Been a long time coming

Hey. Saying hi to all the members.

Some of you may remember me.

I was Gokua/Aero on Chubbs. Most known for finishing 3rd in Dantes Abyss 07, and being robbed in a tournament fight against that annoying guy that played a custom Namekian. lol

Or you could remember me from AD, where I played a slew of characters, but most known for my work as Deadpool.

And a small few of you may remember me by name, and even have me as a friend on a social media site.

Its me! Baron! lol


I hope everyone excuses my terrible writing for at least a few months, as Im still rusty and need to get into a groove. God, whats it been? 5 years? Glad to be back writing though. And glad to be around people that I know (some of) and comfortable with.

Nah. I lost all of my sigs and avatars. Cant remember my photo bucket lol.

I don't even have photoshop anymore. I have to find some way to get it.

Yo! Didn't even realise it was you. I'm glad to say we're a healthy mix of both fresh and familiar faces. Though I have no idea how everybody's been finding the site, I've done 0 advertising the past few months :pac: Google does seem to have decided to rank us higher in the interim though, Omni knows why (actually, I don't)

Wonderful to see you again, Baron. It's always nice to see a familiar face. But you placed third in DA 2008, not 2007 #unofficialchubbshistorian

@Proto: Yeah, I realized that when I visited Chubbs not too long ago.


And hey, you found something in that battle that made you sway towards the Namek. I would be lying if I didn't think I was 10x the writer Retane was though. lol


I also remember getting into a really good battle against the old Mino on there, when he had his Custom Character. That was probably the best writer i've had to go against. Barely lost that one.

I tried to find that thread to re-read it, but it's gone. Where you Gokua or Aero at the time? I don't think I ever really connected with your writing until you swapped.

My "son of a bitch" moment was always DA08 for more than a few reasons <_<

I might have been Gokua. Not entirely sure.

I guess you liked my writing as Aero more lol. I made Aero have a lot more personality than Gokua.

I survived DA08 by surrounding myself with people who were close to my level of skill, but slightly lower. That way they would easily accept me as their leader. My real genius in DA08 was the movement and actions that i made throughout the saga. My writing was more of a compliment to that,
