The young Vongola woke up in a small room, his hands cuffed to the steel table in front of him. The cold metal and the ominous grey room gave Tsuna the chills. What did Reborn get him into this time? Sawada was staring at his own reflection in the mirror. Considering the room he was in it could only be a one way see through window. Wondering who might be on the other side Tsuna's imagination was running wild, what kind of horrible person was watching him from the other side of the mirror? It was probably an old scary man, dressed in a black suit, rough hands. Maybe even a burn mark on his face to take the attention of the trenches of wrinkles upon his forehead. The dried up blood on his knuckles from what was most likely a result of his last interrogation. Scar's all over his huge body, signs of a man that has been through hell and back. A purebred badass who eats high schools boys for breakfast.

His imagination was running wild while he was waiting. Finally on the other side of the door he could hear some voices, people were coming. Not knowing whether he should be happy or scared that someone was on his way Tsuna closed his eyes instinctively when the door opened. Flashes of horrible interrogation techniques appeared all at ones in his worried little mind.

"I'M SORRY! I did not mean to, honestly. I don't even know what I am sorry for or why I am here! Don't hurt me! I'M SORRY!"

The door closed, his eyes opened carefully and standing in the corner there he was, the man from his nightmares, a shaved gray hairdo, military suit and a pair of shoulders on him that indicates he could snap Tsuna in half. A cold shiver ran down his spineless back when suddenly he heard a voice coming from the other side of the table.

"Don't worry Mr. Tsunayoshi, he won't hurt you. He is just here for my protection." A smooth female voice said comforting. Not expecting a friendly voice in this environment the young Vongola turned to his right and sitting in front of him he saw a beautiful woman. Dressed in the same military uniform as the man in the corner, well maintained blonde hair reaching her shoulders, a soft smile and eyes he had seen somewhere before. Kyoko! She had the same eyes as Kyoko. Observing the young woman made Tsuna feel more at ease. Still, he was recovering from the positive shock that just happened and had yet to respond to the woman.

"You are safe here, we apologies for the way you were brought in. I assure you, measures have been taken against the guards that have treated you this rough."

A blank stare was Tsuna's responds as it slowly all came back to him, Omni, the nexus, Reborn, Link and the white armored guards near one of the gates, "I remember! They were after me, Reborn tricked me into going there. After i tried to run, everything turned black."

"Yes, that would be the stun gun they used on you when you attempted to run instead of talk."

Sawada looked away, ashamed that he did try to run instead of reasoning with the troopers, " You're right, it might have been better to talk to them and explain the situation. Everything happened so fast, and when Reborn took out the ring I may have panicked. I'm sorry miss..."

Taking the opportunity to introduce herself the officer jumped in, " Agent Scarlett, officer within this military branch, serving Coruscant and the emperor. A pleasure to meet you Sawada Tsunayoshi." Finishing the introduction with a smile made the high-schooler drop his guard a bit more. It was not as scary as he first thought it would be.

"How,.. do you know my name?"

"Your unusual partner told me, Reborn I believe his name was." Sawada's face looked as if he was crying on the inside. 'Ofcourse it was Reborn.' He told himself.

"But why am I here? Why am I cuffed to this table?" The questions finally came out, regaining his common sense he could finally find out what was going on.

"I must apologies once again for your incarceration, we can never be too careful with primes these days. Some are less...willing to have a civil conversation. In the past many agents have been hurt because they approached the wrong primes."

"The wrong primes?" He asked quietly.

The young woman locked eyes with him, her voice was set in a more serious tone as she started to explain, "You are new to the Omniverse, so you will figure out sooner or later, this is not a pleasant place. Out there, there are many primes and other creatures that seek out power. Power to cause harm to others or the empire. These Primes wander the verses as if it was their own personal playground, there is no order with them and do as they please. Some of our less fortunate agents have crossed paths with some of these savages, most of them paid with their lives. In order to protect ourselves we have to get stronger ourselves and be more careful. That's the reason why we detained you like this."

The story had quite the impact on young Sawada, for a while he thought this place was a small paradise where people lived together in peace. It seems he was wrong, and even in this world innocents suffered. For a brief moment he was glad his friends did not come with him, he wouldn't want to endanger their lives ever again. The tenth looked back at the woman and just knew she was telling him the truth, this wasn't a bad person, she had a good strong heart that cared for the people around her, "I.. understand. What do you need to know about me?"

Agent Scarlett stood from her chair and reached placed a leather bag on top of the steel table. Several items were taken from the bag and were placed in a line infront of the mafia heir. The Vongola's eyes widened as he saw his mittens, Vongola Ring and Dying will pills spread before him.

