Official Move Approval III
Enzo Matrix Wrote:Trident - 300 OM
Requires Physical Strength

A three pronged spear that measures about six feet long. It is lightweight and easy to maneuver around, but at the same time is sturdy enough to withstand constant direct blows. When not in use, it collapses to a small stick that is about the size of a fist for easy storage on a belt or somewhere similar. With the press of a small button it can be extended or retracted between sizes, with a locking mechanism to prevent accidental deployment both in and out of battle. Deploying the weapon as well as sheathing it takes only one second. This is AndrAIa's weapon of choice, but Matrix is skilled with it as well and she will sometimes loan it to him.

Just to be clear, can this be used as a weapon while in it's small form? or is it only weaponized while it is extended to it's full size?

Soulfire Desert Eagle (300 OM) - A powerful, large-caliber handgun that fires 50 millimeter shells. The rate of fire is slower than a normal pistol because it has a rather potent kickback. It has a modified clip that allows it to fire 14 rounds before needed to be reloaded and re-imbued (a process that takes long enough that it is impossible to do so without cover or relief of some form). The bullets are imbued with 'soulfire,' which means they leave trails of green smoke when fired and green residue when they hit a target (a cosmetic effect, nothing more).

No, the small form is only for storage purposes. Similar concept as a lightsaber when its turned off.

A rectangular shield of rough iron, engraved with an ancient prayer and only slightly longer than one's forearm. While otherwise unremarkable, with the utterance of a short invocation it can provide protection against simple magics for the user for a short while.

The shield you described doesn't really fit the area shield proficiency checklist, and what I mean by that you wouldn't actually need the mentioned proficiency to use the move, as it sounds like the shield is rather small. 'slightly longer than one's forearm'. Another thing to mention is that a move can't be specifically good or bad against specific things. So you'll need to remove the part about providing protection against magics, unless that part is purely an RP fodder term to describe all moves, in which case that would be fine.

I've revised the description slightly to be more fitting with the Area Shield Proficiency, and yes, the "protection against simple magics" thing is just RP fodder to encompass any basic move.

I've been considering different characters I can play during this last week, ever since I gave up on Toori... and have now come a full circle. I guess I might end up playing him after all (though if I do, he'll likely work rather differently to how he was going to originally).

In order to decide whether or not to rule him out completely, I've written up three different tier versions of his trademark move in the anime (his only move, actually); Power Propagation (with the Tier 3 one being meant to be more or less on par with what it was in the show).

(Oh, and before you read this; don't worry about the lack of detail in the description; if I do decide to play Toori, the final version of the move will have images hyperlinked into it.)

For ease of reading, differences between versions are written in bold.

Power Propagation (lesser) [Tier 1 Utility-Type Super Move]
Upon activation, a signframe (holographic computer display) appears behind Toori, bearing an icon depicting a socket's three rectangular holes. Following this, a holographic blue plug connected to a wire which fades away into thin air appears, and inserts itself into the socket. Immediately afterwards, the socket vanishes, and is replaced by a blue, runic circle beneath him. Toori then begins to glow with a golden light. He waves a hand, summoning numerous other signframes around himself, all displaying the word "Impossible" in Japanese; there are a number of these frames equal to the number of those within his immediate vicinity to whom he wishes to connect. Behind each of these targeted individuals, another blue signframe appears, showing both the word "Impossible" (still in Japanese), and the image of a socket. From the first set of signframes summoned, holographic, plug-tipped power-cords burst, and fly off to connect with those frames representing each of his chosen allies. A moment after they do, the holograms vanish. In their place, each of his targets, as well as Toori himself, is coated in a translucent, holographic flame. This flame has no effect other than to indicate which people are connected to his network.

This entire initiation process takes around ten seconds, during which time Toori cannot move. After having been activated once, however, he can maintain it for as long as he has the ether (SP) to support its particularly draining effect (2 SP per round).

In his home world, this contract allowed him to supply allies with an unlimited amount of energy. Here, and at this level especially, it is much weaker, and restores only one third of their stamina over the course of each round for which it is maintained. Even so, this is still a powerful ability, and as such, as with everything in the Omniverse, comes with a suitably unfortunate drawback.

