A reason for a break.

I listed earliee this morning that I wouldn't be posting IC for awhile because something is troubling my mind greatly. Well, I feel comfortable enough to tell the Omniverse that I have been debating whether or not to have surgery to have my sex change to female. I have already given it weeks of thought but havent decided yet. This is why I wont be posting though just to inform you guys..

Yo, I don't know very much about you, but I hope the best for you! Take all the time you need, the Omniverse ain't going nowhere and real life stuff is more important, especially as important of a decision as this. Good luck with your future endeavors, and I hope everything works out for you!

I'm guessing with your time of debate you've probably informed yourself far better than I. Nonetheless I'll put forward my thoughts in case they're at all helpful.

Sex reassignment surgery is not simple, neither will it ever give you a "real" vagina. You will have to regularly 'dilate' for the rest of your life to maintain depth etc as your body will constantly be trying to heal what it sees as a wound. For many people it's worth it because of the deep disgust they feel for their own body. But honestly, if I were in the position and I had any other option, I would try to find a way to best deal with the body I had without resorting to traumatic and risky surgery.

There are lots of videos on the topic from people who've been through it. A while back I watched a lot of these due to curiosity. I have a friend who's transgender and I wanted to better educate myself about it.

I'm not saying you shouldn't do it. But even those who've been through it say that it should be an absolute last resort. So take a long time to consider it before you pull the trigger.

Also I realise now I said some pretty damn mean things on Discord jokingly saying that you didn't sound like a Condom Fox in reference to the girly avatar I'd given you. I sort of realised afterwards but I'm sorry again because it's not the nicest thing to say to someone suffering from any form of gender dysphoria.

Thank you all for your support. What I'm most worried about is the cost. I don't have to kind of money to go through with something like that if I choose to actually get it done.

To all my friends, I have returned! After about two months of having this on my mind I believe my path is clear. I wish to follow through with Sex Reassignment Surgery. Things will be different for me, but I'd rather feel comfortable in my own skin more than anything. Thanks to everyone who has supported me in this. ^-^
