The Court case of Bonbon vs Guu (Interest/Discussion)

I was thinking in the next month or so, Bonbon will take Guu to a public court, involving a judge and everything. Her intent is to prove to the Omniverse that the pink enigma took Berry Blitzkrieg land illawfully. If she can prove that, she'd have grounds to put a bounty on Guu which would be a big deal considering the price that's already going to be on her head.

I want a separate player to play the judge, particularly one that'll be impartial and one that is not currently working for either Camelot or the Empire. Different people can play the lawyers if they like, (looking at Phoenix as an option here.)

So, despite the risk to my own character, what do you guys think of this kind of plotline?

A very interesting and novel concept. In a way, this represents a bigger conundrum for Bonbon than it does for Guu. Right now, there is no officially-sanctioned body/court that would have the authority to hear this kind of case and make a judgment. With Bonbon being a Camelot representative and Guu being the de facto ruler of Ambrosia, this technically makes it a legal dispute between factions/states rather than merely individuals. And right now, there is very little cooperation between factions beyond direct diplomacy (though props to Carmelita for trying to establish the Omniverse version of a supranational police force).

Not to say that Bonbon wouldn't be able to put in the footwork to help in the creation of a court, at least a temporary one, that would have legal power to hear this case. But it'll certainly require quite a bit of work on her part to make it happen.

I'm very curious to see how this will play out.

This is honestly the kind of role I would love the Sage to start filling in the Omniverse. I don't think he has any sort of renown to do that for this particular case (gotta get involved in some events) but I would definitely be interesting in helping out with this in some way or another!

I'm second'ing Sarah, I can play as the Judge (an NPC, not one of my characters!) or either of the lawyers if needed! Moreso leaning towards the Judge as I don't believe that I would have sufficient information to understand the case as Bonbon's or Guu's lawyer, but I think I could fill the judge role well.
