Chaotic Considerations
#1
As he came out of the cave, the clothes he had been wearing were ripped and badly torn. Given they were the orange body suit he had worn upon arrival into the Omniverse as Warren hadn't been willing to create new clothes for himself, he didn't exactly mind them being torn up. However, it would present a bad example to some of his new found associates if he were to allow himself to be seen in the outfit he had on. In addition, it was drafty in certain parts of his body that there was no business for a draft to be in. As a result of all of these factors, Warren Zimmer decided that he needed a new outfit. It had to be something more elegant than the one he had worn before, he knew that much. Thus, he needed to think very carefully as to what he would wear for himself. Style was important, but so too was the material of the outfit. It had to be something breathable, but at the same time wearable by him and able to be used in a decent fight.

"Sir, we found something," said one of the men that he had recruited, Justin. "Yes, what is it?" asked Warren Zimmer who had no patience for beating around the bush. Justin then produced a katana that seemed to have chains wrapped around it. It was purple, and gray much like the armor he had been accustom to wearing. Something about the sword did seem fitting for him, if he were to be honest. Sure he was more of a blaster type of guy normally, but after his humiliations lately, he needed to make sure that he could hold his own against all manner of opponents.  "An impressive weapon. A shame it reminds me of the blade that was possessed by that enemy of mine who you will not speak of in my presence," growled Warren Zimmer. Sure he may be nice to his men, but there were some things he would rather be able to forget. And the way he had been defeated and evicted from his old home was one of those things. Ultimately however he could not afford to forget, but would instead have to do something about it. Really the Quarterback of Chaos knew that he had a long way to go before he could even protect himself. Of course his lack of combat abilities that didn't involve advanced technology was a problem. Perhaps if he could relearn how to use Chaos Energy Charge Hands like he had been able to do initially, that might give him the edge that he needed. There were really a lot of techniques that one could say would be useful. Even better would be if he were able to calibrate his NFL-R to allow him to fly like it had back home. Yes, that would certainly be preferable over the current acrobatic skills he had to employ.

"So what are you going to do with the blade?" asked Justin as he looked at Warren Zimmer. Warren paused for a moment. His eyes lit as he held out the orb of Omnilium. A minor wisp of Omnilium swirled around his body out of the orb, burning away the ugly orange jumpsuit he had been wearing. A purple suit replaced his garments that he had been previously in. The garments he now wore were different. Unlike the itchy suit he had been given to wear by the Empire after his beat down that had been so miserable he could barely focus, his new clothes were more comfortable. The outfit itself was a purple ensemble similar to what one might see on certain business men, or fictional characters. However, on the right hand was something Warren didn't expect to ever see again. Or rather, a replica of something that he had hoped to never see again in any fashion. An Anticorian Cuff.

A sudden thumping in his chest proved to Warren that the Anticorian Cuff was not a wise idea. On the other hand though, perhaps the fear of what had happened in the past to him would make him focus on something else other than his humiliation. Lost in thought, Warren began to re-imagine the memory.

Inside his cell that he had been trapped in by the Guardians,  a jail cell where he had no access to his NFL-R as it had been likely destroyed Warren was minding his own business. However, times changed. It had been a saturday afternoon as normal, with him confined in the cell. The tedium of being stuck in the cell was beginning to get to him, when something unexpected would happen. Staring at the pale pearl colored walls of the cell, Warren thought he'd lose his mind.

The day was going to be more eventful than he had originally thought possible. A loud explosion rocked the cell, causing Warren to panic and fall to his knees.

"He'll do," said Drop Kick as he looked at his former boss. Ever since he had been rebuilt by the Anticorians, Drop Kick now served them. Since they needed Warren for a lot of reasons, including his knowledge of the Safe Zone, and the Megacores,  it had been his idea that Warren be convinced to rejoin them by any means possible. In this case, it meant forcing an anticorian cuff on him.

Forcing himself out of the memory, Warren Zimmer frowned. Things had changed since the day he had experienced that. For one thing, Sudden Death was not around and so could not control him with the technology of the Anticorian Cuff. In addition, Warren had changed since his days in Canton. No longer did he actually need the NFL-R. His abilities to manipulate Omnilium were more effective. Gripping the blade that had been given him, Warren examined it. While a blade he normally wouldn't think of using, it would still be useful.

"Sir, we've found something you'll be interested in," exclaimed Cameron. While his body may be sore because of the sand impacting him like bullets, all over the boss's happiness meant that they would be better off in the long run. Given that he had found something the boss would be very interested in, Cameron knew Warren might grace them with a gift for what he had discovered such as a place to stay, or food. Curious as to what had been discovered, Warren went over to the area where Cameron had discovered whatever it was. Upon examining the cavern that Cameron had found, Warren looked at the place. A stone tablet had been engraved near the castle, a plaque really.

"To whoever finds this castle, I leave it to them. May you use the resources here, to do good for the Omniverse."

Good was not something Warren intended on doing - for the most part. Sure using the castle for himself was partially good in that he'd no longer be homeless but he doubted it was the kind of good the person who had up and abandoned the place had thought about. It was going to need some maintenance, but at least attacking the place would be harder than most people would want to do. Still, he was going to need more men if he was going to do anything lasting in the Omniverse. Rounding up the bandits did seem like a good idea, but he couldn't rely on the muscle they possessed alone.

