Shantotto stepped through the gate into the pale white of the Nexus, the fountain and all the denizens of the omniverse just walking around moving from one area to another, in the distance close to where she had seen the small girl and clown fight was now another fight this time several people all ganging up on the clown, Shantotto could see despite the distance that the little girl was wounded, quite badly at that, her arm had been removed in some form or another, how it had happened Shantotto could only surmise.
She began walking closer and closer to the fight, a crowd gathered around the fight. Part of Shantotto wanted to partake in the fight, not because of a desire to fight but rather seeing the clown outnumbered made her feel even just a small amount of sympathy towards the demented creature.
Still even if she could turn the tide of the battle, a feat which Shantotto undoubtedly knew she could, it would have little benefit to her, in fact her charity in teaching the boy how to fight and be rid of his pest problem had already cost her valuable time and effort, not to mention she had already used a great deal of magic, and shown off several of her spells/ if they boy ever intended to cross paths with her and draw his blade in anger, she knew he would know a great deal of her spells..... not that it mattered much, at the end of the day she was the great Shantotto, the woman who nearly single handedly ended the crystal war.
As she got closer and closer her curiosity peaked, grabbing her notebook and allowing it to reach full size she watched each crossing of blades figuratively. She documented everything, from how the combatants placed themselves to how the blows of each fighter rained down upon the other. It was just simple notes, but it was a way to keep track. She would eventually get names to go with each face.
Closing the book she shrunk it down once more and put it inside her pocket, before continuing on her merry way. She needed to find the gateway to the sands....
