Chat box fail?

I am unsure how to use the chat box. I see no where to begin typing. I have read the rules on the chat box assuming I couldn't use it until I did but I still see no where to type. Is there something making my phone glitch or am I not trying hard enough to find it? Help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Your chat privileges aren't activated until you've gone through the joining process. Once a mod/admin has approved you, you may post in this thread to have your account activated.

Also, just in case you haven't already done so, read the site Rules before posting your joining app.

Thanks guys, and I have read all twenty pages of the rules and have them saved for offline reading so I may refer to them at any convience.
