Autumn trudged through the snow, freezing cold. Even in her winter outfit she couldn't stand the cold. "God damn why did I come here seeking an opponent to spar with?" Her eyes perked up as she saw another figure in the distance. She yelled out to it, "heeeeeey!!! I challenge you to a friendly duel, do you accept?" She took her guitar off her back, and awaited his reply.
"I've been neglected, harassed, beaten, and diminished all my life. What motivates me to continue? The glory of proving people wrong. Being worth more than the numbing existence offered me. To be a hero." - Amber

He slowly lowered the binoculars from in front of his eyes, his usually stoic expression drawn even tighter, as much from his relative displeasure at the biting cold of his location as from not being able to see a blasted thing, even with the binoculars. Too much snow swirling in the air, making the already dim light like a veil over anything beyond a few meters. He'd have to wait until the snow abated -- assuming it ever did. Either that, or just get on with his business the old-fashioned way...walking and taking his limited sight radius with him to try and try to find a suitable location.
He was interrupted from his pondering over a suitable location where a safehouse might be put by the sudden sound of a voice raising itself above the wind's insistent, faint howling. The soldier navi turned his eyes to the speaker, and gave her an appraising look by way of answer. "....a duel, is it?" he finally asked in response. He clipped the binoculars in his left hand to his belt, before he swept his right arm out to one side, shaking the snow off of it. "I don't like to think about it, but I'm a little rusty myself..." He held his saber up before his face and stared at it for a moment, as if looking for something specific about it.
"Very well. I accept."
With that said he kicked off from his standing position, launching himself off the ground with enough force to send snow flying every which way, leaving two distinct 'craters' in the slushy fluff where he had been only moments before. He dashed across the intervening distance as quickly as he could, heavy footfalls crunching on the snow underfoot, and struck out with a lunging swipe of his saber, aiming a blow to strike right across Autumn's torso from hip to shoulder, the energy blade hissing as it carved through the frigid air. He was fairly confident that the distance of his charge would provide ample opportunity to at least react to such an obvious strike, but he was merely testing the waters; learning what his opponent was capable of.
"Hold on a second, I have a call..."
"Yes, this is Wesker. Go ahead."
