Changing Character: Eric Everstorm -> Soldier 75
#1
Soldier 75 (A.K.A. Cole Henderson)

Source: Original Character from Overwatch Universe

History: Cole Henderson was an exceptionally driven young man. He was highly athletic, as were most of his peers, and was a starter for his last two years of high school on his school's soccer team, but his classes had been thrown to the wayside, which resulted in below-average grades. That being said, he had decided to pursue a career more stable than sports, and doubled down on his academic efforts. He graduated college as one of the brightest engineering majors of his class, and enlisted in the U.S. special forces a month later as a combat technician when the Omnic Crisis began. However, after only a few months of training, it was clear that Henderson was anything but normal; his ability to quickly adapt to any combat situation, regardless of the handicaps his training sergeants threw at him, earned him a position in the highly classified “soldier enhancement program.” One of the few successful candidates to make it through the entire vetting process, Cole was among the first wave of men to be experimented upon. His first weapon was a prototype heavy pulse rifle, which would later be refined and replaced with the model used by Jack Morrison himself. However, Henderson disliked the newer developments, preferring to stick with his original armament. When Morrison was pulled to enter the Overwatch initiative, Henderson tried, but failed, to join as well. He poured this frustration into his missions, spearheading repeated assaults against Omnic strongholds. During one such mission, an Overwatch team led by Jack came into contact with Cole’s squad. Henderson's two fireteams had single-handedly disabled multiple high-priority targets that Soldier 76 had been sent to neutralize. Jack recognized Cole for what he was and extended the man an invitation to join him. A thrilled Henderson accepted, and soon settled in Overwatch’s covert-ops division, Blackwatch. He was in Rome being debriefed on the situation regarding the high-level talon affiliate Antonio Bartalotti when a Talon bomb exploded within the facility. The last thing he remembers is a deafening roar, then blackness.

Description:At 6’3” with a very sturdy build, Soldier 75 is an imposing figure. His dark gray eyes bore into their target. They hide behind a translucent, royal blue visor nestled above his slightly ajar nose. His rugged jawline is marred across the left side with a jagged scar. He wears a light, fully-armored jacket as dark as a stormy night, with heavy-duty combat pants mottled shades of grey; multiple pockets appear on both items. His worn boots have seen years of fighting.

Characteristics Some might say Soldier 75's stubbornness and persistence are good things, but mixed with his short temper, they often yield explosive results. His must obstinate stance is his unending hate for Omnics, commonly described as robots. He lost many men to the Omnic Crisis, and loathes any robot, regardless of their nature. He is slow to trust, and even when someone has gained his trust, he often remains standoffish towards them. However, he is loyal to a fault, and would give his life for those he does trust.

Proficiencies and Powers: Healing (3000), Homing (600), Ranged (1000), Area Attack (600): (5200 total)

Prototype Heavy Pulse Rifle (Ranged) (300) – A precursor to Soldier-76’s own pulse rifle, it is far heftier, and slightly longer, than the streamlined version utilized by 76. It fires very slowly for an assault rifle, at about 300 rounds per minute, and its recoil is quite large. However, due to Soldier 75’s advanced training and augmentation, he is able to control it well, even while spraying at distant targets.. The rifle uses heavy pulse munitions, hard-hitting concentrated energy designed to shred through walls. Each magazine holds 30 rounds. Soldier 75 reloads at a decent rate, being able to cut reload times down to three seconds in ideal circumstances. He is able to simply pluck new magazines out of thin air.

Helix Grenade (Area Attack, Ranged) (300) – Soldier 75 ejects his current clip and loads a small, 40x53 mm HE grenade into the chamber, which takes three seconds to load. It is comprised of a matte black cylinder capped by a rounded steel gray tip. A launched grenade travels in an arc, at 75m/s (About 165 mph or 270 kph), with a max range of 150 meters. It explodes upon contact, dealing large damage in a small five-foot radius, with much diminished effects further out. He can only carry four of these at a time, and summoning new ones takes time and concentration.

Biotic Field (Healing, Homing) (600) – A useful asset on the battlefield, once this item is deployed it shifts from a metallic canister to an outreaching pylon. Mechanical arms that extend from the bottom, once placed, anchor it to whatever surface it is attached to. It emits an emerald green regenerative mist directly to its targets within an eight-foot radius, which is able to mitigate wounds accumulated on the battlefield, but only to identified friendlies; Soldier 75 is able to mark allies as friendly using the built-in HUD in his tactical visor. At maximum capacity, it contains enough fluid to supply a single stream for twelve seconds, two streams for six seconds, etc. It recharges by itself, but takes an hour to replenish fully, and may not be used until it is done filling.

Proficiencies: Healing (3000), Homing (600), Ranged (1000), Area Attack (600)

Kinda what I imagine the rifle to look like:

Is the Helix grenade reload time the same as the Pulse Rifle’s? Also, I’d feel better if you changed the damage to “large” rather than “massive”, which I imagine is more for Siper Moves.

Biotic Field needs to be 600 due to the variable time/number of streams.

Added a three second load time, and the other changes are done.
