To break down the math: Between the two of them, Inlumia and Link have the eight points that could give the artefact to Protoman. However, if their opinion is divided, Magus and Artorias can bump someone up above the threshold to win. Without myself withdrawing my vote from Samus, which I don't think I'll do, or Proto chipping his points in with someone else, there is no way anyone besides these three could win. I, myself, would have needed the support of both Inlumia and Link to pull it off. If just one of the 4-point-holders casts their lot in with Samus, this is over unless Proto and Ganondorf combine with support from either Magus, Artorias, or the remaining 4-pointer.

Or we could all give our points to Harry because wizards and artefacts go together like peanut butter and jelly.

I mentioned that in the last sentence of that paragraph; that you'd need support from one other person to win if you and Proto combined and Samus got a 4-point wielder.

Dear Inlumia and Link: Y'all should vote for me, because I am swell guy and any artifact I acquire would go to helping people!

Nah. Vote for Ganondorf. I'm awesome. Know why? Because I'm a bad guy. All these other jokers are good and righteous and stuff. And one day they'll join forces to oppose me. If they have all the power, that battle will be over quickly and easily forgotten.

However, if I can gather some power to my side, through artifacts and the like, then that encounter will turn from lame to epic. It'll go down in the annals of history as the greatest single battle ever on a roleplaying website. Imagine this:

The heroes top the final dune, Ganondorf's fortress exposed. The crack of heat lightning lights up the night sky and reveals a terror atop the tallest tower... a Dragon awaits our intrepid heroes.

Now, here's the alternative:

The heroes fly in on their dragon and beat the measly villain easily. Because dragon. The End.

It's true. Bounty Hunters are notoriously untrustworthy. At least you can trust me not to be a nice guy. With Samus, who knows?

If I get the artefact, everyone gets a ride. On the dragon.

I mean hypothetically, if the artefact allows you to summon a dragon. Which it may or may not.

Pity, I thought you mean "ride the dragon" as an old expression for smoking opium.
Besides, Inlumia has already ridden the dragon 3 times. (an in-game dragon, not the other kind)

We should get one of those sex scene forums like other RPs have.

If I become the last voter and hold the balance of power in my control, I would try some way to let everyone benefit from the artifact. If they can't agree, I would vote for Samus for the simple fact Ganondolf was just an annoying bossy idiot who only became useful when a Demon took over. That and the fact I would not trust the Demon.

Pfft. I was useful the whole time. IF people had bothered to listen to me. Additionally, what trust have you for a lady who hasn't even told you her name yet?

Also, in case I hadn't said it before, I'm one of the very few villains around, and the one with the most power at the moment. Considering the relatively large number of "heroes" around, allowing me some more leverage when it all eventually comes to blows would be ideal.

Unless, of course, you're one of those guys who plays games on Easy because plowing through enemies with nary a sweat broken is more fun than struggling to surmount impossible odds. In that case, vote for the Bounty Hunter.

I'll just end up biding my time until I can seize it from Samus without a mob descending on me anyhow.

Besides, Inlumia will have plans for you latter once he has a chat with you. Plans you may actually like.

[spoiler]He plans to eventually set up in the Pale Moors. That would mean helping get rid of the Undead there. I think you would not mind helping take down competition, with the Kingdom and Empire helping, while gathering the lower ranking members of of rivals. Say a few mummies here and there, some were-jackals, and other things. It would also let you loot necromantic, Demonic and Eldrich treasures.[/spoiler]
