I know the rules state that to utilize my power up in a fight, it'll cost me 1 sp a post or 2 sp a round. My question is as to whether this cost transfers over to stories as well, seeing as I transformed and forgot to mention whether I was using it for a post or a round, though I suppose that's a moot point now. Heh...

With non-competitive stories, use your own discretion but try to keep to roughly the time frame you'd expect if it was a player fight. In your case, I'd finish the transformation in your next post, same as if it was a fight and you were using it 'until next turn'.
