Warren: You'll need to change Ricky's history. Secondaries becoming Primes is not an occurrence that happens outside of a reward from meeting Omni in-character --and even then I can't guarantee it's something you can obtain every time. Regardless, you can't just have Omni do it right as he's summoned. Also I'm not sure what your totals are at the bottom of the sheet but I count 20k as your total OM expenditure.

(01-06-2018, 02:23 PM)Warren Zimmer Wrote: Going to be submitting two NPC Primes for approval here. Here is Ricky.

NPC Name: Ricky Cervantes

NPC Source: NFL Rush Zone

Character History:

When Warren Zimmer first arrived in the Omniverse, one of the first things he had done was meet Ricky Cervantes, and restore his NFL-R. Due to that, Ricky worked with Warren in an attempt to learn more about this place, and how things worked. Meeting Lord Dominator Ricky attempted to sway her to the cause of Warren Zimmer, but she was uninterested. When Warren vanished from the Omniverse, Ricky was left to his own devices. With that in mind, Ricky traveled the Omniverse and learned more about the place, trying to pick up new moves for himself, and new skills so that he could be ready when Warren returned, to try and reform him.

Personality:  Due to his competitive-minded rearing from his equally competitive-minded, and at the time, overbearing, father, Ricky started off in the show as an aloof, tough-exteriored and sometimes sarcastic person. Driven to be the best youth football player, even captaining his own team, he tended to show a demeanor typical of a cocky, sports-centric jock.

In spite of this poor general first impression, he rather quickly began showing signs of a moral and kindhearted character to him. This was first chiefly displayed in "Oh Brother", where he had his father postpone the Sectionals so that he and a recently apologized Ish could face off against each other, fair and square. Though his father's overbearingly competitive attitude unwittingly drove Ricky to Wild Card, while also showing the tension Ricky had with living up to his father's expectations, these events eventually lead to Ricky showing and embracing his true colors as a selfless hero, while also patching up and strengthening his relationship with his father, who subsequently tones down his prior behavior.

After becoming an official Guardian, Ricky is shown to be a warmhearted and stalwart friend to his new allies, occasionally showing a big-brother-esque vibe in his dealings with them. He, however, still retains the tough and competitive side of his personality, though it's now channeled more positively and carries more good sportsmanship qualities than it previously had. The "Guardians Unleashed" season also showed an eagerly dutiful and diligent side to Ricky, when he takes it upon himself to do odd jobs to gain money after his father becomes in-between jobs. This showcased a more positive take on Ricky's desire to impress his father. Ricky has hope that Warren can be redeemed into a good guy but has began to have his doubts.

Physical Description:

When not in his blue Tigers football uniform, Ricky is usually dressed in warm, casual street attire. He typically wears a white t-shirt underneath a burgundy-colored hoodie, with black hood and trim. His rather messy mop of a brown mullet is almost always concealed by a matching burgundy knit cap that has two vertical white strips on its rim, which are generally affixed to the front-left side while on his head. He sports a pair of gray jeans and black sneakers, with red laces, that are rimmed around their perimeter and entirely at their soles with white. Lastly, Ricky himself has a slightly tan complexion and dark brown eyes.
During cold, snowy weather, he trades his hoodie for a burgundy coat and a slightly darker shade of mittens to match. He'll also wear a brown and gray ushanka in place of his usually knit cap.

As Guardian QB-6, Ricky's outfit, like his fellow Guardians', becomes that of a fully-armored, football uniform-styled warrior. He becomes taller than his original height, as tall as most adults, and is covered head to toe in the uniform. Primarily off-white with light blue florescent highlights and a design scheme unique to himself throughout the uniform, upon getting the team's Super Guardian upgrade from the "Guardians Unleashed" season, he becomes more visually distinctive from the other Guardians, with his trademark burgundy color now being used and becoming the dominate color of his uniform, including as the color of his helmet's visor.

NFL- R (Ranged Proficiency,  300 OM,  RP Fodder.):

The NFL-R is a watch like device that shoots a 7-14 inch beam of energy out of it at an opponent when worn. This travels at about the speed of an arrow,  and takes  him about 15 seconds to charge up properly. However, the NFL-R is required to have a variety of apps and techniques that he can do while wearing it. It also, if functional would create his armor over his body. Sadly that function has been lost when it was brought to the Omniverse.  The NFL-R is a move that also acts as his communicator and Mobile Dataverse Device (When he acquires one that is) so all of his stuff is integrated for his own use.

The move does have a lot of power behind it, once fully charged,  meaning it can likely do a lot of damage were it to hit an opponent. It can be aimed, as well. Ricky can most certainly move when aiming, and firing the blast of energy from the watch.

