Character name: Rin Okumura
Character source: Blue Exorcist (T.V. series)
Character history: Rin is the son of satan, born from a human woman that allowed his father to posses her. His mother died soon after giving birth, and left him and his twin brother, Yukio, to an exorcist named Shiro Fujimoto. This exorcist was sent to kill the mother and her children, but instead accepted them and raised them as his own.
Rin led a normal human life as he grew up. But his unnatural strength and temper was strange to his classmates and teachers, who saw him as a demon and called him various names like "Demon Child." He often got into fights and injured all of his classmates, and the only one who could stop him was his adopted father, Shiro. Rin always admired Shiro, wanting to be like him when he grew up. He always protected his younger brother Yukio from bullies and encouraged him to chase his dream. He also learned to cook in his youth, with became his natural talent.
In his teen years, Rin had been fired from another one of his part time jobs, and gotten into another fight with Reiji Shiratori and his friends. Shiro had to remind him that he would have to earn a living on his own someday. He found another part time job, where he met a young girl that had lost her scarf as it flew away. Rin ran after it, and as he caught it and was about to give it back, he saw a small monkey-like creature which grabbed the scarf and ran off. He chased the creature through the supermarket he now worked in, and caused a ruckus in the process.
The next day, he noticed a lot of small black creatures floated around in the sky. He began to wonder why no one else saw them, when he was suddenly confronted by Reiji and his friends. They asked him to meet them in an alleyway, where Reiji tried to apologize for his behavior and give him money. Rin refused, which caused Reiji to begin insulting Yukio. This angered him, so he punched Reiji. As Reiji was about to burn Rin with a heated steel pole, blue flames appeared around Rin. Astaroth, the demon who was possesing Reiji, said that this was proof that Rin was the son of satan.
Shiro suddenly arrived and exorcised Reiji, then took Rin back to the chapel where they lived. The other priests were setting up a barrier to prevent demons from entering, but Astaroth came and raided the chapel. He broke the barrier using a semi-truck, which allowed him and his minions to enter. As the priests fought off the demon hoard, Shiro was suddenly possessed by Satan, who tried to drag Rin into Gehenna. This was when Rin drew the sword that Shiro had given him, and stabbed the gate that lead to Gehenna, causing it to dissapear, but killing Shiro in the process.
(There's a lot more history I'm going to have to put in since I want to have all of it leading up to the end of the series, so I'm just going to finish this in the roster if that's alright.)