Back home, he had to present his feelings of happiness as a ritual offering to pay for the use of this spell; meaning that if he was ever sad then he would have failed to meet the terms of his divine contract, and as such would immediately have died.

Here, no longer tied to the goddess of entertainment, Uzume, the “happiness” part of the contract has been removed; he now must pay using his life force directly. He takes one point of accumulated damage for each round that this ability is active.

In addition to this, there is another drawback as well; rather than being able to supply an unlimited number of allies, as he could back home, at this level Toori can only support three Primes (one of which must be himself) at a time. On the bright side, any Secondaries with a connection to those Primes (i.e. assists & other summoned units) can also be supported.
Power Propagation (greater) [Tier 2 Utility-Type Super Move]

Power Propagation (perfect) [Tier 3 Utility-Type Super Move]

So basically, assuming I ever managed to reach level 10 and buy the Tier 3 version, using that for an entire fight would allow him to give himself and up to eight other primes so much energy that even if they completely exhausted themselves in each of their posts, they'd be perfectly fine and ready to do it all over again by the time their next one came around... and doing this for an entire fight would cost him 18 SP and 9 HP.
In other words, it would cost him more SP than he actually had available, and would bring him down to almost half health even before taking into account enemy attacks.

Personally, I think that that's an appropriate drawback and level of power (the example of a T3 super move given in the rules was Cloud summoning Bahamut Zero, after all)... but I haven't been here long, and though I've taken into account what Omni said about this move the last time I proposed it (giving it a limited number of targets and doubling the SP cost since it's a continuous effect), I may have gotten something wrong.

So any and all help would be much appreciated.

So you could say it is regeneration for Fatigue in battle. I would like to point out that one thing you can't do is supply or restore SP in any fashion. You didn't say you were but it's to be clear.

Also it should probably be in the moves workshop and not move approval, since you aren't trying to get approved.

Yeah, sorry for not being clearer on that; Fatigue is all that I meant by stamina, not SP.

I put it here because I was actually hoping that I could get an idea as to whether it would be something which could get approved. I know I don't actually have the character yet (and may end up not making him at all), but if I can't get an admin's say-so regarding whether this is legal or not then I just know I'll end up getting disappointed when/if I ever actually decide I want to buy it. Sad

Full Power Ki Blast (Tier 1 Super Attack - Ranged, Area Attack) - Orion gathers his ki in one swift motion and fires it in a ten feet wide column of energy. This pulls into Orion's reserves of ki and creates a far more powerful variant of his regular Ki Blast. On impact, the attack explodes in a dome with a five metre radius. Like Ki Blast, this can be fired from his hands and from his mouth in Oozaru form.

Untouchable (Tier 1 Super Defense - Area Shield) - When Orion is besieged by a Tier 1 Super Attack, his obstinacy kicks in and he refuses to run. Instead, Orion coats his hands in a thin, invisible layer of ki and readies himself to grapple with the attack to deflect or blunt the impact. For a physical attack, he catches the strike and throws the attacker to the side. For a large projectile, such as a beam of energy, he grabs it and throws it away. For smaller attacks, like barrages of many smaller projectiles, he slaps and chops them away with incredible speed.

Ruby Rose Wrote:Crescent Rose: Red Rounds (300 OM - requires Ranged Proficiency, Debuff Proficiency) - Ruby swaps in bullets made of red Dust into Crescent Rose. The shots ignite targets upon contact, dealing burning damage over maximum of six seconds, but have very little initial damage. This is due to the Dust crystals shattering upon contact and coating the target in flames, rather than slamming directly into the target.

Crescent Rose: Cyan Rounds (300 OM - requires Ranged Proficiency, Debuff Proficiency) - Ruby swaps in bullets made of cyan Dust into Crescent Rose. The shots slow targets for a maximum of five seconds, or upon multiple (min. five) hits freeze them for up to five seconds, but have very little initial damage. This happens through the shattering of the Dust crystals coating the targets in a freezing cold shower, causing slowed brain activity and muscle movement, and eventually forming ice.

Crescent Rose: Brown Rounds (300 OM - requires Ranged Proficiency) - Ruby swaps in bullets made of brown Dust into Crescent Rose. The shots have much more impact than normal and are still fired in a single shot, rifle bullet fashion, but they are proportionally heavier, having a higher weight than normal shots due to having more material more tightly packed in, proving highly unfavourable for sniping and more for close quarters combat. At a minimum range of ten meters, a straight aim at a target will end with the bullet falling short.

I think Proto may have given up on my stupidity XD

As I have seen everything that is part of the canon you took Ruby from, could I suggest purchasing these as upgrades for your Scythe? as the Scythe itself is the weapon, the bullets themselves (and the effects that come along with them) are just more variable ways to use the weapon.

Edit: that said, I haven't read through them properly and since you mentioned proto was already on the job, I'm not going to approve these and will leave them for now.

The chakra is then compressed into a destructive ball of spiraling, blue, chakra that can be thrust into an opponent to cause damage. The Rasegan takes 5 seconds of full concentration to form in the palm of the user’s hands and is able to be maintained for a maximum of 3 minutes before dispersing. Since the Rasengan is a physical form of the user’s chakra, it requires no extra chakra use to maintain it for the entire three minutes. If the Rasengan is not utilized within the 3 minutes, it becomes unstable and disperses into thin air. The size of a normal Rasengan is the size of the users entire palm (this has no effect on the strength of the move).

putting up an Upgrade for this move.

Here are some moves for Strazio I'm looking to get approved

Cauterize (300)
Strazio control over energy allows him to sacrifice his own flesh for the explosive power within. He can do this on a much smaller scale and release a very small about of energy, enough to sear his own skin. When he is injured with a laceration or an open wound he can spend about two seconds concentrating, during which he can move but cannot attack. During these two seconds the cells around the open edge of the wound explode and cauterize the nearby cells, effectively sealing the blood vessels and staunching the flow of blood. This doesn't actually heal Strazio, and in fact might even impeded the later healing of certain wounds, all this does is staunch blood loss.
Cataclysm (1000) Tier 1 Assist
ATK 2
DEF 0
SPD 2
TEC 1

After several moments of concentration several sinders (white-hot orbs of energy) spark and explode off Strazio. He creates 100 of these small orbs, only about three inches in diameter. These orbs attempt to stay within a twenty meter radius of Strazio. These sinders expire after getting hit by any attack, making area abilities very very effective against them. They can only cast Shatter, Shockwave, and Detonate and after attacking the sinder dissipates. These are mainly used as area control against fast melee enemies, creating a dangerous zone around Strazio.
Overcharge (300) Physical Strength
Strazio momentarily pumps energy into his muscles, supercharging them and pushing them past the normal human limits. For five seconds Strazio's physical strength becomes insane, allowing him to lift and throw things far beyond his normal ability. This ability has no charge-up time, but it is incredibly draining and damaging to Strazio's body. After the effect fades, Strazio's muscles are ravaged and he physically becomes much weaker and moves slower than normal. He can only activate Overcharge once per fight unless he opts to take 2 points of damage at which point he can activate it again. Every activation after the first magnifies the refractory period and doesn't strengthen him as much as the original activation.
Here is a move for Renji my alt.

Demon Lotus (600) Tier 1 Defensive Super Move - Physical Strength, Foresight, Enhanced Senses
Renji is unable to activate the Demon Lotus consciously. Instead the demon that possesses his body is on constant vigilance, ready to take temporary control over Renji's body in order to protect him. Should the demon notice an incoming super move, it'll take control of Renji's body and defend against the attack. Hundreds of large blades erupt from Renji in the direction of the attack, creating a lotus pattern with the center ready to absorb the blast. Melee attackers will be damaged by the blades should they charge into them. Ranged attacks are absorbed and refracted from the demonic blades and the attack rendered harmless. After defending against the attack, the blades retract and Renji is returned to control of his body.

