Switching: From Bendy to Hunter Hayes
#1
(New OM is approximately 6940)

Character name: Hunter Hayes

Character source: Apotropaism

Character history: Hunter Hayes is a loving man who runs an orphanage with his wife and adopted daughter. He has mild schizophrenia, but it usually isn't a problem unless the full moon is up. As All Hallows' Eve's full moon approaches, Hunter begins to fear the worst. Halloween is a harbinger of demons and evil spirits, Hunter believed, and in preparation, he dedicated his time to the preventative measures against any blasphemous corruption. The last thing he ever wanted was to put his child and the dozens like her in danger. Stella, however, found her husband's beliefs ludicrous.

Casting spells, performing rituals, it was all for naught. No amount of holy protection eased the worries of oncoming danger.

Some thought of his actions as heroic, others found him to be a madman.

That night, as trick or treaters danced door to door, Hunter Hayes sacrificed himself for the protection of those he loved. Except he couldn't, as at that moment, he was taken to the Omniverse.

Holy Salt (Requires Debuff, Ranged, Area Attack, Area Shield) (600 OM)
As a priest, Hunter has knowledge of protection spells, as well as spells to harm evil spirits. In the Omniverse, his offensive spells now hurt anything that he interprets as willing to harm him or his friends.

He always carries two bags filled with holy salt, one blue and one red. As an attack, he takes a moment to grab a handful of salt from the red bag and throws it in a 10-foot-wide, 6-foot-long cone in front of him. The salt floats in the air for several seconds, and if an enemy enters the cone, they are inflicted with a burning sensation and blindness for as long as they remain in the cloud and for about three seconds afterwards. He has enough salt in the bag for 7 throws, and takes 15 seconds to refill it. It's not tiring to use or refill, but the attack itself doesn't technically deal damage and is intended to safely subdue enemies.

The blue bag contains protective salt, and by taking three seconds to draw a line of salt around him, he can create a protective circle. Hunter can be interrupted, but can resume with creating the circle if it isn't broken. If it's broken, the salt used is wasted. It's large enough to fit two people inside of the circle, including Hunter. Enemies who try to enter the circle will be forcibly ejected like they touched a giant bug zapper and generally cannot enter at all unless they can break the circle, which can usually be done with a decently strong attack, although attempting to do so without a weapon will be difficult given the nature of the circle. Attacks that don't involve the body will still go through, but are significantly weakened. If anyone protected by the circle attempts to attack, or if Hunter leaves the circle, the protection immediately drops. He has enough salt for two circles, and it takes 20 seconds to refill it. He can usually only refill twice per battle. It doesn't take much effort to set up the circle, but the protection effect steadily drains from his energy reserves and he typically can only hold the ward for two minutes or so.

Pistol (Requires Ranged) (300 OM):
This is an 1875 Schofield Revolver designed to shoot silver bullets. It hits hard, but Hunter isn't skilled with it and takes several seconds to aim and fire. He also needs to hold still to fire. The gun holds 6 shots, and takes 10 seconds to reload. He carries two extra cartridges. It's somewhat tiring for him to summon extra cartridges during a battle, but he can usually eke out 6 cartridges, taking 30 seconds per set of three.

Tier 1 Super Utility Move: Selenian Lunacy (Requires Debuff, Ranged, Area Attack) (600):
Hunter plants his feet in the ground and chants in Latin for several seconds. Over time, an image of the full moon appears behind him as he channels its power. After five seconds, the moon will be fully visible. After another second, the image explodes in a sphere of blinding light approximately 25 feet in diameter. Being physically exposed to the light and seeing it will greatly affect the target. The target will still be affected if they don't see the light yet are bathed in it, or if they aren't touched by it but can still see it, albeit to a lesser degree. If they aren't within the sphere of light and don't see it, they will barely be effective.

Anyone affected by the move will have vivid hallucinations for 10 seconds that will make it difficult to discern friend from foe or actually attack, whether from fear or trying to avoid the hallucinations. The contents of the hallucinations will vary, usually related to something the Prime finds terrifying.

I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct. Yes

Few checks on your moves.

Blue salt: Please define 'several seconds'. How easy is it to break the circle? Can one just disrupt the salt? I feel this is a fairly balanced move, it's just that those parts are left untold.

I was almost ready to approve it, and then this sentence XD

"Enemies who try to enter the circle will be forcibly ejected like they touched a giant bug zapper and generally cannot enter at all unless they can break the circle, which can usually be done with a decently strong attack, although attempting to do so without a weapon."

Although attempting to do so without a weapon ...