Lightning Blast (300, Ranged Proficiency, Debuff Proficiency.)

One of the capabilities Ricky created anew when Warren vanished originally. This possesses electricity akin to a Tazer, but it is more of an electrical energy blast. It travels as fast as an arrow, has a range of 50 feet and does a mild amount of damage. This is mildly taxing on his energy reserves, and doesn't take much time to charge, having a 3 second charge time. it isn't very damaging, but it is very accurate. This requires both hands, and shoots out of the right wrist of his suit, or out of the palm of his hand if he is not wearing his suit.

Fire Blast (300, Ranged Prof, Debuff.):
This requires both hands, and shoots out of the right wrist of his suit, or out of the palm of his hand if he is not wearing his suit. A cousin to the Lightning blast, this has a range of 50 feet. It travels at the speed of an arrow, and has a three second charge time. It isn't very damaging, only doing mild damage. But it is very accurate. This is mildly taxing on his energy reserves, the equivalent of a light work out.  This will cause an opponent to suffer a burning sensation for about seven seconds, and has an 18 second cool down. Requires one hand.

Super Bowl Ring (Ranged Proficiency, 300):

A super bowl ring is a weapon of immense power from Ricky's homeworld. This can shoot blue thin wire like beams out of energy from it. The blasts do moderate damage. They aren't very taxing, and are about as draining as a light workout. The Super Bowl Ring is worn by him on his right index finger. This can be used as a covert weapon by Warren. The beams travel at the speed of an arrow, and have a range of thirty five feet. The beams lack the power to do any serious harm, being limited to only moderate damage. This can do a shot every seven seconds.

Explosive Shield (requires Area Attack Proficiency and Area Defense Proficiency) – 600 OM

A sphere that surrounds a user with a protective barrier for as long as it is sustained. It takes about a second to activate. When the user chooses, the shield will either simply dissipate, or explode outwards, damaging anyone nearby at the cost of more energy. As it is a 360-degree sphere with a regular activation time, this won't block strong piercing attacks, but the explosive effect can be used to turn the tables on an overconfident opponent.

Pyrokinesis (requires Ranged Proficiency, Ranged Materialize Proficiency, Remote-Control Proficiency, Area Attack Proficiency) – 900 OM

Ricky has the power to control pure flame at will, creating an expanding or shrinking field or tendril of flame that can fill a space of around twelve square meters. The more dense the flame, the hotter it burns, whereas the more spread the flame, the weaker it is and the more energy it takes to sustain, making it very weak when spread over a wide area. Ricky cannot block physical projectiles but is effective at setting things on fire. This is mostly a utility move as Ricky has specialized fire attacks in his repertoire. Specialized moves such as fireballs, pillars of flame and all others will be purchased separately. It takes only a moment to summon the flame near to Ricky, or up to a few seconds if further away than a few meters, and it can spread as fast as Ricky can move. Ricky can move (but not attack) while using Pyrokinesis but this splits his focus, making it slightly more difficult for him to move the flame at full speed and aim.

Buster Sword (requires Physical Strength) – 300 OM

A massive sword, roughly five feet in length and one foot in width. It's not as quick as, say, a katana, but it makes up for that with sheer size and heft. The blade appears to be made out of a red crystalline like metal that almost appears to be made out of crystal. It's very heavy, and so is hard for Ricky to swing properly, but in return for that it has more power than one might think.

Spent OM: 20000

NPC Name: The Everyman
NPC Source: A Beginner's Guide to the End of the Universe
Are they an A, B, or C-Lister? C-Lister? (Main character, though of an extremely obscure (and extremely silly) series)
Character history: The universe ended. The big bang stopped going bang, and started going crunch. Everything was reduced to a singularity. But the collective consciousness of the human race gathered into a single being, who imposed his will upon the decaying universe and stopped it. When there was nothing but a void left, he created some last vestiges of reality, and in the end managed to stop the singularity from consuming everything. It cost him his life, but his body broke apart and scattered, seeding new life so that the once-empty fragment of a universe wasn't so empty anymore.

Physical Description: The Everyman is...quite generic, in every sense of the word. He stands out in no way whatsoever, and yet everyone seems to see him slightly differently. His form is so bland and 'average' that it wouldn't be hard to see him as just a featureless stick figure, rendered in such lack of detail that anyone could fill in any details they desired, were he rendered in some form of media with a diverse viewerbase. He stands at an average height, with an average build, with no outstanding features of note.

