I'm not sure how I feel about this card flipping thing. It's up for debate. My main issue is that in a traditonal tcg cards usually have 'blank' backs to keep their ID a secret, so having a powered up form on their back would pretty much screw that element.
I think it would make more sense to have something along the lines of 'search your deck for so-and-so's powered form then shuffle' or something like that.

Those uh...pretty much look good to go Vision, though I might make the Venue a scooch pricier. Color me impressed. Originally I was only going to add Descriptor Titles to secondaries but doing It for Primes could work too.

Taking pre-switch-shenaniganery Somerled and Sonny for this.
Somerled:
Level 3 Prime
Unique Effect - Two Bodies, One Mind: You may summon this card on either side. If Somerled would be killed, you may instead flip this card over once.
Survivability
“Fall to this unyielding force of nature”
5/1/2/3
Flipside
Sonny:
Level 3 Prime
Unique Effect - Two Bodies, One Mind: You may summon this card on either side. If Sonny would be killed, you may instead flip this card over once.
Shielder
“The light of the sun shines on all”
5/5/1/0
And Okuu!
Utsuho Reiuji:
Prime Level 3
Unique Effect - Uncontainable Nuclear Reaction: For every other turn that Utsuho survives while summoned, she gains +1 to attack.
Nuclear Excursion: Utsuho may choose to transfer half of her points in speed to attack for the duration of a fight.
“My ultimate nuclear fusion will burn up every body, heart, phantom, and fairy!”
5/2/4/0
Okuu should probably be a higher level just because of her sheer power output but I wasn't sure if we were going by current levels or what :V

Only thing about Descriptir titles is we shouldn't have "Destroy target Undead" or whatever since we don't do that here. So it would have to strictly be Factions and maybe Physical/Ranged.
I see no specification on how Verses work so here is my proposal. All Plot Cards have a Verse Effect; this decides what Verse the story is in. Sometimes, a Plot Card may have different ways of deciding it, like "Flip a Coin" or "Whenever this card is fulfilled, switch to this Verse" or whatever. Venues may be played at any time but it's Effect only happens when it's in the correct Verse.
Anyways here comes more...
The Fountain
Neutral (All Verses) Venue - 8 OM
At the end of your turn, put all cards that went to either Nexus into your hand. Then shuffle the Fountain into your Nexus.
Banishing Circle
Event
When target card is sent to the Nexus, send it instead to the Underverse.
DeathwingDiablo
Level 10 Prime
Special Effect: Rage of Diablo - When played, destroy all Primes you control.
Power: Banisher
Retane
Level 6 Prime
3/1/3/3
Special Effect: Retane can engage in as many fights as Retane wants per turn at the cost of 1 SP per fight.
Heritage Effect (these are only given to cards that represent a famous or in this case infamous moment in Omniverse history): when Retane is put out of play, literally rip this card in half send Retane to the Underverse. It cannot be recovered by any means.
Power: Burst Movement
Odd hours. Call for appointment.

Another's suggestion! Tokens, which contribute no SP. these are the nameless extras we slaughter, or the ones who give us important intel and disappear forever, ex) Stormtroopers. Therefore, no SP, no OM, only created from Effects. They do 1 damage each and you may group as many of them in any Combat, but they only last for one fight.

I love the idea of various verses giving out different effects.
Mtg has something like this and could probably help develope such things. Wouldn't hurt to take a looksie at the grandaddy of tcg's
Also I friggin love token strategies in most tcg's that support them. Magic, yugioh.. whatever. It feels good making a ton of little insignificant dewds only to pump them all up with an overarching effect.
Example:
Example:
"Mine eyes hath seen the glory of the presence of my Lord. He is sifting through the treasures in which his Gates of Wrath does store. He lets loose the righteous vengeance of his terrible swift swords. Gilgemesh has returned!"

Desman Black
Prime
Unique Effect-A.N.N.A's Avenger: When this card is to be destroyed, discard one card from your hand instead. This card is now "linked" to the card that was to destroy it. This card can only attack the linked card and Must attack once per turn. If any other card attacks this card, they are automatically destroyed. When the linked card is destroyed or bansished, this card send to the nexus. This card gains +2 atk when Battling the linked card.
Enhanced Senses
3/4/1/2
The reasoning behind the Unique effect is a plot point I have yet to do yet where someone kill A.N.N.A but let's Des over here live, and he mentally snaps. As for why I didn't do the levels, I didn't understand tnem so I didn't try. Also as the Dark data event comes together, planning to make a plot card on that. Oh, and someone needs to do an O'Harmony card too.

