Eclipsed Hope (Saint Walker)

The architecture of the verse they were in was not something Warren could say he had even seen. It looked like something from the era of Knights, and Magic.  Of course Warren could hardly be surprised. In myth,  Camelot was the home of Knights,  mages and many others similar to them including dragons.  If there was a dragon here Warren was going to collect an egg and raise the dragon to be his loyal minion.   Going over to where Saint Walker had parked the vehicle,  Warren would close his eyes.  Grunting with exertion,  he’d put a hand out and slowly the motorcycle like vehicle would start to break apart into a tiny orb about the size of a Tennis Ball that was made out of Omnilium.  Holding out his hand,  the orb would fly into it where he’d promptly absorb the Omnilium into himself.    "This is what you do with items when you are finished with them,  Saint Walker. You absorb the Omnilium back into yourself.  It may take some effort."  It had taken Warren roughly five minutes to do that to the vehicle,  which was now gone.   "Omnilium is capable of a lot.  But in the mean time,  I digress. We're lucky we didn't have a crash. Sure my Regeneration abilities could have helped have me right as rain in a while,  but who'd want to wait that long?"

"Interesting. So it is like reverse summoning?" Walker made a mental note of this. Perhaps he could do this to anything? That would be useful for gaining more Omnillium. Hopefully in this new world, they would have a form of magic, his healing appeared to be weaker than it used to be, perhaps he could combine this Magic with his Ring and make it more powerful? This would greatly aid in Walker's endeavors.

"Yes.  You have it in one.  It is indeed a kind of reverse summoning."    

Warren was smiling beneath his helmet.  Saint Walker would be useful to him.  Saint Walker was already more useful than Ricky.   For Saint Walker had managed to get him to an area where he needed to be.  There was a lot of work that Warren had to do.  Here he could learn magic and combine it with his science in order to prepare himself. Those damn clones.   Every last one of them would burn in the inferno that was his rage for the crimes they had done to him. Forcing him to clean vehicles? Fine. But when they beat him up while doing so and sabotaged his experiments? He was bound to get more than a little tense presently. 

"So which way shall we go from here?"

"Well, if magic does exist in this world, we could go to the government to see if they have mages that could train us. It would work well, and we would gain credentials with the local law enforcement. What do you think?" Walker said. This would work well. He began walking through the gate, to see if the locals knew anything.

Following him on foot Warren eyed him. "I think we should stay away from any military jobs.  Although... one day having those connections might actually come in handy."  Especially for his long term plans that involved taking control of Coruscant.  For that he'd need more villains who were willing for the most part to obey him and do what needed to be done. The fact that Coruscant employed those bastards irked Warren. Who had ever given the Emperor the idea of clones needed to be hung and then shot.  No that would be too good for him.  Most forms of death would be too good for the Emperor and his loyalists.  Warren would have to get creative with this one.  "We're gonna need to find someone either way as I cannot remain so laughably weak. Right now,  I'm pathetic." 

Warren continued to follow him even if he was on edge. Military groups worried him because they reminded him of the Guardians of his world. A group Warren would never be worthy of,  never good enough to make his father happy.  It was one of the reasons he'd decided that the darker path was the one he needed to choose and walk on.  There was more than one path for him.  Hope may not be the only path,  because there were other ways to power he could use to get what he needed.

"Of course. These connections would help keep us from getting in trouble, not to mention getting respect among the locals. This magic would help you become stronger, as would these possible government connections, if we were connected, they would train you. Now, let's see if the locals would be able to help." Walker began to walk over to a citizen, beckoning Warren to follow.
"Excuse me sir, do you know where one would learn about magic around here?" 
"Up there. Them is the magic dogs of the militry, they just sit rond up thr and do nothin. They aint use to noone."
The man pointed up to Durlan, the floating island above the city.
"Well Warren," Walker said before looking up to the city "I found our mages."

Looking up when Saint Walker pointed,   Warren scowled.  It was times like this he wished he had a spacecraft or jetpack or some other means of aerial propulsion. But given he didn't... getting up there would be rather difficult. "Just one small problem. I assume you can't fly... well neither can I. Getting up there is going to be a problem for the both of us. "   Warren resisted the urge to snap the man's neck.  Allying with the Military was not something he wanted to do normally but given he needed mentoring in magic that he could use,   Warren decided it was a vital evil for NOW.  After all,  he'd break out of the shackles of the government when he was truly ready actually. "So how shall we get up there? Flying is out... and I don't have a grapple gun that could allow us to reach that height.  Teleportation is out... and I can't climb that high. There's no staircase."