Total OM Spent: 11,700
Level: 3

Stats: (Stat Upgrade I + II)
ATK: 3
DEF: 3
SPD: 3
TEC: 3

Proficiencies: (3,000); Physical Strength (1000), Ranged (1000)

Powers: (2,300); Survival (2000), Basic Super Jumping (300)

Moves: (1,800); Repeating Flintlock (300), Blazing Hot Betty (1,200), Siege Hammer (300)

Repeating Flintlock (Requires: Ranged) 300 OM (Approval)
A simple flintlock pistol, with four barrels and a rotating chamber. Functions as a standard, one shot per barrel weapon. It packs a moderate punch, but isn't terribly accurate, only having any relaible accuracy out to about 15 meters. It takes 6 seconds to reload each individual barrel, and the Everyman carries an extra four rounds with him at any given time; summoning more beyond that takes two seconds per round. In a pinch, he can technically fire anything that he can fit down one of the barrels, not just the rounds specifically made for it.

Blazing Hot Betty (Requires: Physical Strength, Ranged, Debuff) 1,200 OM (Approval)
Blazing Hot Betty is a unique sword, forged from the Everyman's reality-warping powers of CREATIVITY. Rigged together from the remains of a broken lightbulb, a broken wine bottle, and a magnifying glass, it is a standard blade, just over three feet long from pommel to blade point. It is razor sharp, and serves as a solid melee implement, though it is made of glass, and when struck against other weapons it runs the risk of being damage, or breaking altogether. If the blade does break, it can be repairs, though it takes fifteen seconds to do so. In addition, the blade does have a limited supply of power for its added functions, in the form of a battery. When it is drained completely, it takes fifteen seconds to fully recharge it, which requires full concentration though doesn't prohibit moving to avoid getting clobbered, and consumes stamina equivalent to sprinting up a lengthy flight of stairs.

Additional functions of the sword include being able to use the lenses to focus ambient light, heating the blade up to let it deliver an additional punch with its next strike. Focusing the light necessary takes five seconds, and the blade will only remain heated for up to ten seconds, or until a strike is landed, whichever comes first. This doesn't drain from the sword's battery, but does have a small stamina drain attached to it; it's relatively efficient compared to the damage it produces, but overuse will still exhaust the Everyman pretty quickly.

The sword can also convert this energy into a blast of light, focused into a laser. It takes 6 seconds to prepare and focus the necessary power, during which time the Everyman must remain stationary. When fired, this burst of energy is no more than three inches in diameter, and can reach up to 30 meters before fizzling out. It has impressive force, and can be sustained up to three seconds before the charge of power runs out. Firing this laser completely drains the batter of the sword with just one shot, and the recoil tends to make the Everyman stumble a little. On top of that, the laser can only be used with a full battery charge, making it...situational, at best, to try and employ.

As a final note, the sword can be lit up like a regular lightbulb. It can be used to light dark areas, or switched on as a sudden surprise in a fight to catch an opponent offguard, temporarily blinding them and shrouding the blade in light, making it harder to judge where it is to block it properly. The blinding effect is fairly minimal, only lasting for about three seconds -- it's just like suddenly having a lightbulb turned on in your face. From a full charge, the light function can be maintained for up to thirty seconds before the battery is fully drained.

Siege Hammer (Requires: Physical Strength) 300 OM (Approval)
The crazy result of the Everyman using his reality-warping CREATIVITY powers to combine a battering ram with a lance. The result is a solid metal shaft, about two meters long, topped with a massive hunk of metal and iron shaped like a massive sledgehammer head, with one striking face capped with a metallic ram's head. The entire head is nearly two and a half feet from one striking face to the other, and forms a rough cylindrical shape just a little over a foot in diameter. The weapon is extremely slow and ponderous, taking nearly two full seconds just to wind up for a swing, but it hits like a runaway freight train if it connects. It is extremely heavy and unwieldy, however, and with every swing (even if it hits), the Everyman is left unbalanced and recovering for a full second afterward, during which he is completely open.

Super Moves: (600); T1 Super Attack -- MOTHER. FUCKING. LASER BEAM. (600)

MOTHER. FUCKING. LASER BEAM. -- T1 Super Attack (Requires: Ranged) 600 OM (Approval)
Identical in every respect to the normal usage of Blazing Hot Betty's laser attack, but far more focused and potent. The beam is narrowed down, to just an inch in diameter, and burns a target for three seconds before exploding, throwing the target back with tremendous force -- and also knocking the Everyman off his feet from the recoil. It's a powerful thing, but it's not the best thing to use wildly, due to energy drain.

