"Wow, sounds amazing," I said. Now on the outside I looked somewhat cool, but on the inside..... I'M FLIPPING OUT OH MY GOD!!!!!!!! "Hmm? What tree?" I ask. I'm still freaking out on the inside by the way

"Ygradsil, the World Tree, not to be mistaken by the one in the Tangled Green. Ygardsil was huge, like a castle stacked on top of two other castles, and was hollow yet alive. Maintained by Hecate and Hizpoltiluchi. They both protected the People of the Tree."

"Wow, must of been breathtaking to see in person, huh?" I ask, genuinely wanting for information about her home and its history, especially its history.

"Yep especially when the People of the Tree came in Vinamas and gliders to help us in the city over throw the Dark Elders.", she keeps on walking, "My brother and I were scared, because of TH Anpu guards, then this lady with red hair started to comfort us"

I smile slightly, 'Kinda reminds me of what Tsunami would do when we were kids, whenever I was scared or was having a panic attack or something, she'd alway be there to comfort me....' I thought sadly, my smile fading away.

Maelyss stops "Is something wrong Shadow?", she asks kindly and genuinely. She looks up at the tall draconian boy, searching his face for any clue of what might be bothering him.

"Hm? Oh, nothing..... it's just.......," I sigh "I miss home......"

"I do too, my brother might still be there, but alas, he is alone, our mother died during humanity's uprising, but as along as you remember it, it will never be gone"

"Come on, we still have at least 30 more minutes of travel, and trust me, you are going to love the carnival." She smiles and pulls in the dragons boy's hand, trying to cheer him up and to get him to go faster, "I think one of my friends said that the quarterfinals are almost done...."

I quicken my pace to keep up with her. 'I'll push this feeling aside for now, I can deal with it later' I thought

"Okay let's run before the captain finds me" she says and tries to sprint with the teen draconian in tow "Hurry! You don't want to miss the tournament!"

"What th-, Hey!" I yell out, startled by her very sudden change of pace.

She jumps and recoils, visibly startled. "We to get a move on!", she says desperately.

She keeps on looking around, visibly nervous. "Please....I don't want to get caught...."

"Fine then, you asked for it," I sighed. I took of at top speed, of course I held on to her shoulders so I wouldn't accidentally rip her arm off with my sudden burst of speed.

"Gah!", she says, caught totally by surprise "This is fast! Really really fast!"