"Well, I have an idea. I summoned that land vehicle before right? So now, I will summon a flying vehicle, a jet. It should work." Walker said. He then focused, drawing energy and Omnillium from his surroundings, channeling his hope, and then focused for several minutes, surrounded by a blue energy. Once he was finished, there was a small 2 seat jet, white with a Blue Energy ball in the back powering it. There were blue lines going around the side, manifesting in the back in the ball. 
"I believe," Walker turned to look at Warren "This should work."

"Note to self,  remember to learn how to summon vehicles at some point in the same speed you can..."   Warren smiled as he climbed into the passenger seat. At least it was not his Omnilium he was wasting like this. Sure it wasn't much of a waste but after the Fortress making and the cleaning before that Warren had to admit he was more than a little tired.  But he couldn't sleep... not yet anyway.  There was much to be done and he was the only person who could get it done.  "Yes it should. Let's go up there and get started."

"I'm quite flattered, I was unaware that this summoning was fast." Walker said before climbing in. He flipped several switches, and the top closed.  "So, what kind of magic do you plan to use?" He said, before taking off and beginning the flight to the floating city.

Warren smirked and said to him. "Why every destructive spell there is.  THAT should prove to be enough to teach those assholes at Coruscant a thing or two about manners and decency,  and how when someone is being forced to clean your vehicles, you don't wail on him or throw grime onto the vehicles...."   Warren groaned as he thought about that particular thing.   "One day I'll be strong enough and then I'll go back there and every last one of the clones on that forsaken rock will face MY justice."

"Brother, you must learn to forgive. They are not all like this, a few bad people do not make a whole organization like this. You must learn how to bring peace. You must, learn, to forgive." Walker said. This man was already down the path to darkness, he must lead him away from this.

"Peace? You want to talk about PEACE?  How about how they so UN-peacefully barged into a place that I'd made a temporary home... smashed up everything I'd been working on,  and then had the gall to put me under arrest?"    Warren said this angrily as his Omnilium would activate and show a video of each of the events near Saint Walker.  "And when I took one of them as a hostage to make them bring me the supplies needed to rebuild the prototype as I couldn't even summon my sword at that point,  they brought greater numbers... and well... I was forced to clean for 24 hours without a break,  and beaten while doing it.  In addition several of them threw filth and grime onto the vehicles I cleaned. You can imagine it would be rather hard for me to simply forgive them after that.  And you may be right,  if none of the other clones show the same level of arrogance."

"These people.... brother, we must show them the error of their ways. We cannot harbor anger, that will only lead to fear, and, in the big picture.... pain. You must forgive them, show them how to improve, and you must help them to better themselves. It will relieve you of the pain you feel." Walker said. This man..... he is truly joining with the darkness. He refused to listen to Walker's reason.... he must be redeemed. He must, learn, to forgive. With a man harboring anger, that will only lead to reject, and pain. He must learn to better himself.

The words of Saint Walker did make some sense. Fighting when he was angry would lead to him underestimating his opponent.  He could not afford any mishaps this time. Learning magic was but step one on his journey to get to the levels where he needed to be.  If he were to survive what he had planned later including learning the arts of magic,  he'd need to be calm. So he took a deep breath and calmed down.  "I've managed to calm myself... for now."   Warren had indeed calmed himself for now,  but only by promising himself mentally that the clones would pay for their mistakes later.  "So how long until we arrive?"

"It appears, to be about an hour before we reach the top. So, how do you plan to convince these mages to teach us?

"Sometimes the simple solutions are often the best.  I'll tell them I need them to teach me so that I can protect my home.  It's the truth."  It was also part of the truth that Warren would hunt down the clones later on and make them suffer discipline once he gathered a crew of those with like minds. Sure he may not be an established villain here yet but he knew if he were to gather enough villains he could be a formidable force. There had to be some sort of society or organization of the villains that he could later join up with and use to further his future.  "So what about you? Why do you want them to train you so bad? You've got that ring... which is more powerful than anything I have on my person."

"My ring.... when I came to this "Omniverse" my powers were limited, I must learn Magic to try to help enhance it so that it becomes up to par." Walker said. It was true, he only had a fraction of his past abilities. Of course this magic may not help with unlocking the hidden powers, but it was worth a shot. So of course he had to try it. He must become stronger, to help spread Hope.

So the abilities of Saint Walker were limited. This meant it would do Warren little good to study his ring. What he needed was a ring that was at full capacity which meant he'd have to wait for Saint Walker to gain back his full potential before he could study the ring.  How he hated delays. But a delay in this case could allow him to learn more about the power of well the power rings.   "So the capabilities of your ring are limited. I see. Maybe you're right and the clones can be redeemed. We'll see if THEY treat you in a similar fashion when you try to build a lightsaber for yourself there."

"Well then.... it appears we are here. Let's try to get these people to teach us." Walker said, before jumping out. Once Warren came out, he turned the Jet into a ball of Omnillium, before absorbing it and preparing to walk in and make his case.