Assists: (1000); T1 Assist -- Snuffy the Poocch (1000)

Snuffy the Pooch -- T1 Assist -- 1000 OM (Approval)
The Everyman's loyal canine companion. Appears as a perfectly normal, mundane dog, save for the fact that she is purple. Reasonably intelligent and capable, and determined to protect the Everyman.
ATK: 1
DEF: 1
SPD: 2
TEC: 1

Why does this character have to be a prime? The Everyman is...kind of dumb. Really, really dumb. His usual antics are liable to see him end up very dead, very fast; being able to come back from that and keep going is something of a necessity for him.

What role do they play in your story? Alternately an antagonist, ally, and source of comic relief.
Quote:NPC Name: Jean Bison
NPC Source: Sly Cooper Franchise: "Sly 2: Band of Thieves"
B-Lister/C-Lister (Mid-game Level Boss of a single game, no reoccurance)

Jean Bison was a prospector in the 1800s who was flash frozen after setting off an avalanche. He defrosted in the modern era, and due to difficulties adapting joined the Klaww Gang to become a shipping tycoon, using their resources to continue to tame the wilderness in the old fashioned way: cutting swathes through the Canadian forest.

After his defeat at the hands of the Cooper Gang, Jean was arrested by Carmelita and, after serving a reduced sentence and given education to adapt to the modern era, joined the Environmental Protection Agency. On a rescue mission for young penguins that had gotten lost on a sightseeing tour, he fell into the freezing seawater and was last seen in a block of ice drifting off towards the North Pole. He was given a presumed posthumous award for his bravery.

Jean was not, in fact, dead. Once again his constitution persevered against the cold. His frozen form was summoned into the Frozen Fields as a secondary, where he awaits defrosting.

@ Marisa: Approved as a B-Lister PRIME, just be sure to keep this rule in mind, please:

Quote:While we don't want to put too many limits on your creativity, NPCs are not there to give your character a game advantage. For example, you cannot create an NPC with a base and then use that base for yourself, circumventing the need to buy one. You cannot create artefacts to give to your NPCs. You cannot make them members of a Faction without approval or otherwise use them as a way to gain cheap influence or fame. If you have NPCs act as a 'deus ex machina' for your character in competitive situations, staff will step in to stop it. Etcetera.

NPC Name:  Aiden

NPC Source:  Samurai Jack

[Image: attachment.php?attachmentid=141146&d=1377876113]

Character history:  The death of Ashi was one that broke Samurai Jack, for the longest time. Aiden was born to an unnamed wife by Samurai Jack because he needed an heir if he was to be the king of his people. As a result of this, Aiden was raised from an early age to be a powerful combatant, but also a skilled leader so that one day he could lead Jack's people, and Jack could commit Seppoku. Little did they know at that time evil would return and Jack would be needed once more to go out into the battle field.  As Aiden went through training in Archery, Horseback Riding, and many other skills across the world however, Aiden realized that Jack was getting older. It was not Jack's place to go into battle anymore, it was his own place to go out into battle and face down opponents that Jack had no business battling. Aiden returned home after his training which was much more intensive than what his father had received was done. Sure enough, evil did rear it’s ugly head in the form of an opponent Jack could not handle battling.

Warriors who were trained to battle against Samurai, and win. To save Jack, Aiden went and grabbed a weapon from the armory Jack kept, the sword of Mad Jack. Using it, he was able to cut down the opponents. However, he ended up severely injured in the process, and passed away. A copy of his mind was taken by Omni and has ended up here in the Omniverse inside a new body. He has also acquired a collection of blades for some reason, as well as a collection of other items.

Starting Moves (*require pre-Approval unless basic*):

Arsenal of the Champions (1800, Physical Strength, Ranged Proficiency.): Arsenal of the Champions is a move that allows Aiden to summon weapons that he has wielded. At present, he can only summon 5 weapons with this ability that have survived the trip with him into the Omniverse. Summoning any of them takes him about 2-3 seconds to do so. It is also moderately exhausting on his stamina. Also, each weapon has their own requirements.

