Switching - Grothnar Ironfist -> Frore Haya
#1
Character name: Frore Haya

Character source: OC

Character history:

Let's start with the world itself, shall we?

On the year 2154, the Earth was sent into widespread panic. The planet was dying, due to a combination of a world war taking place, and overpopulation, causing widespread overuse of all materials available. When the panic started, the war stopped - a mutual truce being established. Together, they worked to get everyone off the planet, and eventually - 4 years after the panic started - they formed interstellar travel ships Beta, Gamma, Omega, Alpha and Epsilon. Each ship carried a mere 50,000 people as they got off the planet; they were out of time and resources, and so had to leave the rest behind.

On the year 2159, they came upon a star with many hospitable planets; they later named this star Mercy. By the time they arrived upon Mercy, the five ships, and their 250,000 combined residents, had all fallen under a single government; Alpha would be the head of the group, managing what laws are passed, as well as having control over the shuttle's deployment docks; The captains of each respective ship would manage the enforcement of these laws; And the captains would come together as the Combine, for a vote on whether or not to send out landing ships - a process which they had went through for multiple stars before they found Mercy.

Now, the vote came up positive on landing ships on planets in Mercy's orbit. However, the captain of the Alpha was quite content with managing everyone where he could easily do so; it's hard to manage a whole galaxy at once. So, he closed the hangars manually, preventing them from leaving. Epsilon and Beta weren't quite content with what Alpha was doing - and as such, they found themselves hacking into Alpha's controls to re-open their own carriers, and hoped the others would do the same, and join them in rebelling against Alpha. Rather than help, Omega and Gamma found themselves angry that they didn't help; and after doing hacking of their own, declared war.

Now, on the year 2213, the war is still taking place. On one side, the Alpha Empire, trying to conquer the rest of the galaxy to keep order. On another, the Beta-Epsilon Republic, bent on stopping Alpha at all costs; and then there was Soryan Dominion, named after captain Mariss Sorya, of the Omega ship; the soul purpose of which was ending the Beta-Epsilon Republic.

Frore Haya, born in 2187, was the daughter of two soldiers of the Beta-Epsilon Republic. She was inspired to fight the same war when she found a battle breaking out in his hometown - and as such, had to watch her parents die to the Soryan Dominion soldier Zal Kortek. She trained herself with firearms, and eventually joined the Beta-Epsilon Armed Forces(BEAF).

She found herself fighting in two major battles;

First, on the year 2210, was the Battle of Sol Tekka. In this, she fought through many Soryan soldiers - chief among them being general Mar Sorya, a descendant of the Captain of the Omega - on the desert planet of Salris in the town of Sol Tekka. She ended up winning the fight, executing Mar with a Grinder Shotgun blast to the head at point-blank. This was the first major victory against the Soryan Dominion the Republic has had in five years.

Then, three years later, there was the Fight for Fort Slair, in which the BEAF fortress Fort Slair was assaulted by Alpha forces on forest planet Morlan. While most of the soldiers defended the base, Frore rushed in head-first to take them on the offensive, and eventually, others joined her. This is what eventually lost the battle, allowing Alpha forces to clear out those still defending the fortress and take Fort Slair. She almost died as a result.

Finally, we've reached where we are now - the Battle of Graal, taking place in the space above ocean planet Graal. Previously, spies had infiltrated the ranks of the Alpha Empire and retrieved plans for a space fortress known as Consequences. Their first stop for the weapon, if completed, would be the Republic base on the planet. Ultimately, Frore was one of the few who boarded the base.

Eventually, she and the others with her fought their way to the core of Consequences, ready to detonate it. They found the self-destruct, however they found it required a button be held down until detonation. Ultimately, Frore was the one holding down the button, demanding the others to get out. Ultimately, she had accepted her fate...

But then, she was taken into the Omniverse.

Grinder Shotgun - 300 OM (Requires Ranged Attack Proficiency)

Frore's weapon of choice. A two-handed plasma shotgun, quite powerful but inaccurate. Each blast is about 1 foot around, with a maximum effective range of 30 yards, though the blast is weaker and harder to aim the further away the target is. The Grinder Shotgun can fire two blasts per power cell, and Frore can carry (level * 3) cells on her at once. After each shot, Frore has to pump the shotgun before firing again.

I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct.

...Actually, I'm gonna drop this app. After thinking it over for a while, I feel like she risks walking a path that puts her directly in Mick's crosshairs. I'd prefer to choose something that allows me to separate the two characters. Give them some breathing room. I don't need a Rebel AND an imperial bounty hunter active at once.

I'm just gonna put having an alt in general on hold for a while, too, until I get my shit together.
