Burn like my hate
#1
As the sun beat down upon him, and caused liquid to drip in the armor that he had created over his body, Warren was not amused. Of course if someone had told him about a month ago that he would encounter someone named Dark Hecate, and she would murder an elf in front of him, Warren wouldn't have believed them. In fact, he'd have probably chased them out of his lair with a plasma blaster. Sadly, that was the truth of the matter that he was currently trying to come to terms with. What he needed to do first was get a place to call his home. While he did not like the abominable heat of the Endless Dunes, there were a few things in it's favor. One, if Dark Hecate came here, she'd have a disadvantage of being unable to use her ice powers which would put Warren himself at an advantage. Two, there were bound to be a lot of ruins here, or places he could build himself a base that few people would dare approach. Three, the heat and lack of water in the place for the most part would discourage would be travelers, and would likely discourage Dark Hecate from coming here. Four, he had been planning a change of scenery to get away from the insects that were in the Tangled Green anyway, and move himself somewhere safer. The Quarterback of Chaos trekked through the Endless Dunes at a brisk pace, and he was not very happy. Okay, not happy was an understatement. Deep within him was boiling a cauldron of an emotion that felt like lava within his body. What was this feeling that he was dealing with?

The unidentified feeling blazed in his chest like someone had injected liquid magma into him. It was not a good feeling, whatever it was. It did remind him of something though. It reminded him of the attitudes the Guardians had towards him. The "Righteous Indignation" they possessed had at most times been ignored by him, but now he could understand where they were coming from. His however was not the level they possessed, but as far beyond it as could be humanely possible in his opinion. One foot after another. Keep moving. The heat of the Verse should slow Dark Hecate down if she arrived here. Her ice powers were likely to be less effective, or so he hoped in this place. It was a long shot, but it was the best idea he could come up with. Really, he'd need a therapist at some point for the trauma that seeing that murder had caused.

What was he doing though? Warren was a villain. Villains were supposed to be able to take care of problems like Dark Hecate themselves. Some even had minions they could delegate unpleasant tasks like the one he was going to have to do if no one else was willing. Wait, that was it. A bounty! Why didn't he think of that sooner? If he put a bounty out on Dark Hecate, perhaps some Prime with much more experience than him could solve his Dark Hecate problem without banishing her, and he wouldn't have to lift a finger. Sure dealing with her himself would be cheaper but he was still learning how to use all of his equipment in the Omniverse anew. This would put him at a disadvantage, because she possessed immense skill with that blade that looked too similar to his own armor that he normally wore for himself. Either he was going to need to change his armor so it was a different color, or she was going to have to change that knife so it looked nothing like his armor.

In any case, he knew his base was going to have to be away from any areas there were people. The fewer people who knew where his base was an advantage in his case. However, he should also have people nearby. An idea donned on him. If he went to the furthest part of "Civilization" and built somewhere past that, he could have the base that he needed. It would be ideal in slowing down Dark Hecate, and any others with her kind of level of insanity from finding him, that much was certain, he knew. Even better was the plan he had to make his base underground. It would make it harder to find if he could come up with some means of deactivating any form of tracker that other Primes could be used.

The bounty was posted by him on the Dataverse as he continued walking, aimlessly.

Once the spam on the page that he had created in the Dataverse had been detected, Warren frowned for several moments. Someone believed he didn't like yanderes. What were yanderes anyway? Warren didn't know, anyway. His trek continued. As bumps rose on his skin because of the misery that was the environment, Warren realized that this place would likely frustrate Hecate to no end. This was the plan, anyway. Hopefully if physics were the same here that they were back home, the heat of the place would make her life miserable if she came after him. Of course he planned to use the nature of the environment around him as another deterrent to her introducing him to stabbity death. Many deterrents to such were needed by him. For his own sake, Warren knew he needed to get back to being a villain. Yet, he had to have morals at the same time. An idea donned on him as he continued his trek through this blasted desert. It would be villainous if he were to put someone else in the path of Hecate so that Dark Hecate could murder them instead of him, and Warren knew that. He also knew he needed to develop new firepower so he could protect himself better. His armor was due for updates and upgrades anyway, and better to do it sooner.

