The Vision quickly peered around his surroundings. He was zooming perilously close to the rooftops of Rando Le Terz, his scanners working faster than they ever had for his allies. There were a few troops straggling, but given their reaction to the storm above, it was clear that they had come to their sense. The few who were not gasping and weeping on the ground were trying to find cover from the intolerable winds. Vision himself was flying unusually to compensate for the weather conditions - rather than weightlessly gliding, he was constantly reverting from hyperdensity to hypodensity and back. The effect was a strange sort of mid-air jumping, as he used his momentum to keep moving as swiftly as he could.

The numbers were scrambling downwards rapidly. Vision scowled. Despite Captain Rogers' intel, he still could not find the three Avengers quickly enough.
"Vision!" Marcus' voice rang in the Vision's head. "I've got a lot of the civilians on boats!"
"Query: what boats?"
"It's an island town," the Terminator explained, "They have lots of boats."
"Ah," the android answered. He had little else to say, as he was busy flinging himself narrowly over the steeple of a church. Fortunately, Captain Rogers filled in.
"Good work, Marcus. We'll rendezvous at the Quinjet."
Vision finally spotted the three, thanks to Captain Rogers' bright outfit. Though it was tactically inadvisable in normal situations, the android would have been unable to locate him otherwise.
He landed heavily next to them, his weight twice what it usually was to compensate for the winds.
"Captain," the android said calmly, despite his computer running all subroutines associated with anxiety, "we have three minutes before the island detonates."
"Marcus!" Rogers shouted, "Are the boats prepped for evacuation?"
"Yeah... I think we have everyone," Mr. Wright replied.
"Leave now!"
"What about you-"
"Now!"
Captain Rogers glanced at the android. His uniform was in tatters and the shield scratched. Frisk appeared to be heavily injured, her leg bloodied. Vision panicked.
"Ms. Dreemurr. You are injured."
"Thanks, Captain Obvious." Frisk waved her hand as if to brush away Vision's concerns. "We'll talk about it later."
Vision felt his heart sink, though he found no error reports about any displaced organs.
The android turned and pointed at an alley. "Recommendation: this route is the most efficient one to the docks."
Hellboy nodded. "Let's get goi-"
A bolt of lightning struck a nearby street sign. Vision estimated that had he stood anywhere else, the lightning would have sought him instead. He further estimated that this outcome was not optimal.
Vision went first, picking up Frisk gently. He was shortly followed Hellboy, still supporting Captain Rogers.
Following Vision's lead, they navigated swiftly towards the docks, where the Quinjet was parked. Soon, a black-and-gold glint flashed from afar.
"Mr. Vision," Mr. Jarvis' voice fizzed through the intercom.
"Query: were you napping?"
"I was fetching our new pilot," the butler responded.
"I see. Request: wait for us at the docks. The Quinjet will be there."
Captain Rogers laughed then mumbled, "Stole my line. The robot stole my line."
Captain collapsed in Hellboy's arms. The demon shouted, "Vision! This guy's getting delirious!"
Vision grit his teeth and turned to Hellboy. "Take Ms. Dreemurr. I will carry Captain Rogers swiftly-"
Another bolt of lightning flashed terrifyingly close to them. This time, it struck a nearby wall in the narrow alley. A chunk of concrete and plaster started descending towards the demon and his charge. Hellboy lightly caught the boulder with his right hand.
Then the entire wall collapsed, causing Hellboy to grunt under the strain.
"Go!" the demon bellowed. "Take Cap and go!"
"Hellboy-"
"No time to argue!" the demon strained, "Don't help me! Just go-"
Vision set down Frisk gently and lightly dipped under the debris, picking it up easily.
"But if it collapses-"
"I will phase through it, an ability I've displayed multiple times."
"Oh." Hellboy blinked twice. "Right."
He slipped out from under the debris, hoisting Captain Rogers up once more. Frisk snickered.
"Aww, look how much you care for each other now!" the pacifist chuckled.
Ignoring the comment, Vision phased through the debris and picked up Frisk again.
They were soon at the docks. There were no boats nearby,
On cue, a black-and-gold-armored man arrived with the pilot. The Iron Butler landed on the wooden docks.
"Blair?" Marcus wondered out loud.
"Marcus!" the woman exclaimed, hugging the Terminator. "Jarvis said you'd be here."
"Query: are you our pilot?"
Blair nodded. "Best damn pilot in the resistance."
"I hope you can fly that thing," Marcus mumbled.
Blair gave the Quinjet a once-over. "High-tech. Looks like it could fly itself."
Captain Rogers wearily looked up, half-conscious. "Tony?"
"Not quite. If I may." Mr. Jarvis, in his armor, took the captain from Hellboy's tired arms, leading him to the Quinjet.
Blair climbed into the cockpit, reading the labels for the various switches and levers. Marcus watched her worriedly.
"So? Can you fly it?"
"Yeah," Blair replied unconvincingly, "Seems easy. Everybody in?"
The Avengers clambered into the back of the jet, Hellboy entering last.
Mr. Jarvis nodded. "Let's go, Ms. Williams."
Blair flipped a switch and pulled the wheel gently. It was a smooth lift-off, especially given her lack of experience with the plane. But it was too slow.
"Ms. Williams, please close the hangar doors," Vision shouted over the wind.
Blair nodded and flipped another switch. The hangar doors began to slide shut.
Abruptly, a crack resounded across the island. Vision's scanners indicated a gunshot from somewhere on the island. The android peeked out and noticed a small figure on the beach with an orange, furry head.
Vision followed the trail of the bullet. It ended at Hellboy, who appeared to be a little more red than usual.
"Oh," the demon gasped.
Vision's auditory sensors shut down involuntarily as the android attempted to grab him. The plane jolted to the right as the storm tried to latch onto the plane and drag it onwards. Hellboy tumbled out of the plane.
Vision was shouting something that he couldn't hear. Frisk tugged on his cape, tears in her eyes. Vision's other subroutines shut down to compensate for the burdensome CPU of his anger programs.
The doors closed and the Vision entered shutdown mode. His last thought before he went to sleep was, "Rando."