Empathy- As his telepathic strength increases, Retna has developed an ability to pick up on a targets emotiions to discern their possible intent and malice. Retane can sometimes reach out and seek their intent, but when their emotions and intent are great, Retane can passively recognize them.

T1 Super Move: Dark Reckoning( A Thousand Lashes; Torment of a Thousand Souls)- Being the God of Death, even if he can't remember, Retane's subconscious is still linked to the dark planes. The Emerald Fiend reaches out to a hidden plane, where many souls suffer in torture and agony. He raises his hands to the sky, forcing a rip in time and space. From the tear above, a mass of dark purple energy begins to form. Screams of pain howl throughout rthe air only to be encased in the large orb as a fury of razor shap wind revolved around the the dark energy. When the moment is right, the orb launches at his target. Upon collision, the wind attempts to shred at anything in it's way, making a path for the Orb of Reckoning. As the dark energy hits it's target, it tries to onsume them physically and mentally. The target hears the cries of anguish of a thousand souls and is forced to see the pain and agony one unlucky soul had to feel

Burning Aura- Retane's aura represents his charged power and strength, built up and ready to be burned away. The namekian also has another use for it. He can use the aura as a burning sheild that tries to deflect enemies or projectiles from coming in contact with him. If he is close to his foe he can grab them, allowing his aura to attack them while in the area. Retane can charge and power up is aura to grow out to a foot radius from his body.

Hyper Death Barrage!(May Require TIme Manitulation?)- Retane places his outstretched hands together out infront of of him. It takes only a few seconds to charge, almost as if time stand still. He relases the energy torawrds his for , sending a massive ammount of tailed orbs at his foe.

I refuse to lose this battle,
Let whatever come my way.

No, I will not fall today...
Quote:Shadow Puppetry (Require Remote Control Prof., Foresight, and Mimic) - 300 OM
After snacking on her foe's shadow, Shade can summon a replica of them, gaining their strength to a degree. (To 'snack' on a foe's shadow, Shade must successfully strike them with a melee-style attack.) These replicas function as extensions of Shade's own body, taking as much concentration to move as a limb. Shade can maintain up to 2 replicas with minimal detriment to her concentration, with each additional replica adding strain to Shade's concentration to maintain all replicas, up to 5 maximum. Maintaining 5 replicas takes all her focus, and to do so she must remain rooted and cannot use any of her own moves, only those mimicked by the replicas.

As these replicas are extensions of Shade, they cannot act if Shade cannot command them. Essentially, if Shade is being mentally trick or immobilized so that she cannot act with her own body, she cannot act with the replicas. If Shade is knocked unconscious or put to sleep for even a split second, all replicas are dispelled.

These replicas and their strength is permanently gained by Shade, and she can summon a replica of any past foe. (Each new replica gained would be an additional purchase/upgrade to this move.) Shade can command these replicas to perform any move she witnesses said replica's source use after it's creation. These attacks are performed with the same technical skill as moves copied by Mimic, and can only be performed by the replica itself, excluding melee-style attacks (They can be used by Shade as well while the replica with the move is currently summoned). The replicas can also use any of Shade's moves.

All replicas provide Shade with additional visual information, allowing her a larger field of vision. (Anything a replica can see with it's eyes, Shade can also see as if they were her own eyes.)

This replica forms from shadows, being summoned one of the following ways: The replica steps out of nearby shadows within 5 feet of shade, as if it had been waiting there the whole time, OR The replica steps out from directly behind Shade, as if it had been waiting there the whole time.

This is the move as a whole, and i would like to work to get this usable in the scope of the rules. Although I'm looking to have a version without any mimicry approved right now, and then I'd add the mimicry later as an upgrade. Basically, this is more or less the finally form, and I want to squared away before i piece it out to purchase gradually. Know what i mean?
I'm going to leave Shade's move to someone a little more experienced than myself, but I will bring up one thing.

In regards to mimic, you can only mimic a move for 1 hour, after which you would have to witness it again. Any move that you wish to permanently 'mimic' must be bought with your own Omnillium.
