthralling, most indeed. This object will definitely come to use in my need for the ever moving future. Now that I have indulged myself with the orbs clockworks, it is time for my great departure of this realm fore there are surly more extravagant things behind those gates then this distasteful excuse of a nexus.

Finishing off his goblet of wine, he tossed it aside and started his departure of the white nexus, heading off to the gate that laid before him. Shuffling his metal feet and flicking his came in his every step, trying to keep his look of power.

Approaching his destination, Victor stopped to analyze the gate in both its beauty and for its structure. The magnificent gate had black rock almost as if it were brimstone, smoke and heat radiated from it.

intriguing, this gate or shall I say portal looks as if it belongs in Mephisto's realm. Shall there be demons in this plane they will quickly know Doom is a force to reckoned with, but I am wasting time here squabbling over pity thoughts. Doom shall inter this realm and all will know my power!

putting his hand over his metal face to protect his eyes, the gates temperature grew with every closing moment, his green cloak flapped from its wind from every step. With one finale push Doctor Doom phased into the new realm.
