I never really liked the first Payday but I'm feeling IMMENSE peer pressure to buy this one. What's a-the big deal, ehh?

It's like, the most entertaining horde mode survival thingy, and it's progression-based.

I think it's just that it's very team-oriented and most games aren't. So it's fun. And also you shoot many police officers and that's always good.

It is MUCH better than the first. I played the first game over a free weekend and didn't like it. It had a solid premise but poor execution.

Payday 2 has fixed most of the flaws. And like Magus said, it's one of those few team based games that you have to play as a team or suck.
