Today was the first day Ash decided he was going to make a trip to Coruscant. On that day, he was sitting in the local tavern back in Darkshire after he finished his patrol duties on helping out with the militia. He was lounging around on and decided to play Texas hold ‘em with five other bounty hunters who weren't locals. While playing the game, the people who were strangers were conversating while the dealer handed them their cards. Each of the bounty hunters told stories of their own travels and the bounties they collected from how long they lived in the Omniverse. Some of the stories boasted about themselves and others were humorous.
A short while in, Ash announced that he was a prime that has been living here for some time now and said that he hasn't tried to travel to the other verses that they talked about. He didn't really know any other place for a lengthy period until he met with primes from outside of this verse. All the verses they talked about Ash would like to visit someday but Darkshire needed as much help with primes. There was one bounty hunter named Jackson and he was part cybernetic. A bald Caucasian burly man who stood taller than Ash and had bigger biceps. His left hand was an advanced cybernetic hand and there was a story how he lost that hand along with why he got the augments. The evil dead slayer shared his story too about his right hand and the replacement he has for it.
That's when Jackson told him it would be best to head over to Coruscant and find a cybernetic doctor if he wanted a more advanced hand. So, Ash took his advice and decided to travel to Coruscant but planned not to stay there for too long. He's already heard about the Empire and knew they can be strict, but he doesn't plan to be a trouble-maker, as long no one turned into a deadite.
After getting clearance from the Nexus gateway squad he stepped through the portal-like entrance and entered the sprawling futuristic city verse. He noticed he was inside a humongous building that had a dome ceiling above him that had glass panels with the light of the verse's sun shining through it. Many varied species of beings were inside this building and stormtrooper presence was significant. A huge golden statue of Emperor Palpatine stood in the center of the foyer with a welcoming gesture. It was placed in front of the gateway for the newcomers or returning people of Coruscant.
"Emperor Palpatine of The Empire" was the big printed letters that were engraved into the base that the statue was on top of.
This image of the emperor was made to appear he had the authority over anyone who set foot in his verse.
Ash walked past the statue and went up the stairs that led to a row of counters that had lines of people, standing before them. He noticed it was registration of citizenship for Coruscant due to the holographic words that were displayed on a wall above the counters. The evil dead slayer didn't want to register to live in this verse, so he bypass citizenship registration station and continued to walk into one of the two hallways that were beside the registration counters. While walking away from the foyer, Ash realized there were many people front and behind him. He also noticed that there was a checkpoint of stormtroopers that citizens/tourist lined up at. It was the only way to get to the rest of Coruscant, so Ash had no choice to wait there for a lengthy time. Eagerness was growing on him as he waited to see what this so-called popular verse appeared to be. Each person took at least a minute or two if they had their citizenship ID. If the stormtroopers security scanners went off on something, the troopers had to pat down that person and figure out why their security system was going off. The time lapse for this depended on how fast they could get it done.
After it seemed for about thirty minutes, it was finally Ash's turn. He went through the imperial scanner terminal that was embedded into the floor with three stormtroopers surrounding it and one officer who stood behind a computer system that was hooked up to the scanner right next to it. The scanner blared the alarm off that it detected something on Ash. A groan came out of his mouth from the security system was unfair to the somewhat good guy. They halt him and tell him that the system was going off because of his holstered boomstick.
"Sir, your weapon is required to be removed due to the laws of Coruscant," the Stormtrooper stated to Ash in a demanding manner.
"Fine," Ash replied with his patience becoming thin.
He used his Ominilium to make his shotgun disappear and remained with no weapons attached to him. The only thing he had was his old steel prosthetic hand. They pat him down for more suspicious stuff and shot a mug picture of him to run through the bounty board of the Empire on the computer system. After the four-minute process, they let Ash proceed to pass the checkpoint.
"Alright, you're clear. Move along," the stormtrooper ordered Ash while stepping out of his way.
The Darkshire traveler did so and moved beyond the checkpoint to go down a flight of steps that was fifty feet away. After getting down the flight of steps, he entered an extensive massive hallway that had many advertisements, propaganda, seating areas, benches, and vending machines. Potted plant life was established here to give a livelier style too. This took fifteen minutes for Ash to get all the way to the end of the second hallway. When he left the hallway, the Darkshire defender realized he was finally outside on a massive docking platform that had hover vehicles of all sorts such as taxis, buses, and EPD. Crowds of people waited for certain transports to get here but Ash made his way through.
Ash wasn't really used to this kind of crowding before since he came from Darkshire which was nothing compared to this size. Afterward, from finally getting out from the crowd, Ash can finally see how Coruscant looked to be. Of course, he was amazed from the sight of the gigantic city. Miles and miles appeared to be nothing but the city. Tall futuristic architecture buildings reached higher to the sky than others. There was much flight traffic happening with the hover cars that populated Coruscant. The sun shined down upon the city, making it look like it was made of gold from the metallic reflection. He was dumbstruck at this moment that he didn't think this city would be the biggest he ever saw.
Seeing it rather than hearing about it does make a difference.
The evil dead slayer finally snapped out of the city's attractive display and got into one of the taxis.
His taxi driver was a green male alien humanoid known as Rodian.
"Where ya headin' to?" the Rodian spoke in his ruff city accent.
"Just take me to the square of this city," Ash replied to the taxi driver, trying not to get weirded out from his appearance.
The hover taxi lifted in the air for a second and turned away from the welcome center of Coruscant. They flew away than blended in one of the bustling air traffic freeways.

"Good....Bad....I'm the guy with the gun."
