Character history:
[spoiler]Black Star comes from a long line of assassins known as the Star Clan. The clan was known as a group of assassins who did anything for money. They victimized people in many areas, killing many innocent people, which made them infamous in various places. Due to their actions, the entire clan was exterminated. Black Star, who was still an infant at the time, was taken in by the DWMA, where he was raised by Sid Barett. He showed skill and talent in his abilities from a very young age, but was still ostracized by many, blaming him for everything that the Star Clan had done in the past. Black Star bears no malice over the loss of his clan, because he understands that his parents led a wretched life and eventually paid the price for it. Due to his ego, many people ignored him, and he constantly failed to collect any souls of Evil humans. On the day of the DWMA entrance ceremony, he stood on top of the DWMA and declared his greatness to the new students below. At first, it seemed as if everyone ignored him and left, but then Black Star found Tsubaki applauding. Impressed that someone had noticed his greatness for the first time, the two introduced each other, and after finding out that Tsubaki was a Demon Weapon, they became partners.

Black Star was taken by Omni shortly after the events involving the Kishin, Asura.[/spoiler]

Tsubaki: Mode: Chain Scythe - (300 OM) Mode: Chain Scythe appears as a long metal chain with each end of the chain tipped with a yellow handle that has a small double-edged and double-pointed scythe blade attached. Three dark grooves appear below each blade. The weapon is also adorned with yellow dots on the handles, making them appear as if they have eyes. The chain on this Weapon form can alter, becoming long or shorter.

Shield☆Star - (300 OM) After a short set-up time, roughly 5-10 seconds depending on the cirumstances, Black Star can use Tsubaki to create a large shield, roughly three foot in diameter) in the shape of a star before him, to fend off powerful attacks. This requires a fair amount of concentration and Black Star must remain relatively still to maintain the shield. (At least to start with..)

Soul resonance isn't actually a move... also, you need to purchase Tsubaki's different forms as separate moves. so for her chain sickle form, you'd need to purchase something like;

Tsubaki Chain Sickle form (300) - [Description of move goes here]

Trap star requires Debuff, as when you trap them they get bound by the chains. Also, how long does it take for black star to set the chains up? how long does the bind last?

Shield Star, how long does it take for him to form this shield? Must he remain still after the shield is formed for it to be effective? how large is the shield?

Edit: That is to say, what you described in Soul Resonance would be how you describe Black Star being able to speak with Tsubaki while she is limited to her weapon form(s) the actual move itself would be the weapon form she takes

Here's my thought process on Soul Resonance; in the anime Soul Resonance is used to basically heighten the duo's abilities and make them a whole lot more powerful. I decided to take it on a slightly lesser route and use it as a way for Black Star to gain access to Tsubaki's abilities, such as Shield Star. Either way, I'll purchase her forms, but any more insight into this would be appreciated. I think I chose a rather difficult character to start off with x)

I'll make the corrections and I'll remove Trap Star for the time being because it's more OM than I have left to spend

Shield Star would take a little preparation time, roughly 10-15 seconds for it to form completely. The shield itself would be roughly 3 foot in diameter and yes, he should remain still.

Obviously it's completely up to you, Black Star, but having also watched Soul Eater, I'd agree with Minato on this one.

Since Meisters are normally able to use their weapons without needing Resonance, I don't really see why you'd need to restrict yourself to using Tsubaki only during it. It'd probably make more sense just as a power-up.

Yeh, I understand both of your points and it's less restricting to have it as a power-up. My thought on it, however, was that it would be more of an activation-esque move, rather than a transformation. But, essentially, it does make more sense to have it as a power-up. I just decided to dull it down a little because Resonance comes across as a slightly OP ability. Still, I'll take what you've said into consideration and edit accordingly.

Can you describe the chain scythe a little more? What they look like, the length of the chain between the two scythes? Can they be thrown at an enemy? if so, that would require ranged Proficiency.

The Chain Scythe form can be used in close-range combat, and also long-range as the scythe blades can be thrown at an opponent as an attack, or as a means to trap them to make them wide open for a close-range attack. Tsubaki's Chain Scythe form is also used by Black☆Star to execute a number of other special moves. The chain on this Weapon form can alter, becoming long or shorter.

For the time being I'm not going to utilize the long-range because I can't afford the Ranged Proficiency, however, I have included the Area Attack Proficiency, so that would allow the scythes to be used in a small area around Black Star, would it not?

There's no point in adding the stuff about being ranged into the description of the move if you're not utilizing it. you're better off purchasing it as an upgrade later and leaving it out until then. That way the move (at present) only costs 300 instead of the required 600 and you can use it to full potential until you upgrade it.

I'm assuming that stuff about trapping an opponent is talking about Trap Star? if so, you don't need that as part of this description, just describe what this move can do at the current time and then upgrade it later.

Are you absolutely sure you want to purchase Area Attack? you currently have no moves that would require it, it would save you some OM, but I guess if you plan on getting moves approved that have Area attack requirements, it's a safe buy

Yeh, I was just thinking of future moves and stuff. Like, I'm planning on having him use the chain scythe as like a whirlwind attack kind of thing. I assumed that would require area attack because he's attacking things in an area around him.
