CHARACTER NAME: Ryu Hayabusa

CHARACTER SOURCE: Ninja Gaiden

CHARACTER HISTORY: Born in the wrong time, Ryu was destined to be great. Had he been born 200 years in the past he may have been a King, but growing up in the modern world, they just didn't have a place for Kings anymore. Trained in the art of ninjutsu by his father Ryu quickly learned and soon surpassed even his prodigious father. After his father's death Ryu took possession of the Dragon Sword and continued his father’s goal of eradicating evil from the world.

Ryu stands at 6’1 and 155 pounds.

Ryu’s trust Katana. What it lacks in power and bulk it makes up for in speed and precision. Because of the forging of the blade Ryu is able to also deflec minor attacks with this weapon.

Throwing Knives (Requires Ranged Proficiency) - 300 OM
You thought those 6 throwing knives fastened to Ryu’s pants were just for show? Oh no. Ryu can throw them with deadly accuracy even while moving. At first they might feel like a simple nuisance, but try having a few hit the same spot,, they might not just be annoying after that. With concentration Ryu is able to “make more” knives, taking roughly 10 seconds per knife Ryu wishes to conjure, however he can never have more than 6 on him at any time.

For your history, when exactly in his canon was Ryu pulled into the Omniverse?

For Dragon Sword, what's the length?

For Throwing Knives, what are the dimensions on these? What's the effective range that he can throw these? Lastly, how fast do these move when thrown? I don't necessarily need a number, something like "speed of a fastball" would be fine, though if you want to use a number I have no problem with that either.

Dragon Sword (Requires Physical Strength) - 300 OM
Ryu’s trusty Katana. The blade of the Dragon Sword is 60 cm long, just under 2 feet in length. What it lacks in power and bulk it makes up for in speed and precision. Because of the forging of the blade, Ryu is able to also deflect minor ranged attacks with this weapon.

Throwing Knives (Requires Ranged Proficiency) - 300 OM
You thought those 6 throwing knives fastened to Ryu’s pants were just for show? Oh no. These knives weight about two ounces each and are roughly a foot in length. Ryu can throw them with deadly accuracy, with speeds around that of a fastball, even while moving. Ryu will usually need to be close to the target, within 60 feet, with the knives becoming completely ineffective if Ryu is 100 or more feet from his target. At first, they might feel like a simple nuisance, but try having a few hit the same spot, they might not just be annoying after that. With concentration Ryu is able to “make more” knives, taking roughly 10 seconds per knife Ryu wishes to conjure, however, he can never have more than 6 on him at any time.


For when he enters, after Ninja Gaiden Sigma, when Ryu has reached his 21st birthday. Also I would like to change his height and weight to 5'10 and 175 pounds if that is alright.
