BeastMaker: Revan vs Jzall
#1
It’s time to duel!

Arriving by special invitation to the beautiful patch of land in the Vasty Deep two Primes meet and face each other in a place known simply as Duel Island. The island though aesthetically pleasing had been transformed into a field of battle for holographic creatures, these battles would become known only as BeastMaker!

Revan stood in a green field believing himself to be alone, a rumble was felt as the ground shook around him, the ground opened up next to him as a large platform rose out of the ground. Revan took notice the platform looked to be made up of extremely advanced technologies like that found on Coruscant.

Revan had been told his purpose coming here was to challenge another prime to battle, now he realised this would be no normal fight. Still there was not yet any sign of any other Prime. Where was his would be opponent?

13 found himself on a green island in the middle of the vasty deeps. From the invitation in his hand, it was known as Duel Island and he had been sent here to fight another prime in one way or another. He looked down from the rocky platform and saw a pit about 5 metres down that was flat with green grass on it. It slowly rose up until it was just under 13’s platform.

He heard a whirring noise in the wall and looked to the right, a packet of cards with the name BeastMaker on the top. While opening them up, he looked forward, a man in a black cloak had just arrived and was looking around as well. 13 looked at his invitation, additional instructions had magically appeared on it telling him what to do next.

13 looked through the cards that he had gotten, a vorticon, a vulture, a Goron, a wampa, a faceless walker, a virus and an acid squid. Whenever he tapped the image of the creature on the card a 3d hologram of it appeared above with information about it including what it could do and how it would go around doing it.

13 looked back at the invitation, new instructions had appeared:

When you have looked through your cards you will see a machine rise up in front of you.

Think about what cards you want to put in each attribute and then one into it, all cards are permanent at the moment so choose carefully!

13 looked at the machine that had appeared while he was reading it and saw the seven slots that were labelled with different characteristics; intelligence, heart, temper, skin, speed, strength and joker which from what he could tell was how they attacked.

13 thought for a moment and looked through his cards, he looked at virus which seemed rather bad apart from in the heart area so that’s where he put it. From what he knew vorticons were smart but attempted to avoid combat, hopefully only the trait that he wanted for them while in the intelligence category would carry through. He put the acid squid into the joker category and multiple buttons appeared on the machine. Whenever he put his finger over one a hologram of how it works appeared above it. 13 chose the one that looked like an ink brush that fires acid balls and can also be used as a melee weapon. For strength he chose the wampa for what he had heard about it, being able to almost kill a Jedi was no small feat after all. For speed, he chose a vulture, a small ancient Terran bird that could move quickly and had the ability to fly which would give him an edge in combat. For skin he chose a Goron, they had incredibly tough and rocky skin which seemed better than the other options he had been presented with. Lastly, he chose a faceless walker for temper, mainly because it had none to speak of and would focus on killing as long as the vorticon part of it didn’t interfere.

13 looked over at his opponent who seemed to be doing something similar but he couldn’t tell if it was with the same equipment or something another world entirely, specifically their one.

Revan had carefully drawn seven distinct cards, glancing at each of them and studying them carefully he considered his options for filling the seven categories. This seemed to be a most interesting game, he began to make his moves.

The first slot he chose to fill was that of intelligence, he slapped down an Ice Giant hoping such a beast would be adequate for the position. The next being temper which he placed down a Little Sister which seemed like a mere child which he hoped would increase his beasts rage.

He had the perfect card for speed settling on the choice of a simple yet large looking Lizard, which seemed a good choice. Revan chose a Fel Demon to fill the strength slot wondering what surprises it may hold.

Knowing gargoyles were normally made of stone the corrupt Gargoyle under skin was the suitable choice. Hoping for the best he chose a Blue Dragon for his creations heart, ending with a Space Marine in the strangely named joker slot.

13 looked at the new instructions that had appeared in his invitation letter:

Now that you have drawn your cards you may switch or redraw them

You can redraw one (1) card from your deck and then put it in the empty slot

You may then (after drawing the card or if you didn't draw a new one) move two (2) cards into different slots

13 looked through his cards, they were mostly in the places that we wanted them to be in except for the virus. He took virus out of the slot and watched it burn up in his metal hand, a new card packet appeared in the in the wall which contained a single koopa troopa. Putting the koopa troopa into the empty slot, he thought about if his decision was correct or not, turtles could swim very fast for long times and koopa troopas have been seen endlessly walking on numerous occasions although they had also been seen running off of cliffs.

13 pressed the red 'READY' button on the machine and watched as a short, stubby, white waxy creature with cracked, rocky skin, a brush and angel wings appeared from under 13's platform. It looked around a few times and rose up into the sky. 13 thought and the creature went back down to the ground, albeit cautiously. It seemed to follow his instructions but only to a point, if he told it to commit suicide, for instance, it wouldn't from what he understood. 13 looked over at his opponent who was doing something on their end, it was time for the game to begin.

Revan witnessed his opponent discard and choose a new one, despite not originally intending to discard he removed the little sister from the slot and placed down a card called Bobcat Which replaced his former temper card in it’s designated slot.
He presumed it was almost time to have some sort of battle.
A large monstrous creature that seemed like it had come from some long lost part of the Pale Moors came to life on his opponents side of the field.

“So we summon them now?” He said out loud.

He pressed a large ready button as a Beastly form took shape on his own side of the playing field. A massive dragon covered in crimson metal with dark blue lights shining like beacons in most directions. The creatures red eyes glowed as it eyed its opponent.
