When it comes down to it, I just haven't been able to find a voice for Link. I've tried for two years, and the only real fun I have with him is with Ganondorf, and that's just not enough for my main. I've run into this problem about three times over the years, but always chose to persevere and see how I went, but now I know that Link (or any vision I seem to imagine) is not working for me. This is not a spur-of-the-moment change like my alts have been; I have thought this through.
I've spoken to Omni about making Link an NPC and he is fine with that.

Character history:
Orion is a member of the saiyans, a powerful and ruthless warrior race. He was born on what was then Planet Plant, living in the rocky and barren wastelands while the other inhabitants, the Tuffles, enjoyed the many fruits of civilisation.
When Orion was twelve, the leader of the saiyans, Vegeta, led them in a war against the Tuffles to claim the planet for their own. While initially the saiyans were winning, despite their superior strength the Tuffles pushed them back with superior numbers and technology. However, a rare event took place on Planet Planet; a full moon. When the saiyans looked at it, they transformed into Oozarus, fifty foot apes with vaporising energy breath attacks.
Their newfound power was too much. The Oozaru army decimated the Tuffles in short time and claimed the planet for themselves, renaming it Planet Vegeta after their king.
Their freedom was short lived: a year later, Frieza, a galactic tyrant, came upon the warrior race and 'recruited' them into his army. In this new role, the saiyans invaded planets and wiped them clean of any resistance, so Frieza could sell these planets to other races for exorbitant sums.
Orion hated Frieza for the leash his race now wore, but couldn't do anything about it. The saiyans had won their planet, but so soon after their victory, they were slaves. For years he trained, sometimes intentionally bringing himself close to death during missions in order to boost his strength when he recovered. As the leader of a saiyan squadron, he proved why he belonged in the elite pantheon of his race, taking planet after planet, but it was all training for the day he would kill Frieza.
At twenty-eight, Orion and his squadron undertook a difficult mission to Serin. He heard that no one in Frieza's army had been successful at conquering the planet, and that provided the perfect opportunity to test his skills. However Orion's team failed and he almost died, having lost the left side of his skull in an explosion.
Orion was taken in secretly and experimented on. The lost brain and skull were replaced with a bio-technological computer; a NOVA unit. He was tested and prodded within an inch of his life, though he barely registered that he was alive. After three years, his surviving teammates of the failed assault on Serin found him, having previously thought he was dead, and rescued him.
Unfortunately, one of his rescuers was slain, and the other, badly injured, set a random course to escape the planet, but they didn't make it back to Planet Vegeta. Good thing too, because a few years later, Frieza destroyed it, and the vast majority of the saiyan race.
Orion and his ally Cabbis spent the next ten years on another planet. They had made their home there, until Orion's vision turned white and everything fell away ...

Orion is 6'3 and 110kgs. He wears black armour adorned with a silver plate that runs over his chest, along with fingerless gloves, metal bracers and flat pauldrons. A pair of mustard yellow pants are tucked into dark blue boots, and he wears a purple robe with golden trim and an elaborate design running down the sides, held together with a golden chain. He sports a moustache and goatee and wears an eyepatch over his left eye. Orion has a furry brown tail like all saiyans curled around his waist, hidden within his robe.

The projection of Orion's ki in an explosive form. Generally, ki blasts are quickly produced, being a little larger than a baseball, and fired at opponents. On impact they explode, but are not very potent. Orion is capable of firing many blasts quickly, but extended use will tire him.
On the other hand, Orion can also charge the ki blasts to increase their size and strength. He can take up to ten seconds, wherein every second the ki ball expands 1.5x its previous size. When charged longer than five seconds, the ki blast will explode in a wider area, damaging anything in the radius.
Ki Beam (600) (Ranged, Area Attack)
Similar to Ki Blast, Ki Beam is a constant column of energy about three feet wide. Orion charges for two to three seconds and then launches the attack from either his hands, or in Oozaru form, his mouth. Orion can maintain the attack for about fifteen seconds, allowing him to put pressure on a target or engage in a defensive clash of powers.
Like Ki Blast, Orion can charge this attack, taking up to ten seconds to do so. Every second increases the width of the beam by 1.5x. When charged longer than five seconds, the ki beam will explode in a wider area, damaging anything in the radius.

Using the light of a full moon or his own False Moon energy ball, Orion succumbs to his saiyan ancestory and transforms into a fifty foot tall ape with glowing red eyes and the ability to shoot Ki Beams from his mouth. In this state his attack and defense increase significantly, while he loses some of his skill. However the Oozaru form is designed for overpowering a foe while being difficult to topple, and Orion rarely loses a fight when transformed.
