Sasuke's Hover Question (Because it wasn't quick)
#1
*Super Double Post Jutsu!*

With the flight power, would I have to fashion a move in order to hover indefinitely without exhaust? Basically, instead of standing, walking, whatever, I would hover instead. Does this need a move or is it cool with simply obtaining the flight power?

It's definitely possible, 'cos I know Failz did this when he played Adam Gaite, but I can't remember if it required a move or not...

No it won't be without exhaust. I tried this a long time ago on Desco without the flight power when I created her. It can be very minor cost but not zero.

Don't think you need a move if you have flight

Why would you try to hover without flight? I'm asking if flight allows me to hover automatically or if I need to make a move?

I think Schwi was getting along the lines of "you don't need flight to hover" (assuming your hovering is basically the same as walking, so you can't go high). But it would need a move, I think (it might be fodder, not 100% sure, but I think it's a move).

As for your question, Sasuke. You may hover if you have flight. But it will cost the same fatigue as flying usually. Even hoving completely still will cost a little (just like standing). You would need a move (might be fodder) to fly at the fatigue cost for walking when done close to the ground.

It cannot be done with no fatigue. But, it's not going to be a lot and it won't make a difference in fights.

So, just so we're clear, I can hover as I travel as long as it tires me out just a tad bit more than walking, without a move as long as I have the power flight. Did I read you right?

IF you have flight, hover all you want.

Without flight, you need a move. Desco did try this and there were height and speed limitations (I believe, that I don't remember). For now, I'm going to say that anything higher than 3 feet off the ground requires flight and you can only move at the speed that your character would be able to fast walk/ run at (not super speed fast, if you have that).

The rules say super speed can be used in conjunction with flight. Are you saying I couldn't do that while hovering? I could still do it while flying low to the ground right? (I have flight)

Because it wasn't really a 'Quick Question'

For Desco it was a limitation of 3 feet iirc, and only as fast as she could go normally. Once I had flight the only advantage it had was I'd still float even if Flight was somehow restricted.