"We want to know why Omni brought you here as a Prime, we want to know what these items are and how they are of use to you as a prime, and most importantly, what will you do now that you have been granted Primehood." The agent asked with a concerned voice.

The Vongola heir didn't even know where to begin. Was he a suspect? Did they believe he was one of those primes that causes problems for others? Speaking as fast as his tongue allowed him Tsuna wanted to set the record straight, "I don't know why this Omni character brought me to this place. I am just a normal high school boy that got in over his head the day Reborn showed up and told me I was the heir to the Vongola family. Ever since that day people have been showing up to either challenge me to that position or take the power of the Vongola ring for themselves. I never asked for any of this, all i have ever tried to do is keep my friends and family safe."

The agent offered a smile once more, trying to calm the young boy down, "It's alright, you're not on trial. So how would you keep your friends safe using this ring and these...mittens?" The woman asked holding up one of the white mittens, not to impressed by the piece of cloth.

"Well, in their current form they are not much use to anyone. But once I enter Dying will mode they change. My dying will flame is able to flow through them and the ring. It gives me the strength to protect the things I care for."

The agent nodded towards the bodyguard who walked up to the chained up boy and took out a small key. Sawada sat very quietly as the guard removed the cuffs and headed out of the interrogation room. "I can see you are good at heart young Sawada. And I myself have things I care for and wish to protect. So, on behalf of the empire of Coruscant I wish to ask you for a favor. Will you lend me your strength, will you help the empire protect the people that live underneath it's wings?"

The young Vongola was never any good in these kind of situations, especially when she reminded him so much of Kyoko, "I erm, yes, if I can, I mean I would if I can." He stammered. "But how can I be of help?"

Agent Scarlett's excitement was noticeable not only though the sound of her voice but by the look in her eyes, " Wonderful! thank you so much. We will go to the Coruscant lab, where we will examine your abilities as a prime. Hopefully to better understand how this mysterious Dying will flame of yours works. You will be in the best of hands here in Coruscant, I will personally take care of it."

"No no, don't go to any trouble, I'm happy to help."

The door opened once again, this time by an old familiar face, "It seems our next adventure is about to begin, get moving No-good Tsuna!" Reborn said jokingly, standing in the opening.

"Reborn! You were here all along?!"

"Ofcourse, I see Agent Scarlett has explained everything."

Tsuna got up and picked up the items from the table, forgetting all about the situation he was in a mere 10 minutes ago he started rambling against Reborn about how dangerous everything had been, that he has to be more careful. The duo started walking down the hallway, but before Agent Scarlett followed she talked into her communicator.

"Yes sir, target acquired, he agreed to it. Yes sir. I will Sir. He will never know."

Reborn was guiding his pupil through the hallway of the facility, agent scarlet of the empire wasn't far behind. The hitman was serious for a change, something that didn't happen to often. Tsuna just followed and listened.

"Amongst the verses there are many factions, many primes, many armies. Not every faction gets along as you may have guessed."

"But in a world where primes are constantly reborn and can create anything they want, why would they fight? Why wouldn't they simply create a world of peace?" The naive Vongola asked his teacher.

Reborn took a sigh as he stopped walking, he turned to Sawada, " Because mankind is never satisfied with what it has, they always want more. Conflict is inevitable wherever one goes. The best thing for someone to do is to stand by what he believes in, stand by his friends and live one day at a time."The pupil looked down towards the floor, letting the words sink in.

Breaking the uncomfortable silence the cursed infant started to talk and walk again, "Speaking of friends, what did you think of Link? You know, he put up quite the fight when you lost consciousness with the guards at the gate"

"He did? He didn't get hurt did he?"

"Well, he might have taken a hit or two but he stood his own. I believe they took him to a holding cell to cool down. They take their security here very serious." Reborn said as they passed the second pair of guards in the facility.

The young Vongola still wasn't all too sure about all of this, "Yes, I can see that. Still unsure whether I should feel safe or a prisoner."

"Don't be a wimp Tsuna, these men are here to protect the people that live in Coruscant, show some respect."

Sawada turned his sight towards the floor once more, everything here was all so new. He would need some time to adjust, luckily Reborn was with him, and Agent Scarlett seemed nice as well, " I'm sorry Reborn, I just didn't want him to get in trouble for me nor did i mean any disrespect for the men here protecting the people from harm from the outside world."

Reborn showed a faint smile underneath his mafioso like headpiece, that was the Tsuna he knew and guided, one day he would be a strong and caring leader, "Don't worry Tsuna, I will go and take care of it personally. You stay with Agent Scarlett, she will take good care of you.” Without waiting for a reply the tutor turned around and started walking back into the holding area, it seemed he still had one thing to do.

