The Ancient One is a really neat and unique idea, and you're one of the few I think can pull something like that off long term. That's probably my vote. Tamsin is another strong contender, just because I'm a pretty firm believer that if you have history with a character and enjoyed them enough to consider coming back to them years later, there's something pretty good there. Either one of them.

But that said, I don't have any experience with any of these source materials.

Thanks to your assistance, I was finally able to come to a decision. I will be posting a joining application within the next few days.

That said, the characters that weren't selected aren't going to be merely discarded. At least one of them will be turned into a Prime NPC, while the rest will be considered as potential replacements for Dark Link, though I wish to write as Dark Link a bit more before I decide if that is the route I wish to take.

I sincerely thank everyone who shared their thoughts and opinions. The results were very interesting (and somewhat unexpected) and I found the additional insight some of you offered to be invaluable.
