Resolutions
#1
So, I have some New Year's resolutions that I hope to hold to. Most in regards to my offline life, but the one that affects this site is:

I resolve to spend 1 hour a day doing something in regards to writing.

You guys have any roleplay-related resolutions you'd like to share?

I have resolved to do more reading. My dyslexia impares my attention span when I read but I am planning on being a judge so I will be doing a lot more reading from now on. I've also vowed to drink less pop and lose 10-15lbs. Not to mention work on a much more feminine register.

My resolution is to (honestly) make it through the year without a hiatus x3. miiight not be able to do it... but no reason i couldn't try
"I've been here before, used to this kind of war. Crossfire grind through the sand. The orders were easy: 'It's kill or be killed'. Blood on both sides will be spilled."

Hopefully get my third character within the upcoming months.

Have something resembling an attempt at killing everyone in the Fields within the same timeframe.

I plan to lose some weight this year but I've already been doing that for the past six weeks so that doesn't count as a new year's resolution, however I want to get a first draft done of one of the damn book ideas I have and stop flaking on them.

My NYR is actually bad for you guys, because I plan on spending a little less time in front of the PC, including the Omniverse. I'll likely hit the gym or a sports club to get myself in shape a bit.

My New Year's resolution would be stay active in the Omniverse and through swtor with a rp friend that I known for a very long time since childhood.

A lot of my resolutions are actually IRL related - things like quit smoking pot, quit smoking tobacco too (though I think I want to ditch the weed first so I don't want to quit tobacco anytime before that. It'll probably help me through getting off the bud lmao), hit the gym, etc.

In regards to writing, though; I really want to push through the last of my writers block and make sure I stick around for good this time! So I want to make sure that I post at least once or twice a week with Vader when I'm doing solo stuff with him, at LEAST; if it isn't a busy week I want to do way more than that. My idea is to build back up my writing potential/motivation and "unrust" myself if you would so I can find a way of slotting this site into my life and still be able to juggle everything else along with it such as work, college, family, social life, etc.

For the Omniverse, I really need to spend more time writing and really get myself into handling staff things. Usually I'm really excited about calculating bonuses and join apps are AWESOME, but lately I've been feeling .... guilty, I guess, about not writing more. Not that staff duties are interfering! It's the exact opposite, they get me really inspired. But blugh, for some reason all the things I write seem dumb. Maybe I'll snap out of it!

Outside of the Omniverse.... I just need to make an effort to be friendly towards people. I feel like a lot of people think I'm just acquaintance material while I'm already convinced we're great friends. I'm devoted to people almost instantly, tbh. But if they show the slightest bit of annoyance or some other negative emotion while I'm around I just..... Iunno. I have a huge desire to have friends and be loved, but I'm too defensive of my interests and stuff to really open up. So, I'm going to try to stop that. Yep!

Not consciously a new year's resolution, but I've been trying to save money for moving to Scotland, and basically live a lot cheaper. Basically instead of spending about £10 a day on food from living on ready meals and pizzas and shit, try and cut those out, as well as most meat (purely for cost) and more vegetables and cheap shit like pasta. I am terrible at this. But I am doing it.
Curious about me and the characters I play? See the 'Staff' page! See also the rosters for my characters Samus Aran or Enel if you'd like to see examples of well-formatted rosters. Hope you enjoy the Omniverse!

To stop being lazy. That sorta incorporates spending less time at a desk, using the gym membership I pay for but rarely use, and writing more. The grand, long-term plan is to develop some semblance of time management.

I've continued to lose weight. Down about six or seven kilograms from when I started, though the loss has kinda crawled and I'm more maintaining it (not eating well enough to lose it, but not so bad as to be putting it on). The writing stuff for my book hasn't really happened.