Forcing his aching body to keep moving, Warren took a deep breath. So far he had a plan that at the very least would allow him to survive. His plan amounted to pitting whoever was between him and Dark Hecate against her, and letting them take the brunt of her fury. A coward's approach but one Warren could get behind doing, for now. When he was stronger, Warren could do something about it himself. After all, Dark Hecate likely couldn't survive a missile directed at her face at point blank range. A rocket launcher might be a useful weapon... but no. Not on it's own, would it be good enough. But why should he stop there? Building some sort of modification to his armor that could allow for extra firepower was a very useful asset in his case.

The sweltering heat made moving his body more difficult for the Quarterback of Chaos. In fact, his armor did not help matters but he was not about to shed the armor because he didn't want to be left able to be gutted by Dark Hecate. A base of some sort was needed by him, but he was not strong enough to do that, yet. He knew it was a problem that he needed to solve. A head quarters was needed by Warren Zimmer because he had nowhere he could honestly call home. Sure he had the base in the Tangled Green. Sadly he could not go back there until he was strong enough to hold his own against Dark Hecate and that was going to take effort on his part.

Misery was the only word to describe how he felt at present because of the intense heat, and the other miserable elements of this blasted verse that he was inside of. Unfortunately, this was the best place that he could hide from Dark Hecate. Warren doubted she'd travel that far to get him with a knife in the spine. Really he was not letting it be that easy to take him down. When he was ready he'd face her, but it would be on his terms, not hers. His terms involved a base that could protect him some from her antics, and a lot of traps and ambushes. Warren was an inventor, and so inventing a way to stop her couldn't be that hard, right? His trek continued.

"....."

The spam done by Yandere Lover on what was to be a serious warning to the denizens of the Omniverse was not something that was appreciated by Warren Zimmer. Quite the opposite really, he disliked that the individual was spamming posts made by him in the Dataverse and wanted something to be done about it. Traditionally, Warren would order minions to deal with it, except he had none here in the Omniverse. A problem he was going to have to solve by creating his own minions for himself. Of course there was another way he could deal with the issue of Yandere Lover being a spoiled self entitled brat, and that was by hunting him down himself. And Yandere Lover probably was not as powerful as Hecate which meant that hunting the individual down would be relatively safer for Warren's health. The individual didn't know it, but he had kicked a nest of hornets when he had started to agitate Warren. His continued provocation was like kicking a badger in it's rump. In other words, he had awoken a side of Warren that most people would not like to encounter, a side that was willing to pay back his irritation with pain.

And given that Warren was already at the end of his proverbial rope because of the fact he was now "homeless" until he could do something about Hecate, Warren knew that this guy's antics couldn't be tolerated. How could he deal with him though? If the Storm Troopers had beaten him up simply for who he was, they would likely get someone to murder him if he killed someone on Coruscant. An idea donned on him that the individual perhaps was not on Coruscant. Where else would someone have access to mobile dataverse devices? Well, if they were a Prime they could likely own one of them themselves. If he was a Prime, Warren knew he couldn't battle Yandere Lover yet. His power simply was not enough on it's own, at present. All in all, the continued spam of the individual on his dataverse posts needed to end. Since asking the individual nicely had not worked, this left the more villainous way of getting things done.

"...."

As the spam continued, Warren stopped walking and turned around. Insults such as the ones heaped upon him by Yandere Lover could not be tolerated, and so he was going to deal with this in the only way he knew how. Treat it as if it was one of the Guardians he was battling, and actually get off his duff, and do something about it. For the love of himself, Warren knew he was a villain. It was time he started acting the part and did something about this dick.