Sawada watched as Reborn walked off and the blonde agent caught up. “Shall we get going? I’m sure Reborn will join us shortly.” The Vongola nodded in agreement.

Agent Scarlett opened the door and the bright sunlight attacked Sawada’s eyes, he wasn’t quite expecting what he saw when his eyes adjusted. Walking out on the large plateau he looked around him, everywhere he looked he saw flying cars moving over his head between the many skyscrapers surrounding them. Tsuna observed in awe, not even when he travelled to his own future did it look as futuristic as this, it was amazing, the blue sky, the high buildings. With an amazed smile on his face and wide open eyes he forgot where he was. “It’s amazing isn’t it? This is the first tier of Coruscant, the pinnacle of civilization. The proud centre of the omniverse.” Agent Scarlett told him as she stood next to him.

“I arranged for transportation towards the facility.” With a hand gesture she motioned towards one of the flying cars that were parked on the plateau. Several guards were patrolling the area, it seemed pretty well guarded, then again, it was a holding area. Sawada followed the motions and started walking towards the vehicle, even though they were going to a lab of some sort, he was still excited.

Agent Scarlett took the wheel beside him and initiated the vehicle. It wasn’t long before the duo flew off towards the busy traffic between the buildings, the speed of the vehicle took Tsuna by surprise. Clamping on tight to the vehicle he tried not to look down. His guide didn’t seem too affected by him and started to explain quite casually where it was they were heading, “This lab we are going to will test your limits as a prime, it might be though but i’m sure you will be able to handle it, if the information Reborn gave us is true. This Dying will flame within you must really be something. I’m sure the scientist will be thrilled with the data you can provide them with. The empire is always in need of primes willing to step up and do the right thing, even if that means putting themselves in harm's way.” As the agent continued to talk to the high schooler he held on for his dear life. The driving skills of the woman was terrifying to say the least, dodging one car after the other as it flew through traffic like a leaf on the wind. Starting to feel nauseated the prime only heard half of what the agent said, he was doing everything in his power not to throw up all over the car. Finally the vehicle slowed down, “We’re here.” She said as they approached one of the many skyscrapers. Tsuna looked up towards the tall tower as they drove into one of the entrances for the flying mobiles.

The lights on the ceiling were mesmerizing as the hallway lights raced over Sawada’s head, he just kept staring at them, this place was enormous. They started to appear less frequent, the vehicle wa slowing down. The Vongola heir noticed agent Scarlet was driving towards a small group of men in white armor, that were waiting up ahead. Immediately he felt uneasy, his first encounter with the stormtroopers wasn't exactly a pleasant one. His driver noticed the shift in his attitude, “Don’t worry, they are here to welcome the guest of honor.” she spoke, trying to ease his mind. Tsuna gave scarlett a confused look,“Who are they expecting?” His chaperone offered him a smile, “You of course, it's not everyday a Prime offers to help the empire against their struggle in the Omniverse by submitting themselves to scientific research. They are here to honor your valiant efforts.” Tsuna felt overwhelmed, he had no idea it was such a big deal.

When the Prime exited the flying vehicle he couldn’t help himself and attempted to break the awkward tension by bowing towards the gathered trooper, as per japanese traditions. The agent shook her head, the scene only became more awkward. She nudged Tsuna in the back, motioning to move along. Sawada walked through the pathway made by stormtroopers in military stance, holding their blasters up against their chest, the sight was impressive and intimidated the youngster. Up ahead a glass door opened and a duo in white labcoats walked towards Tsuna. One was an older gentleman, wearing horn rimmed glasses underneath his long silver gray hair. His slim posture wasn’t very impressive, but the intense look in his eyes made him a scary looking individual. The other labcoat wearing person was a lot younger, with a shaven head, a stubble beard and for some reason deep black sunglasses, he looked a lot more intimidating than his partner, also less like a scientist. With a whispering voice the older man of the two broke the silence, “Welcome young prime, i am professor Zimmer and this is my colleague Choro. We work for doctor Geno and will be taking care of you during the experiments.”

“P-pleased to meet you, my name is Sawada Tsunayoshi, please take good care of me.” He ended his polite and traditional introduction with yet another bow. The duo shared a quick look before inviting the Vongola inside.

As they walked through the facility professor Zimmer explained what was going to happen, “Each prime we’ve seen in the Omniverse is different from the other. Every single one of them have different powers and abilities. Here at the science branch of the empire we attempt to learn how these abilities work and how we can use this intel to strengthen the Empire against outside threats. To fully understand your abilities as a prime we will put you to the test, we will have to push your limits. We therefore urge you to give it everything you have, don’t hold back and bear with it when things get tough.”

Sawada nodded a bit unsure, he didn’t realize things might actually get hard for him. Agent Scarlett attempted to reassure the young prime by placing her hand on his shoulder. Somehow having her around calmed Tsuna down, it was strange how in such short period of time he came to trust her. Choro suddenly stopped and turned around, “ This will be your stop Prime, you will go in the training room where you will be faced with several trials in order for us to determine your prime powers. We will be observing from the observation chamber.” The deep voice of the scientist was as intimidating as his looks, Tsuna nodded, glanced at Scarlet once more before stepping into the large hall. The door behind him automatically closed. The Vongola found himself in a large white hall, in front of him he saw the observation room up high. He start to step further in the enormous training room and started wondering what kind of training took place here? Through the glass he noticed Zimmer, Choro and Scarlet taking place in the observation room, accompanied with several more labcoats. All of them taking seats behind the large control panel stretched out behind the glass.

Zimmer stood next to Scarlet, “I see you haven't lost your touch agent Scarlet, the boy seems to trust you completely, does he even know what will happen to him?”

“Ofcourse not you old fool, no one would willingly agree to this if they knew what was going to happen. I can’t believe this kid is actually blessed with the same power as our emperor, the power of primes. Let's see what he got. Start the first trial.”

Choro nodded and activated the control panel. Within the training room several obstacles emerged from the floor, simulating an obstacle course filled with small walls, trenches and a few hidden traps. Tsuna stumbled around before falling down as the area changed. Quickly he put on his mittens.

“ Ten imperial credits say the kid dies within the first two minutes.” Choro said behind the panel.

Agent Scarlet grinned, “i'll take that bet, there is something about him, something...strange.”

“Your loss, i'll start him off easy so he might survive the first blow.” The scientist said before he started to initiate the simulation.

Throughout the hall a robotic female voice announced the beginning of the experiment , “ Imperial Prime Combat trials initiated, subject: Sawada Tsunayoshi. Phase one, Start!”

Sawada let out a girlish ‘welp’ as the brightly lit hall suddenly blacked out, darkness covered the entire prime testing area. Not even the observation post was visible to him. From within the black he heard several mechanisms turning, the moving of objects. An eerie feeling overcame the young maffia heir, a voice inside him started whispering to him, perhaps, this was a mistake.

“H-Hello?” The unsure voice of a scared boy echoed through the hall without receiving a reply. Tsuna took a few steps before stumbling against a wall, an obstacle which wasn’t there just moments ago. The Vongola dropped on his ass and started rubbing his face, “Ow, that hurt! What’s going on? Agent Scarlett? Is this Normal? The questions and screams were answered with a  few red flickering beacons combined with a loud wailing claxon . The flashes of lights made it difficult but not impossible to look around. The entire hall was reformed, it resembled some sort of obstacle course.Quickly the prime got up, he realised this was happening, whether he wanted to or not. As fast as he could he started putting the mittens on, the fact that the lights kept flickering did not help at all. While struggling to get his fluff gauntlet-like mittens on he noticed a hatch opened up within a nearby wall. From within the shadows behind the newly opened hatch Two green lit eyes shined brightly, revealing the first imperial test.

The sound of robotics were clearly heard as the full metal contraption emerged from the opening. Iron claws sank deep into the reinforced wall, an alloy covered, doglike creation revealed itself to Tsuna who, in turn, was ready to wet himself. Sweat broke out throughout every available pore of his body. With trembling hands the prime was searching himself for the container of dying will pills, without Reborn it was the only way for him to survive this crazy so-called test. “Where are they?!” His panicked voice cried out. Moving his covered hands over his clothing pushed the container out of Sawada’s pocket. The sudden thumping sound created the plastic vessel hitting the solid stone floor not only forced the lit off, it also set off the empire’s killing machine. A strong leap through the air quickly covered the gap between it and the prime. Tsuna dove after the pills that were spread all over the floor, unintentionally dodging the machine’s charging attack. The screeching sound of metal scratching over stone send shivers down tsuna’s spine. The creature came to a halt, preparing it’s second attack. The young vongola managed to get his hands on one of the scattered dying will pills. His eyes darted towards the machine, seeing it picking up speed as it runs towards Sawada. Quickly swallowing the key to unlocking his power Tsuna sought cover by running around the corner of a nearby obstacle. The metal terror came rushing around, once more facing the prime, eye to camera.

Up in the observation chamber both Choro and Agent scarlett got up from their seats, “What in the emperor's name is that?” The scientist said in his grit deep, yet surprised voice. The agent eyes slightly widened, on the screen they saw a confident eyeing Tsuna. His eyes burning with resolve, and in front of his forehead an actual flame was burning fiercely. It was the first time his awakened state was seen in the Omniverse.
