Also, I'm going to close down this thread. To me, it's redundant, since I set it up so that all the staff members who focus on joining applications have the power to edit user names. They can process name changes at the end of the switching process. Outside of character swaps, I can't think of any need to change a username, but obviously someone can make their own update thread providing a reason and requesting that.