Thoughts:
Originally my intent for Prime combat was along MtG rules, where health resets at the end of a fight. People seem interested in tracking HP damage though. I'm open to this, my personal preference is just to have to maintain a minimum of record-keeping. Having accumulated damage would also make them MUCH easier to kill, which would be bad for gameplay.
Card Flipping: Double cards would make sense, I can work with that. Miranda we'll have to talk about your actual powers later though.
Hiro designed some things called character cards? Initially I was thinking that Primes and Secondaries were both subsets of what were called Character Cards, but this whole 'Play a random person to gain some temporary OM budget' idea intrigues me. Maybe we could call them Walk-Ons? There should be some limits on playing them, however.
And, we dream of home I dream of life out of here Their dreams are small My dreams don't know fear I got my heart full of hope I will change everything No matter what I'm told How impossible it seems We did it before And we'll do it again We're indestructible Even when we're tired And we've been here before Just you and I

More Thoughts/Assessments:
Papyrus, your new stuff looks pretty good. Might get retouched later once the rules are more finalized.
I agree about Character descriptors, we should limit them to factions, though taking this into consideration I'll have to edit my Death Mountain card slightly, as it revolves around cards of specific 'races'.
One note on designing Venue cards: Venues that provide nice bonuses to characters on them should generally be more expensive. The alternative is making very very cheap Venue cards that have detrimental effects. In terms of balancing, this makes the Flight prime power actually relevant. Also, while we're talking about Setting cards, the reason I originally didn't make rules about segregating Venue cards based on Verse was it just seemed like a little too much specification for a relatively small amount of game-intricacy.
That's why I have Venue cards specify which verses they were a part of, because ultimately, while writing on the site does take place in specific verses, the actual specific location those stories take place in are more important. In terms of game design, this allows for slightly more open ended gameplay while still allowing the Verses to have a degree of importance, as seen in the 'Native' secondary power. To take a reference from MtG, that game doesn't, say, limit your ability to have as many different Land cards in your Mana pool as you want just because you're canonically on a certain Plane. As always though this is open for discussion.
Also, for really big mama-jama super-primes like Diablo, I was planning on their Lvl being something like 15 or 18, allowing them to be ridiculous in terms of gameplay, but unable to be used under unchanged game rules.
Note on Character Cards: Prime levels in this game don't need to adhere to your status in the Omniverse; in fact, levels are much more relevant here than they are there. For example, a Prime who has a high level might suck tactically, but the mere fact that they allow you to instantly have a pretty high OM Budget is worth considering in and of itself. Meanwhile, even though some cards may kick absolute assage in combat, they might be worth nothing for a budget. Play with it!
Hiro and I discussed some rules on Events and the new Assist cards, so check that out in the rules.
Somerled, your cards look okay, assuming we still will have double cards that can flip in the final game. It's tentative at the moment.
Desman and Yuuki, your cards look okay too. Desman, you should consider trimming up the verbiage in your your unique effect though; that might get cramped on a card.
Tokens could work. I'll need to run some scenarios in my head.
And, we dream of home I dream of life out of here Their dreams are small My dreams don't know fear I got my heart full of hope I will change everything No matter what I'm told How impossible it seems We did it before And we'll do it again We're indestructible Even when we're tired And we've been here before Just you and I

@Tearen, I'm not really sure how to trim the card's effect, and if it does end up two big for the finished card, just shirk the text, that's what all other card games do anyway. ?.

I agree that health should reset at the end of each fight. First of all, that's how it's done in the Omniverse (technically health carries over but i can't think of an instance when someone didn't have time to recover after a fight. Minus Sasuke.)
Ooh that's a good point about venues. So what exactly is the function of Setting cards? Venues feel like Setting cards in itself.
Mooooar ideas! (Sorry if I'm swamping up the thread)
Literally a Giant Pit of Lava
Ashen Steppes Venue - 4 OM
Only Primes may fight. All combatants start with 1 less health.
Group Writing Bonus
Event
If you control more than one Prime, gain 1 OM for this turn only.
Exemplary Writing Bonus
Event
If you won a Plot Card this round, put a counter on a Prime. The controller of that Prime gains 1 OM.
Curse of the High Tide
Plot Card - 1 SP
Put a counter on a random Prime you control. Every time that Prime enters a Combat, flip a coin. Heads, keep the counter, Tails, pass it onto a Prime of your choice. At the beginning of your sixth turn, give whoever does not control the counter the SP reward and send the Prime that has the counter to the Nexus.
And for old times...
Dr. McNinja
Level 3 Prime - Ambrosia
Power: Master Acrobat
Special Effect: BASE! - Dr. McNinja can attack the same turn he is played.
"Was also a ninja"

This appears to have been confusing people for a while now:
In my original post I have things called Character Cards, Setting Cards and Plot Cards. These in and of themselves are not actual card types, but categories. Prime, Secondary, and Assist cards are all Character Cards. Venues and Artefacts are Setting Cards. Plot and Event Cards are Story Cards.
And, we dream of home I dream of life out of here Their dreams are small My dreams don't know fear I got my heart full of hope I will change everything No matter what I'm told How impossible it seems We did it before And we'll do it again We're indestructible Even when we're tired And we've been here before Just you and I
