Omniverse....
#1
The darkness engulfed him as he tried to fight it, to no avail. As the last bit of light disappeared, he felt himself begin to give up hope. Then a shift begin, as though space and time were reversing... or going forward? He could feel some sort of change in the darkness as a silhouette appeared before him. Eon tries to speak, though nothing comes out. He stares at the figure...

Quote:“My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.”

Eon's fist clinch, A game? This is a game? Omni hands Eon an orb. Holding it, he can feel what it is at it's core.

Quote:“This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most."

His fingers digging into his palms, teeth gritted together, You changed me... you promise me anything I desire... I want no part of this! Why me? Because you find me interesting?

Quote:“You will not be alone in the Omniverse. There are others. Of course, they, too desire Omnilium. Do not fear death. For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn."

His fists released, his head dropped, he felt even more defeated, You don't even care... A curse of immortality... I couldn't free myself of this even if I tried... you've stolen others as well. You know what I'm thinking, that's why you have that grin on your face. This show you're putting on here is for your own conscience, can't feel bad if you've explained the rules to me.

Quote:“That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough. I’ll be watching … and waiting.”

Eon nodded in acceptance. Closing his eyes.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Eon Saverem opened his eyes, before him stood a large fountain ordained with lion's heads and water flowing forth from them. White, everything was white. Illuminated but at the same time a void, it seemed as though he stood on nothing and nothing surrounded him. If not for the fountain before him, his sense of equilibrium may have been lost. He stood there, staring at the fountain. There were others in this place, he turn his head to see a slender pale male with blonde hair shoot up and start running full speed in, what seemed like, a random direction. As Eon surveyed the man's possible destination and noticed what looked like an archway. Eon looked over his shoulder to see an odd group of inhabitants, what looked to be two small girls, one with short white hair; the other had horns and a young boy with glasses. The one with the horns caught his interest.

The one that brought me here, took me from my world. It would make sense that there would be others here from different worlds as well, which means different forms of life. Not impossible to believe when I consider my own creation in my own universe. There are going to be a lot alien beings here. He noticed a robbed figure, as it turned and noticed him, Eon's hand twitched as the being bore no face but 3 glowing eyes A lot of alien beings...

He checked himself over, he wore the same clothes he had been wearing... and with a great comfort he saw both his pistols, his brethren, were at his side. He could not find his cross but there was little time to worry about that, something caught his attention. A group of what appeared to be soldiers, clad in white armor and matching helmets, marched through the area. They would stop to talk to the other new arrivals, gesturing to a specific gate with their weapons and then back at them aggressively. Eon had seen this kind of thing before, "recruitment". He scanned the entirety of the area, 8 Archways seemed to be the only possible form of an exit. Which one? They were so far away, and if he tried to make a break for it the Recruiters would surely notice him. He turned calmly and begin walking towards the three children he'd notice earlier. They seemed like they had been in this world for a while, they seemed completely relaxed, unphased by the world around them.

Eon walked through their conversation, "Apologies, excuse me." He didn't want to start off on the wrong foot with anyone but he needed to put something between him and the soldiers. He thought of his next move. He continued walking, not looking behind him to draw attention. Time was a hard thing to gauge in this place, though he had counted nearly 600 steps from the fountain, 10 Minutes roughly? He stopped and slowly turned, the Recruiters had continued their business in an opposite direction. Eon knew he couldn't stay in this place. With new arrivals, and the fact that this place seemed to be the center point of this world he was brought to, it was only a matter of time before someone started a fight or forced him to join some alliance he wanted no part of. So he continued in a random direction.

Omnilium... what connects everything in this world... there would be nothing without it... I would be nothing without it... There is flesh and organs, beyond that cells, and beyond that atoms. Yet even atoms had to be made up of something. That something is that of my own creation. Energy. That being changed the very make up of my existence. He changed my core... no, all he did was alter it. I mastered my existence in my world and I will master my existence here. He drew his two brethren, There's a reason you stayed while the other did not. You are like me. We will figure this world out together. Placing them back in their holsters, he reached over 7000 steps and before him stood an archway, or in reality it was a gate. It was made of worn and eroded stone. Eon stared into the portal. He thought to look back, then thought better of it. This was his now, that was his then and he looked at his future. He took a step into the gateway. A FLASH... the sensation of heat, the taste of dry air, the familiar feel of sand beneath his feet. His eyes adjusted, "Home?"