 • Jack’s Katana: The katana associated with his father Samurai Jack. Originally one of the most powerful blades back home, but here it’s power has been reduced quite significantly, due to the nature of the Omniverse. While this is still a very durable sword and can clash with lightsabers, or similar blades easily, this sword really possesses no special properties. The blade takes him about 5 seconds to manifest. It is his favorite sword to wield. This can be used one handed, or wielded two handed as his personal style. When using it he does not wield other weapons. The sword cannot be used with other weapon moves as a result of that, but can be used while moving.
 • The Scotsman’s Sword: While the Scotsman may not exist in Jack’s timeline, his ancestors who made the blade did. This heavy claymore type sword is wielded by Aiden as one of his blades. The Scotsman’s sword is good against more heavily armored opponents, weighing about 50 pounds. The sword appears to be made out of a crystalline material. Due to the weight of the sword he needs both hands to wield the blade. The sword is very tiring on his stamina reserves,  but has a high amount of power with each swing that he does.
 • The Sword of Power: The sword of power is a sword that is a twin to the sword Excalibur. It has bronze, black, and red trim. This sword can clash with light-sabers, and other augmented weapons.. The sword is very durable, and more powerful even than its twin. This sword takes about six seconds for him to summon it to his hand, visible by a coalescing of red flame into a black shape that fades to reveal the sword. The longer its held, the more powerful it becomes (1.1x after the first minute, 1.2x after the second minute, etc, up to 2x), but at a cost to the holder. It drains the user's life force, at the same time cementing its hold on this world. De-summoning the sword takes six seconds, but this increases by one for every minute it gets to exist in this plane. This is moderately draining on the stamina of Aiden, and is not one of his favorite blades to summon because of it's darker nature.
 • The Bow of Robin Hood: The Bow of Robin Hood is a green colored bow that appears to be made out of solid oak. The arrows that this bow shoots travel at the speeds of regular arrows, but appear to have diamond tips on them. The bow and arrow can also be used as a melee weapon, by bashing an opponent upside the skull with it. Both uses are moderately draining on his stamina. Summoning this does not require any concentration at all for Aiden to do actually. The bow has 10 shots, before he must take the time to make more arrows. This is moderately draining on his stamina. In addition, it cannot be re-aimed, and arrows cannot be adjusted. Has a range of 100 feet.

Why does this character have to be a prime?  This is so I can test the character and see if he would be a good full Prime when I get to my third, or decide to swap.

What role do they play in your story?  This is made to be a separate NPC Prime and have his own story. However, he will be a hero that will fight Warren Zimmer down the line many times, actually.

NPC Name: Xx_Yandere_Lo♥er_xX

NPC Source: OC

Character history:
Xx_Yandere_Lo♥er_xX had a fairly dull life before the Omniverse - yet still, he was living the dream. After dropping out of college and living in his parent's basement, he dedicated his life to the sword. A weapon he obtained by spending his birthday money. Over the course of a year, he mastered his training and spent the rest of the time watching anime and posting on internet forums. Every day, his mother tried to force him to get a job. And, every day, he was a drain on society. But, should the demons ever come, he would be prepared. Xx_Yandere_Lo♥er_xX may or may not be his real name, but what is for certain is that he has a very strong love for yanderes. The blood. The adorableness. How they'll do anything to be together with their one true love.

One day, instead of waking up surrounded by anime body pillows, he woke up alone in an expansive white space after dreaming of a kid wizard giving him a magic ball. He'd shrugged that aside, heading off in a random direction - that place happened to be Coruscant. Little is known about what happened next, but he soon separated himself off from other primes after and found himself living on Tier 3 of Coruscant - in a basement just as before. Perhaps accidentally, his parents were summoned and continued to try and force him to get a job, unaware of his prime status as they swiftly adapted to the new world.

But, Xx_Yandere_Lo♥er_xX was not phased by this. He continued his training. He continued watching anime. And he continued posting on internet forums, just waiting for his calling. Waiting for the time to surface and strike. Waiting for a yandere to love.

This requires 2 of seconds of light focus where he can move and act as usual, but can't use other moves. This isn't interrupted if he takes damage unless it's a large amount (like a super attack). After drawing his sword like this, he can't do it again for an hour.

Why does this character have to be a prime?
As a secondary, Xx_Yandere_Lo♥er_xX would never have managed to ascend to his true strength. He's no pushover.

What role do they play in your story?
An antagonist on Coruscant. Namely for Warren Zimmer at the moment.

Are they an A, B, or C-Lister? (If you don't know what this means, you didn't read the manual) - if they are original, just put 'OC' here.

Did Warren request you do this?

@Alex: No. He didn't.

For the moment, a secondary will have to do. I don't feel comfortable at the moment setting the precedent of letting people create prime npcs for the sole purpose of unwantedly antagonizing other characters.

@Alex: If I asked Warren's opinion of him being a prime once he gets back online, would it influence your decision?

As a side note, after my first couple of posts on the Dataverse, Warren OOC asked me to keep trying to antagonise his character with "Xx_Yandere_Lo♥er_xX" by "spamming the thread". He just never requested I make this app.

Further sidenote, if a fight does happen, I'll ask him if he wants a 'scripted win' or to have it graded.
