Giving or taking from secondaries
#1
Question. Can i summon basic items and technology (eg Coffee machine, Workbench, a barrel of beer) for roleplaying purposes and/or to give to secondaries? No intention to use any of that for combat advantages whatsoever.

Yeah, you can summon pretty much anything if its not for combat. Just keep in mind that it takes AT LEAST 3 MINUTES, and that larger items and such take even longer to summon. Summoning also requires full concentration.
All warfare is based on deception.

So, let's say a Prime summoned a gun and gave it to a random secondary. That secondary is not an Assist, not a part of a move and not actually related to any character and that wasn't done to gain any sort of combat advantage. How would that gun work? Would it use the stats of a seconary, ATK namely? Still use the stats of a prime?

Not sure, I would say that it has an advantage over other secondaries with secondary-made weapons, but not too much of an advantage. If normal stats for a secondary was 1/1/1/1 then it would probably give it +1 to attack, at the most, for a well made weapon.

HOWEVER, again I am not sure, but that would be my take on it.

From the FAQ Page:

Quote:Q: Can I use incidental weapons? Guns stolen from enemies? Pots, pans and such?
A: Yes, though you should bear in mind that, as explained in About The World, guns in the Omniverse are usually less powerful than those in real-life due to being tied to the power of the summoner. The exception is those summoned by Primes with high (5+) ATK and TEC stats. It's likely that any weapons obtained from secondaries will be very weak examples, not nearly as effective as using weapons you made for yourself, and easily broken by most Primes.

As a general reminder guys, most things can be found with a quick look through the rules. ^_^

I have seen that. That mostly deals with "Why can't i just grab his gun?" and Primes-Getting-Guns-From-Secondaries and doesn't say much about Secondaries getting guns from Primes, i couldn't find the last part elaborated anywhere. From the above we could say that the gun keeps the power of the summoner, but it isn't really elaborated, so i feel a checkup on this is necessary.

I bolded and underlined the part where your question was answered in the rules for you. Higher Tech and Att Primes make stronger weapons.

@Ururu, unless someone overrules me, there is no way to increase the effectiveness of a Super defense move. They will mitigate the same damage regardless of what powers you have.

Edit: As Kakashi said, you could purchase the next tier.

@Shade, Think Tron, I believe.

I think you misunderstood my question completely. I will now post a bolded and underlined version. It also comes in tl;dr format for your convenience.

Do weapons given to secondaries keep the power level of the summoner or not?

I'd say that the weapon is only the instrument used to express stats. So, the weapon is only as strong as the person discharging it. I did, indeed, misunderstand your question.