What he needed were minions who were loyal to him, and couldn't betray him. In addition he also needed more equipment for himself, and new apps he could program into his NFL-R. The NFL-R also needed work so that it would become even more formidable of a blaster type thing for him. In the long run, Warren knew he needed to do something about the darkness of the cavern. Since he didn't have night vision capabilities, the place was going to need some maintenance, some severe maintenance if he was going to do anything that he had planned to do for himself.

Upon entering the castle that he would now call home with his men, Warren was not amused. The fact of why he was not amused was rather evident. Sure the exterior of the castle looked like it had been in fairly good shape, but the interior of the place was a different story. Bugs skittered across the floor, bugs that had brown carapraces and were of the roach variety. Said roaches soon met their end via a blast from the NFL-R, because Warren did not like having insects in his house. When he noticed some scorpions, as well in the place, Warren frowned. Okay, this place was going to need to be cleansed of any and all pests that were presently inside of the place. Once that was done he could get to the actual part that needed to be done by him, namely the reconstruction of the place. Sure the place may be underground in one of the hottest of the verses in the Omniverse, but well, it was a place that was his. His opponents were not going to seize this place from him unlike what they had done previously to humiliate the Quarterback of Chaos.

"Sir," rambled one of his men rapidly. "You won't believe what we found. A fully furnished, and insect free bedroom. It has an attached bathroom, and even a room that contains a hot tub, and also an exercise room, as well other rooms attached to it."

The hot tub was something that Warren's aching muscles were certainly going to enjoy. It also pointed to whoever had built the place being highly intelligent. Incorporating things like that in this place was a stroke of genius. It almost made up for the scorpion Warren impaled with the Chaotic Quarterspear Staff without any hesitation, or the numerous other insects. Keyword, almost. If there were any more good surprises in the place, it would certainly help with his mood. Of course what would also help with his mood was developing this place into somewhere he could be proud of. Eventually he did need to move out of the Endless Dunes, and reclaim the Tangled Green for himself. It was simply a matter of pride though, a matter of pride that Warren not allow himself to be overcome by something so small as the problem of being driven out of his home. Yet, it could wait until the future.

For now his focus was going to be on the place he now had.

"Perhaps if I were to build some sort of wall turrets here,"  stated Warren, as he painted some chalk on one of the stone walls of the place. Dust was all over the place and it would need a cleaning before it could be considered a proper home. Of course, the place needed more than a simple cleaning job before he could consider it as worthy of being more than his base of operations. That was all this place was, a base. It was not like the Home he had established in the Tangled Green, not by a long shot. For one, the Endless Dunes had many problems that he thankfully had not had to deal with in the Tangled Green. Obviously he could not reclaim his base, not without some muscle to help him evict the unwanted guest that he didn't know wasn't there. If Warren had known that Yandere was in the Endless Dunes, he'd have been headed for the hills as soon as he was possibly able to do so.  "Some missile launchers there,"  sighed Warren, as he painted the marking of where he needed to put them with the chalk on the walls of his home. Really he would have been better off had he built somewhere better, but he didn't honestly feel like wasting the effort into doing something like that. This base was only a fall-back position, a fall-back until he could have somewhere more advanced to call his HQ. Really he also needed more powerful weapons, and some allies of his own.

The attitude of Gilgamesh was intolerable, so Warren knew he couldn't expect any real support from Nippur. This left other options that he could try to exploit because he was going to need to do so. The first of the options was the most promising. The Empire had a large enough army for his purposes, and a few legions of them should be enough to clear his home of the pests - or better yet, capture Dark Hecate, and destroy Yandere. Yes, Yandere was one opponent Warren Zimmer knew he couldn't beat, as he was now. If he were to get the powers of the Core, perhaps he could do so. Yet, at present his chances of doing so were slim to none to say the least of the matter. What he needed was a real game changer, and so he'd have one.

While Justin may not like the fact that Warren had essentially "indentured" him, and his associates to work for him, Justin had one nice thing to say about Warren. Unlike their previous boss, Warren provided for them more. Food and clothing were provided as well as shelter, and other amenities. It was good to have a Prime as someone who was in charge of them, and yet Justin could see the signs. Something had their current boss upset with the current situation. Though the why the boss was upset was something that Justin didn't know. However, he did know that a relatively happier boss was one that was less likely to blast them all and make new secondaries in order to replace the ones that he had just destroyed. Thus, Justin decided to ask what was bothering Warren.

"Boss, I've noticed you seemed unusually irritable lately. Can you explain to me why that is?" asked Justin, trying to maintain an air of calm.

"Tell me. Have you ever been stabbed?"  The sudden question caught Justin off guard.  "No, I can't say that I have," stated Justin.

"Precisely. Something that I wish were the case with me," growled Warren. "You see, this castle? It's not even the home I wanted us to live in. The home I wanted us to live in is inhabited by someone who is psychotic, and who has a lover, Yandere Lover. I think it's more of an unrequited crush on his part, but it makes him crazy for her, and he drove me out of my home."

"Oh,"  Justin was now realizing what the cause of Warren's bad mood was.  "Boss, I just had an idea. If the situation bothers you that much, why don't you simply do something about it? Go to the Empire, gather technology, work your way up through their ranks, and then sic the Imperial Army on the individuals, so you can liberate your home from them?"

"Admittedly not a bad idea, but you lot will need someone more effective than I have been, to help you collect the manpower you're going to need. You'll need all the help you can get, come on. We're taking a trip to Coruscant," growled Warren, as he and his men left their home, headed towards the nearest gate that led into the world of Coruscant, as there was work to be done.
