Nezha had tried speaking to that white outline in the darkness, but any attempts to move had been stifled by some sort of paralysis. With his brain struggling to make him move, trash, open his mouth, breathe, he expected the encroaching blackness of oxygen deprivation. "So I was saved only to die, listening to this thing in my final moments." There was but a small problem, the blessed sleep of death would not claim him. No spots dancing across his vision, no creeping blackness from the periphery. Just a steady heartbeat as his brain screamed at him to breathe even though it somehow did not need oxygen at this moment. "Huh? So I guess breathing's no longer a thing?"
The technicolor orb of so called Omnium floated in the air where Omni had left it, waiting for Nezha to grab it. Just one problem, "Hello? Still totally paralyzed over here..." The burning need to breath returned with a vengeance as Omni left, prompting some experimental movements and "Yes!" was the thought followed by a frantic inhalation, "Blessed Air!" and a screaming exhalation as the control network of his body resumed full function. It even seemed as if the world was brightening a smidgeon. Scratch that, it was definitely brightening!
Nezha was confused as all hell. That much was for sure. That Omni character had explained things in only the broadest of strokes. "Well, at least I'm not dead yet," the young man thought as he looked around the area being steadily revealed as his eyes adjusted to the natural lighting of the Nexus, "though for an afterlife this looks kind of shitty. Or at least nothing like I thought it would." Nezha was standing by some huge fountain and... What were those things in the distance? There were people around, so perhaps he could ask them about this place once his sanity decided to rejoin his consciousness. And with that Nezha sat on the ground, trying to... digest these recent events.
