A second first impression.

As Des exited the portal he began to feel queasy. 'Right, forgot about that...' 

The robot after reorientating himself looked up to see the buildings and stared in astonishment, it was also like a futuristic version of his home, it's almost to hard to believe that both the city and the open fields are so close.

'But I guess this might also be the tech based dimension that I theorized about, though I better find a hotspot of activity if I'm going to learn what happened...'

'well... That was easier then I thought it would be...' The little Red robot said looking up form the Communicator on is wrist. ' I'll still need to look for that 'ottsel' tough.'  It was at this moment that Des detected another portal nearby, it was smaller though, the robot followed the sonar to it and stepped inside, maybe he could find someone to help.
