Recognition/Ascendancy

I figured I'd probably best make a topic for this, since the two times I've asked 'Quick' Questions so far, the answers have taken at least several posts to clear up.

So, I have two questions today:

First - Is Recognition absolutely not going to ever require more than 50k words, regardless of writing quality, or is it like a quest, where you have to write up to twice as much if you don't do a good enough job?
I'm asking because if it's the former then my latest post puts me roughly 80% of the way there.  :woah:  

Second - Is there a list anywhere of all the players with Ascendancy & Recognition?
I'd like to know in relation to Coruscant in particular, since that's where Hijiri is living right now, so I feel like I should make him recognise those people... knowing the rest of them for the other verses would be nice too, of course.

P.S. INB4 someone is all like "Ermahgerd, Y U no lern 2 use search function, n00b?"... I dunno about the rest of you, but every time I try and use the search I get a MyBB error. Every single time, without fail... so that's not really a viable option.

Yeah, I get the search errors too sometimes, if you wanted a search link, I've got this:

But, typically, Recognition is mostly for if you contributed to a verse in some way (story wise, so fighting against the main authority would still count), so a filler storyline where you just party with your mates probably wouldn't count towards it.

If you hit 50k words and it looks like all of those have gone to contributing towards it, you'll stand a chance of getting recognition. I can't find any record of anything that says it's like a quest with a potentially increased word cap - it's more "I've got a bunch of storylines and they all contribute" kinda thing.

Lastly, to my knowledge, I don't think there's a list. It'd be nice if there was, but I don't think there is one.

As far as I know, the only Primes that have ever had recognition are:

Shang Tsung - Moores
Trixie - Coruscant
Tearen Wover - Steppes
Sasuke - Endless Dunes
Gildarts - Tangled
Guu - Tangled

50k words is required for Recognition, but it isn't the ONLY requirement. You also have to do something worth recognizing. If you, for example, were to write 100k words about your character counting grains of sand in the Endless Dunes, that would be a no. When you submit your work for Recognition grading, you have to make the case for why you think you deserve it.

As far as I know, the only Primes that have ever had recognition are:

Sasuke - Endless Dunes
Gildarts - Tangled
Guu - Tangled

Trixie and Sasuke's requests were denied for now (the former is working on it). Also Proto, Thaal, Magus, Jade, Zack, and Illidan have Recognition in their Verses of choice. You can search for the word 'Recognition' in the Logs forum and it will bring up a list.

EDIT: And no one has Ascendancy yet.

I see, thanks. I have a couple ideas for things that might make Hijiri more visible to the public eye, so hopefully I'll manage it at some point before 100k words...

I was expecting a lot more people to have Recognition, given how many of you there are with levels much higher than mine... but I'm not complaining; this just means I'll look even cooler if I do manage.  :frogc00l:
